I went to turkey with my sister and mother and we decided to stay at the best hotel in Capadoccia, we were really excited to do the ballon trip and get to know the beautiful town. Once we arrived to the hotel the treatment was terrible, they were very disrisispectfull with my mother who is able to walk but had a wheelchair for asisstance. The hotel later told the tour guide from the balloons that they should not allow my mother to go to the trip (without letting us know the reason) and saying there was no room. IMPORTANT TO SAY THE TRIP IN BALLOON WAS ALREADY PAYED AND RESERVED. Later the next day we asked if there was any news on our ballon ride and they said there was no space. we where very disapointed. Later on arriving back to mexico and having our travel agent call the hotel for explanation we learned the hotel staff arranged for us no to go to the trip. Instead of telling us its not recommended for older people or even just letting one of ride, knowing we had made such a long trip to go there. It was on my mothers bucket list and it is very sad to know that lack of sympathy and comunication did this. WE DID NOT RECIEVE ANY COMPENSATION FOR THIS TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE OR OUR MONEY BACK FOR THE BALLOON RIDE. We felt discriminated throughout the stay.

To be honest, I was a little disappointed at first. I feel that there is nothing in the house, but I am familiar with it. In fact, there are basically basic things, including safes. The bathroom is well prepared and the bathroom is one piece. The fruit sent is relatively small, but I have a heart. The breakfast was a bit awkward, and flies flew around. The things that are eaten for two days are exactly the same. The little brother of the fried egg can't understand English so no matter what you want, he gives two fried eggs... The hotel waiter reacts a bit slow, the paper towel in the room is gone, please send it to the front desk, 40 minutes passed, no one , had to remind. Here is the scenery is super good, in the morning can see the hot air balloon rise, but the price is OK, don't expect too high

A great hotel, just next to the hotel hotel, a three minute walk. Relatively recommend this home, from the approaching hotel, I feel low-key luxury, not very exaggerated decoration, but you may have a sofa sitting 2w Europe. The room is much larger than expected, and each employee's quality is very high and very self-cultivating. It is a luxury cottage. The breakfast is very rich, it only takes 5-6 minutes to go to the town, it is very recommended 👍🏼👍🏼

The design of Millstone Hotel is a mixture of cave and modern style. The rooms are large and tidy. The hotel service is very good. Because we catch the plane, we check-out at 7 o'clock in the morning. We can’t have breakfast. The hotel prepared sandwiches and fruits for us early in the morning. Eat in the car, very intimate. Next time I come to Cappadocia, I will definitely stay again.

Had a beautiful experience at this hotel! From the memorable cave-adjacent location (super close to excellent restaurants and walking trails), to the stunning views from the upper decks, enjoyed every moment exploring the property’s compact grounds (be prepared for some basic stairs, but nothing crazy at all). The hospitality level here is super intimate and personalized; I loved the sweet & savory Turkish ingredients, featuring a few local ingredients and memorable locations (that rose-infused jam was divine). Also appreciated the home-cooked eggs, far better than most restaurants I’ve been to lately (likely for being cooked in butter/ghee (at least that’s what my tastebuds detected). Also the owner easily helped me organize a taxi on my departure day and ensured I’d be able to pay with a visa, super helpful. From the intimacy of the property + attention to guests to the spectacular views (also one loving hotel dog), would happily return if given an opportunity and recommend to others visiting Cappadocia.

I saw the review 4.9 the hotel I don't understand why there are such high scores, 1. Facilities: There is no closed terrace in the public area, no hotel lobby or anything, all outside the open air 2. The hotel room is very dim. I thought it was very special. In fact, it was really boring. The equipment inside was a bit old. And there's a smell as soon as you enter 3. The hotel feels like the room is provided, breakfast and change are outsourced 4, the location is to say that the hot air balloon is not bad Personally not recommended, spend the same money to live in a better environment, or go to the town of Goreme

I'm writing this comment a few months (désolé Murat pour le retard ..) after our stay in Cappadocia, but my two friends and I still keep wonderful memories about our four days stay in Takaev Cave Hotel. Everything was perfect, I insist : the room (lovely, confortable, well equipped and cheap), the hotel situation (Uchisar is a pretty little town, with an amazing view on the region from the terrace), the breakfast (complete and delicious) and above all, the staff. As three youngs from Switzerland, we really appreciated Murat's (the hotel owner) efforts to show us where to go hiking in beautiful places. He's been a formidable host, for what we send him great thanks. Same for his team, which has been so helpful and friendly. Thank you again !! To close, I can only recommend the Takaev Hotel to everyone (families, friends, couples, ”routards”, etc.) looking for a unforgettable stay in Cappadocia.

The breakfast is especially good. The boss who is alone is very warm, very kind and gentle. It’s not far from the taxi. The hotel will give you a car and will give you luggage and a terrace room. We are a suite. I can sleep three people, the favorite enthusiasm of the bosses is really comfortable.

