Villa V completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything felt stylish, modern, and very premium. The whole property is beautifully designed, and the rooms are brand new, spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable. It honestly feels much more like a five-star hotel experience than a typical stay in El Nido. The rooftop swimming pool is definitely one of the biggest highlights. The view is amazing, especially around sunset, and the whole rooftop area has such a relaxing luxury-resort atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to unwind after spending the day exploring El Nido. The location is also excellent and very convenient for getting around, while the property itself still feels peaceful and private. What really made our stay special was the hospitality. Rio, the manager, was absolutely top-notch and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. He was very welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The rest of the team was equally friendly and professional, and you can really feel that they care about giving guests a great experience. Beautiful rooms, an amazing rooftop pool, great location, and outstanding service. Villa V easily feels like one of the best new places to stay in El Nido. We had such a great experience and would definitely come back again.

My stay at El Nido Resorts Lagen Island was nothing short of extraordinary. The staff's warmth and genuine hospitality were exceptional; they always wore smiles and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. From assisting with ferry bookings to surprising me on my birthday with a beautifully decorated bed and a delightful cake, their thoughtfulness was truly heartwarming. Special thanks to Carell, Jojo, Harnie, John, and Arvin for their outstanding support. The resort's happy vibe upon arrival sets the tone, and you leave with a smile, longing for more. The complimentary tours, seamlessly integrated into the package, were made exceptional by the supportive guides, creating a private and well-timed experience. Opting for the overwater bungalow was a unique and enchanting experience, adding to the paradise that is El Nido Lagen Island. The buffet-style meals offered three times a day were a culinary delight. I wholeheartedly recommend El Nido Resorts Lagen Island for an unforgettable and highly recommended getaway. We stayed for a night at this hidden villa, and it felt like a true home away from home. The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, providing excellent service that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was a highlight—absolutely delicious, with a healthy breakfast offered in the morning. You can even request a floating breakfast, which added a special touch to the experience. While the villa is tucked away down a short gravel road, the peaceful and private setting made it worth the effort. The villa is kid-friendly, but families should be cautious around the tiled swimming pool area. There’s no TV, so if you’re traveling with children, make sure their devices are charged. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay with amazing food and warm hospitality. We highly recommend this villa for a cozy and memorable getaway.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Huni Lio. We stayed in the family room. You can comfortably sleep 4 to 6 if you use the sofa. The crew really took care of us. Lio is a nice relaxed respite from the back packer hustle and bustle of Elnido. Dining choices are so tasty. The beach is beautiful. Watch out for big waves and sandflies/ nikniks - cover up, pack antihistamines and insect repellants. Just a few helpful tips and feedback: 1. Improve the brewed coffee that comes with breakfast or waive the charges to serve the coffee from the expresso machine. 2. The laundry and swimmers hanging in balconies facing the mangrove forest won’t dry even after 5 days leaving a stank so bad. We moved our rack indoors to dry in front of the AC. 3. There’s a constart hum and vibration at the end of the room, last bed. Light sleepers should avoid this bed. Finally wish there was a second bathroom lol but overall the waiting and jesting is part of the wholesome family fun.

From the moment we left the port, our Matinloc experience already felt special. The boat ride was smooth, and the boatmen immediately assisted us with our luggage. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Ms. Jam from FO/Reservations, who gave us a friendly tour and clear briefing. Even before the trip, Reservations Manager Ms. Jeannette had already been very responsive to my emails, making the planning stress-free. Our VIP villa, perched on a cliff, offered an astounding view that raised the standard of our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the generous souvenirs and hygiene kits provided. The staff were consistently attentive and polite special thanks to FO Supervisor Ms. Jhona and their Korean General Manager for adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highlights of our stay included the refreshing fresh fruit shakes, fun water activities, the amazing walking path lined with century-old trees, and of course, the delicious food (their pizza was a standout). The WiFi was surprisingly fast..even powered by Starlink at the port. We also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of staff recommending where to get beers in town since they don’t sell alcohol on-site. Matinloc truly combines paradise-like views with genuine hospitality. Maraming salamat to the whole team for making this my best El Nido stay so far.. I would gladly return a hundred times over.

