My husband and I had a very pleasant stay here !!! Manager Tony and the rest of the employees went out of their way to accommodate us . We were staying here for just a night since we were here for a family visit. We definitely recommend it and we will be back when we visit our relatives again!

Check in/Check out process was easy and smooth. My only gripe is that an alarm clock started ringing in the vacant room next to mine at around 6:30am 😩 I called the front desk and was told there was no one their to come turn it off. Finally, someone did about 15 minutes later.

Easy stay very complimentary it’s services very friendly staff the amenities were top notch and it was definitely worth the amount it cost I definitely look forward to staying again and would suggest this location to anyone who wants to have a relaxing evening

The hotel was very beautiful. The bar and restaurant were comfortable but the drinks were very overpriced. The hotel accommodated an early check in without a charge which was a bonus. They did charge a $200 fee - which will be returned to my account, but I was not expecting that charge.

Pet owners and those with small children beware! First off, this location smells horribly of ********* despite being smoke free. The smell was almost unbearable on the 4th floor. I stayed at this location 6/30-7/4 because they labeled themselves as a pet friendly establishment. On my first morning there, I took my dog to the posted Dog Walking area and discovered that there was rat poison covering the grass, not inside of the packaging or inside the secure rat bait box. Unfortunately my dog ingested (soft bait - looked like playdoh in the ground for those of you with small children) some due to this hotels gross negligence. Why on earth would you put poison in an area designated for dogs?! Animal Poison Control was fantastic in helping me save my dog, hotel management took over 4 hours to contact me. I had to go out myself to find the name of the poison from the scraps of paper discarded to provide to the local Pet ER. My dog now needs to be monitored for signs of seizure and internal bleeding which could take days to weeks due to the anticoagulant used, not to mention, this poison, difethialone, is heavily regulated by the EPA because of how highly toxic it is to children and animals, and MUST be contained inside of a secure rat bait trap. Other than expressing sympathy for the “inconvenience”, this hotel took ZERO responsibility for putting dogs and children at risk. They simply cleaned up the poison and carried on like business as usual. I requested to speak to regional management and have heard absolutely nothing. I will never stay at a Hyatt again, will be seeking legal action and warn you all to be careful with your pets and small children at this location.

I don't like being fooled by reviews like most of the ones this place has. Most of them must be for a different place. Going in order... First, this place is difficult to get to. The GPS in my car was repeatedly ”fooled” while trying to get there. To say that this hotel is in a rough part of a violent city is an understatement. The only way I succeeded in finding it was to first use the address of a pizza place I planned to go to for supper, and then updating the GPS. This ”hotel” is in an industrial development which has long since seen better days. Getting accosted at an intersection by an aggressive panhandler while enroute was a highlight of the trip to this ”hotel”. When I finally got there, I had to be ”beeped” in by the desk clerk. Yes, there is an electric lock on the door to allow entry into the lobby. This was in a manner not unlike you would expect in a high-security prison. Indeed, most U.S. airport terminals aren't as secure as the lobby of this hotel is. While I was being checked-in, I was intrigued by the ”rules” of the hotel. Especially the one about ”visitors” (and the hours they're allowed) in guest rooms. The inattention to grammar on the signs about smoking (see photo) should've given me a clue on what awaited me. Since this is only a two-story hotel, there is no elevator. However, my request for a ground-floor room was ignored (despite the hotel appearing to be near empty) and I had to navigate the stairs. Perhaps it was for my safety that I was located on the upper level? The room was reasonably well-decorated and initially seemed clean. The whole interior of the place appears to have been recently remodeled. Unfortunately, the heating in the room wasn't up to the task of keeping the place warm on a sub-freezing night. The worst part of all was the absence of hot water at 7:00 AM! This is unacceptable! It was a preview of the chill that awaited me in the hallway as it was quite cold when I went down to breakfast. I have to say ”initially seemed clean” (despite a strange ”guard” installed on the light switch next to the room door), because, when I turned around, there was an obvious ”X” mark/stain left on the inside of the room door. There was also a chip in the finish of the bathtub. The wiring for the hairdryer appears to have been an afterthought. There was no microwave in the room although there was an opening in the entertainment center where one could've fit. (There was a fridge, though...) There was also a noticeable crack in one wall. Finally, there was a stain on the chair. Please see the attached photos. The best thing I can say about this place is that the sausage at breakfast was quite good. The eggs on the other hand, looked like an industrial/institutional product. Between that cold water for the shower, the room not getting above a cool temperature, and the frosty morning chill in the upstairs corridor, this hotel is setting an example of what ”green” pract

Short version. Upon check in the door was jarred open but the room seemed clean. Ahjee Washington. Left the front desk and took the situation personally. I told her it was not trouble but she said I have checked in all my guest and my co worker can handle the remaining while I take care of you. It was like 1am. Upon her survey of the room she found the lock to be malfunctioning and worked hard to match our room reservation. To continue to keep our valentines weekend plans without a hiccup. Walked us to the new room and upon our head nod she said great and followed up later that evening. Great start to a weekend that could have ended up going in the wrong direction. Details. Check in issues fixed by great customer service. Upon my check in. On Valentine’s Day we received our keys quickly and with verbal clarity. I can tell you how many time I have to lean over cause they talk to the screen. In this case the short stature host made eye contact and was clear. When we arrived at out room the bolt was thrown which left the door ajar. Having never experienced this I was alarmed and walked into a clean room and clean trash cans and sink. With the room looking undisturbed. I still felt bothered and went to the front desk. After hearing my story and hearing here tell another guest that they were full I was in negotiation mode to try and still salvage my valentine’s weekend in a comparable room. Ahjee Washington turned to her co worker and left the desk to look at the room with me. I have never experienced a reception person walking or escorting me to my room. Now initially I was thinking. This level of service is going to end up with we don’t have a room story or we have this room but it smoking or it's in repair. You know something other than what u liked at check in. After arrival she followed protocol I never noticed from a Marriott and I travel a lot. She went over the room thoroughly but before she went over it she offered a new room first but it was not the king bed suite. She reviewed the room as if to write a report. But not to challenge the guest. Cause I am sensitive to when i say something and if it is received as let me decide if what u are telling me is what is true. Upon return to the desk she paused and then said ok we have a cancellation. I am going to switch you to the exact same room. Winning. Great feeling. Problem resolved and i did not have to lose in the process. Also Ahjee. Figured out the lock had malfunctioned. Now how does a malfunctioning lock throw the dead bolt and causes the door to be ajar is another conversation. But she said I dont feel comfortable. With you like this we will get the door repaired immediately but I would like you in a different room. Thank you Ahjee Washington. For bumping the lamp and providing great customer experience.