The most wonderful stay. I arrived late at night & the hotel staff was so warm & welcoming. The hotel itself should be 5 stars- the room is so clean, stunning design & all amenities available. The rooftop seating has an incredible view & the breakfast each morning is amazing/so delicious! I felt safe & 100% content/happy with my stay. Ahmet, hotel manager, is so wonderful & accommodating to whatever I needed. All tours were on time & very professional. I took the hotel shuttle to & from the airport which was convenient. I recommend this hotel to all friends & family!!

The room was large and the front desk service was very warm and always smiled and greeted us and helped us take our luggage to the room. We booked a 70-square-meter suite with windows on the small balcony outside the room. In fact, there is a 45-square-meter suite next to it. There are windows and you can face the outside scenery, which makes me feel more comfortable and breathable. Staying at the cave hotel will have the ash on the wall to fall. This must be psychologically expected when you check in, otherwise you will feel that the room is not clean. The hotel is located below Uchisar Castle and is the commanding height of the entire town. The location is excellent. Breakfast is rich and hygienic, and will be served after 9 o'clock.

Location +++, ballon view +++, breakfast +++. Balcony room was clean and spacious, with a perfect view of the morning balloon launching. Breakfast was traditional Turkish with veggies, dippings, breads, and made to order eggs, served beautifully by a very efficient staff. Didn’t start until 8:30, but that worked for us. Only negative was the observation that the owner was not around, and as long as he received his monthly revenue, no need to spend anything on maintenance or give staff authority to do so. Pool cushions were stained and torn, chair cushions were junk, flowers were uncared for, closet doors needed fixing, shower bracket broken, etc, etc. Would consider returning, but only after they got their docks in order.

This time, a local tour guide in Taiwan helped to book a cave hotel. It’s the first time I stayed in this kind of hotel. I was really surprised. The huge bathroom and the whole room are made of stone, which is super special. It’s not hot at all in midsummer. I was worried that it would be super stuffy without air-conditioning. The hotel owner said that it is warm in winter and cool in summer, especially the super warm handmade exquisite breakfast. I was especially touched by the waiter kader, super helpful and sweet, great recommendation, it’s great!

Residing in a hotel with my wife for a couple of days. The room is cozy, clean, neat. Despite the March cold in the room was very warm, apparently heated by a warm floor. In the room, we were waiting for tea-coffee-saccharide, 4 bottles of water on 0.5, 2 piece of soap, 2 shampoo, sewing set (why without needle, but with watt sticks). In the room there is a air conditioner, t with Russian channels, fan, utug, tea + cup. San.host is quite clean and neat. Walls, floor, shelves - all of natural stone, perfectly fit in the hotel style, and all cappadonia as a whole. For a pedestrian tourist, breakfast from 8 o'clock will not be very convenient. Early to go for a walk = miss breakfast. And he is good here. Not a Swedish table, but the dishes are very delicious and saturated. For the first time I liked olive oil, in Russia I can't tolerate them, and here everything fell. The restaurant itself has a panoramic (film-for-hot) glass and chic views on the valleys. Breakfast is one pleasure. But the location is very convenient. And to the Ukhchisar Tower hand to hand and to the Maidan not more than 10 minutes walk and to Gereme through the valley of the pigeons only 5 km walk on the amazing road. Staff - young guys, friendly, in Russian do not understand, but in simple English it was quite possible to understand each other. In general the hotel liked, we would be happy to come again. By the way, who knows what was necessary for these ”ice” with stones based on the photo?

We stayed at this hotel in September. Our decision was purely based on TripAdvisor reviews and the fact that this hotel is rated 4 star. We had multiple issues with our stay - One, the hotel was located on a hilltop without accessible roads. It is so steep that shuttle transfers would not go up the road and you have to carry your own luggage. Second, the hotel is far away from attractions in Cappadocia. You will end up spending a lot on taxis to get around, and the food options are also limited to expensive restaurants that don't necessarily offer better food than their counterparts closer to the city center. Third, this hotel was not a 4 star experience. The room was poorly lit, there was no AC, and management was FAR from friendly. Fourth, unlike other hotels in the vicinity, the hotel does not have a dedicated shuttle service. Worse, the hotel owner set up with unreliable shuttle services. We were ready to leave for the airport 4 hours before our flight - the shuttle service arranged by the hotel picked us up very late, then picked up another 12-15 individuals, and dropped us off 40 minutes before departure time. The shuttle was clearly privately owned, but the hotel owner insisted that they are owned by the airport and ”the only” shuttle service available. So for the little commission that this hotel was getting to arrange the private shuttle, we almost missed our flight. Not recommended.

