The room is clean but plain: white textiles and light wood might give off a clinical vibe. So many power outlets, I counted eight and then two more in the bathroom! Service is lovely though, nice receptionists and I overheard how the receptionist asked a couple their breakfast wishes for the next morning, since they were to be the only customers! Basic breakfast, but served its purpose. Glutenfree options were well available when requested. The hotel room itself is quiet, but not fully dark: dim lights behind the ceiling panels stayed on the whole night above the door. They didn't bother my sleep though, perhaps prevented claustrophobic feels since there wasn't a window :)

If in town for business, especially at Tampere Talo, this hotel is the perfect choice as the two buildings are connected with a covered corridor. The rooms however are rather small and the beds a bit too high although definitely comfortable. The coffee machine in the room is definitely a huge plus and if the fridge functioned as a mini bar, that would raise the quality even higher. The on-site restaurant has a small menu but the food is very delicious and they also offer a great bar selection.

There is a Scandic on each side of the train station, which is easy to go wrong. The department store Stock*** is on the side of the City, and the other side is the Station. The breakfast is the same every day. You can consider bringing some instant noodles.

Beautiful scenery, there are two saunas, one smoke sauna and one private sauna. Very close to the Tampere Sightseeing Tower, the doughnuts of the Sightseeing Tower are delicious!

The location of the hotel is still very good, about 400-500 meters away from the bus station, and the main pedestrian street is the main pedestrian street with many shops and restaurants.

The Lapland Hotel is a relatively stylish Nordic hotel. A lot of work has been done on the details. The hotel's restaurant is very nice and the waiters are enthusiastic and professional. Salmon and steak are all available online. By the way, the cream of mushroom soup and French fries are outstanding. We had planned a one night staycation with my son, his long time wish. We got a room from the upper floor and the view was beatiful. It was easter and the hotel was packed. We managed to get a table from the restaurant not until 8 pm. We decided to eat quick to get back to the room to see the sunset. But the restaurant staff was short and we sat there 1,5 hrs and missed the best part of the sunset. A huge disappointment! My advice is: if you want to see the sunset (which must be breath taking), don’t use the downstairs restaurant any later than 7 pm. Beds are comfy and everything is clean and fairly new. City center is right there next to hotel so easy access to restaurants and museum.

An old hotel with a century-old history, full of history, although the facilities are old, but clean and tidy, the view and scenery are also good, the refrigerator is rich in drinks and snacks.

The traffic is very convenient, just opposite the train station, but there are two hotels in scandic, please pay attention to distinguish the names, they are located in both directions of the station

Extremely positive customer service at the front desk. Arriving late was no problem, had a very good pizza at the hotel restaurant, even though almost at closing time. Breakfast was nice, fresh and enjoyable. Everything was just perfect for the money spent.
