Excellent location, overlooking Tiehua Village Thank you to the restaurant waiter sister for letting us go out to take pictures on the 10F balcony on the night of 12/31. Although when we came back, we found that you were scolded by the supervisor, and the supervisor also looked down upon us, but I really thank you for allowing us to celebrate our first anniversary. A beautiful photo. Next time we go to Taitung, we will still choose Gaya!

Nice location, right in the middle of Taidong. In the standard room, bed is massive and comfortable, though since the room is tiny, bed takes up most of the room. Very slow, super annoying elevator. Breakfast ok — mainly Chinese style dishes.

For the price and location, this is a great choice for hotel. We arrived early and we’re offered luggage storage which was great! The provided breakfast is pretty average however their milk tea is so yummy!! Probably the best milk tea I’ve head the whole time I’ve been in Taiwan! The cleanliness wasn’t too great. The beds and sheets were all clean but some of the surfaces (bedside table, desk and table) could have done with at least a wipe down. The bathroom was a bit grubby but definitely not unusable (just get like I needed to put shoes on each time I needed to go into the bathroom). All in all, this hotel did the job for two nights stay.

Because I only stayed for one night, there was not much experience, but the room was great and large. The room was booked for 4 people. The bathroom was separated from wet and dry, so that everyone didn't have to line up outside the toilet one by one when they got up.