The room was large and the front desk service was very warm and always smiled and greeted us and helped us take our luggage to the room. We booked a 70-square-meter suite with windows on the small balcony outside the room. In fact, there is a 45-square-meter suite next to it. There are windows and you can face the outside scenery, which makes me feel more comfortable and breathable. Staying at the cave hotel will have the ash on the wall to fall. This must be psychologically expected when you check in, otherwise you will feel that the room is not clean. The hotel is located below Uchisar Castle and is the commanding height of the entire town. We stayed at this hotel in September. Our decision was purely based on TripAdvisor reviews and the fact that this hotel is rated 4 star. We had multiple issues with our stay - One, the hotel was located on a hilltop without accessible roads. It is so steep that shuttle transfers would not go up the road and you have to carry your own luggage. Second, the hotel is far away from attractions in Cappadocia. You will end up spending a lot on taxis to get around, and the food options are also limited to expensive restaurants that don't necessarily offer better food than their counterparts closer to the city center. Third, this hotel was not a 4 star experience. The room was poorly lit, there was no AC, and management was FAR from friendly. Fourth, unlike other hotels in the vicinity, the hotel does not have a dedicated shuttle service. Worse, the hotel owner set up with unreliable shuttle services. We were ready to leave for the airport 4 hours before our flight - the shuttle service arranged by the hotel picked us up very late, then picked up another 12-15 individuals, and dropped us off 40 minutes before departure time. The shuttle was clearly privately owned, but the hotel owner insisted that they are owned by the airport and ”the only” shuttle service available. So for the little commission that this hotel was getting to arrange the private shuttle, we almost missed our flight. Not recommended.

Only negative was the observation that the owner was not around, and as long as he received his monthly revenue, no need to spend anything on maintenance or give staff authority to do so. Pool cushions were stained and torn, chair cushions were junk, flowers were uncared for, closet doors needed fixing, shower bracket broken, etc, etc. Would consider returning, but only after they got their docks in order.

We stayed 3 nights and 4 days in the hotel and I can say that it was not good or bad about cleaning. We didn't see any cleaning process when we left the room and came back to the room and when we left the winter, the maximum was 3-4 room. The location is very good where you will use public transport if you don't go by car. You can walk to the Nevşehir centre or the Avanos area 2 minutes later. And the place to go is 20 minutes away. There is a sufficient breakfast variety, no matter how to think about a hotel like 4 or 5 stars. When you first enter the room, 2 shake tea and 2 coffee are waiting for you, and the room is cattle. I advise you to take too much water while you come to the hotel because you haven't much shopping around the hotel. The hotel official Huseyin was very lazy, very friendly, helpful and interested. If you want to stay here, I can advise you because the price/performance is high. On the one hand, the unique view of the Flying Castle of Casar and on the other hand, the colorful balloons flying will welcome you. The main places you will think of traveling in Nevşehir are the Deinkuyu Landsby, Skimbling Landsby, Open View Museum, Love Valley, Urgüp Temenni Hill, Uçhisar Castle, Guvercinlik Valley, Zelve Open View Museum. If you come by car, the valley of Gods is waiting for you.

Everything was perfect from start to finish, We arrived to a warm welcome from the hotel manager who kindly gave us some delicious soup, we were then showed to our room even though we had arrived a few hours befor the check in time. The room was amazing, spotlessly clean with beautiful views, some extra balloons and flowers had been put in the room as we had informed the hotel we were staying for our honeymoon, Soon after we had settled there was a knock on the door and one of the staff gave us a congratulations sign with some gifte and treats from the hotel we were very touched at how thougtful this was. The hotel manager had kindly booked and arranged all of the activities that we had requested which we throughly enjoyed. All of the staff were exceptional, and made us feel welcome, The breakfast was delicious, we had fresh eggs cooked every morning with a huge selection of savory snacks and sweet cakes to choose from. The building has so much charm and charecter, the gardens were beautiful and peaceful. I could go on and on about how perfect our experience was! We could not recommend this hotel enough for a unique and unforgettable stay! Residing in a hotel with my wife for a couple of days. The room is cozy, clean, neat. Despite the March cold in the room was very warm, apparently heated by a warm floor. Walls, floor, shelves - all of natural stone, perfectly fit in the hotel style, and all cappadonia as a whole. For a pedestrian tourist, breakfast from 8 o'clock will not be very convenient. Early to go for a walk = miss breakfast. And he is good here. Not a Swedish table, but the dishes are very delicious and saturated. For the first time I liked olive oil, in Russia I can't tolerate them, and here everything fell. The restaurant itself has a panoramic (film-for-hot) glass and chic views on the valleys. Breakfast is one pleasure. But the location is very convenient. It was only a month since I came back to think of a comment, this is a brand new hotel, the main body is a military base with a history of more than two hundred years, to be reconstructed. The proprietress SELMA was very enthusiastic and showed us all the rooms. We stayed in the cave house on the ground floor. The big bed was carved against a piece of cultural relics. It was isolated by glass and protected well. It was a great experience. The hotel adopts the service of a private butler. The whole building has four floors and is well-arranged.