Jest grillowany na węglu drzewnym, a ja kupiłem 1 szaszłyk ze skórką kurczaka + 2 szaszłyki z grillowanego boczku wieprzowego za jedyne 30P, ten, z którego widać ogromny dym to‧ W hotelu znajduje się basen z piłeczkami dla dzieci, który jest świetny i bardzo czysty. Śniadanie na pierwszym piętrze jest po prostu wyskakujące. Basen na najwyższym piętrze jest naprawdę świetny i wspaniały, ale jedzenie jest naprawdę zwyczajne grillowany brzuch wieprzowy jest bardzo twardy i niezbyt smaczny Zupa z kurczakiem i makaronem też nie była pyszna, a w środku były małe robaki. Po przeczytaniu komentarzy zauważyłem, że wiele osób stwierdziło, że w pokoju było spleśniało. Po tym, jak tam zostałem, odniosłem wrażenie, że było naprawdę wilgotno. Co więcej, wybrany przeze mnie pokój nie miał okna zewnętrznego i nie miał widoku na morze Jednak codziennie, kiedy wracałem do pokoju, kołdra była mokra. To samo tyczy się ubrań, więc musi być poważniej, jeśli są pokoje z oknami na zewnątrz (pokoje z widokiem na ocean), ale ja to zrobiłem nie widać żadnych spleśniałych części w pokojach bez okien zewnętrznych‧ Jeśli chcesz zatrzymać się w tym hotelu, po prostu ciesz się basenem. Nie jest głęboki, temperatura jest w sam raz, a ogólne wrażenia są naprawdę świetne, ale pokoje są naprawdę wilgotne, a izolacja akustyczna nie jest zbyt dobra. a jedzenie jest przeciętne ‧.

Very nice location with amazing sunset. The glamping hotel is new and they are still finishing building it so there were some issues both with the rooms (room lock without proper card but a very hard and strange key, unstable bathroom’s faucet and hot water in the shower with a very unusual control system) and the staff, who asked multiple times if we had payed the room already with Trip and asked for proof of payment. Other than that, it is a pleasant choice for the nice location and the decoration style. The offer a free shuttle service to the town but you need to wait some time usually. In alternative, when u come back to the hotel you will need your walk up to a bit steep road because the tuck tuck will not be able to come all the way up, but it’s not too bad) They also borrow a free towel that u can bring with you to other beaches. They did not clean the room daily and they said the service needed to be requested because they wouldn’t enter the room without permission. Also the reception is not open 24h which is a bit unconvenient and they would ask to text on whatshapp. For the price paid and considered how expensive it was for philippines, I would have expected less issues but I would still recommend it for a nice staying in el nido.

Chcieliśmy wybrać się do miasta wieczorami, co jest pewnym wyzwaniem. Najpierw trzeba wziąć samochód golfowy (który kursuje tylko do 22:00), a następnie przesiąść się na trójkołowy. Trójkołowce nie dojadą bezpośrednio do hotelu, ponieważ ostatni odcinek drogi jest zbyt stromy i kręty. Inną opcją jest spacer wzdłuż plaży przez 20 minut zamiast korzystania z samochodu golfowego na ostatnim odcinku, co zrobiliśmy kilka razy. Nie jest to zbyt niebezpieczne, ale są tam bezdomne psy. Jedzenie w hotelowej restauracji było włoskie i po prostu w porządku, nic niesamowitego. Obsługa nie była świetna. Dwie kobiety wydają się wiedzieć, jak prowadzić hotel, ale reszta personelu była raczej bezużyteczna. Często wydawali się zirytowani, nawet gdy po prostu zamawialiśmy jedzenie. Kiedyś zapytaliśmy o tyrolkę, która jest dosłownie tuż obok, a oni nic o niej nie wiedzieli (cena, czas, jak się tam dostać). Zorganizowali dla nas wycieczkę, która była świetna, ale jakoś pomylili rezerwację, więc przewodnik pomyślał, że jest nas tylko dwoje, a nie czworo, co skutkowało mniejszą ilością jedzenia na lunch. A potem jeszcze doliczyli nam więcej za wycieczkę. Nasz pokój był w porządku. Czysty i bez insektów. Tak, wszystko słychać, ale nam to nie przeszkadzało. Pokój był jednak sprzątany tylko na życzenie. Cały obszar jest piękny, ale było kilka rzeczy, które nas denerwowały. Więc nie wróciłabym tam.

It may not be fancy, but it’s well-maintained and worth the price. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and our entire stay smooth and hassle-free. The location is also convenient, with easy access to nearby establishments and transportation. Overall, it’s a practical and affordable place to stay. Highly recommended for those looking for comfort without spending too much.
