Excellent guidance and service from the staff team, beautiful resort island, excellent maintenance of rooms, swimming pool, restaurant, beach, bars. Just a bit of a shame about expensive excursions and water sports activities, they can certainly be half the price. All in all, we enjoyed a stay on a beautiful resort island, enjoyed our ”own” house reef (fish and baby sharks you see every day), enjoyed sunrises and sunsets every day. ...to enjoy your vacation. We have spent 10 days at the Bandos resort in September, and the place and staff are absolutely amazing (more about the people at the end). Unfortunately, there is currently construction work going on and we were only informed about this by our travel agent after the booking. Our beach villa did not really have a beach (yet) as this was still being prepared. The shovel excavator started doing its work at 7am in the morning and sometimes only stopped at 10:30pm. This was the unfortunate part. We do not necessarily blame the hotel for this as the renewal has to be done at some stage. The Bandos resort is soon getting 50 years old and it is good that it is being kept up to date. The new villas at the front left side are really nice. We would just have hoped that the current circumstances would have been better described on the web site and that the prices would have been adjusted accordingly. We had the all-inclusive package which is kind of a must, otherwise the vacation will be very expensive. With AI, you will have a wide choice of drinks and really good food for breakfast, at lunch and dinner. You definitely have to try the different curry's, they are excellent in taste. The best thing about the resort is its team. Everybody is fluent in English, very kind to you and can somehow read your mind and wishes that you have. The management must give their employees a really good training upfront. At dinner, Tanuj, xx, xx and xx gave us a perfect treatment. After a few days they recognized us, despite having to take care of so many visitors. Special requests, such as different beverages or food, were being taken care of right away. At the last day of our stay we had a table that was already prepared for us, The decoration looked wonderful and it almost felt like a honeymoon. The location gets 5 stars. The current construction works (and the way they are handled) reduces it down to 3-4 stars. However, the kindness of the team brings the overall impression back to 5 stars. First of all, I would like to thank Ctrip for its services. It is true that the big brand is trustworthy. But this hotel is an unreliable hotel. If possible, go to another house. Near the airport, Paradise Island, Full Moon Island, or Bandos Island can be reached by speedboat. When I was picked up, I was asked to wait by the side. I waited for almost an hour and no one answered me. We have to wait to get on the boat. When I arrived, I disembarked with an African couple, because after waiting for the African couple to wait for an hour, then I went through the formalities for them first, and I waited next to me. Then when I was sending off the plane, I had a flight at 9 o'clock. He told me to go to the airport at 6 o'clock. I said that I would go to see the dolphins with your hotel group. They didn't care, saying that the boat would not wait for me. But this group of people will definitely not be on time, it will definitely exceed 6 o'clock. In fact, they and Dolphin Sightseeing are both in the same hotel. They didn’t even know when the Dolphin Sightseeing came back, and then they said no to me without thinking for a second. It made me boring all day. Later, I asked myself, and the dolphin tour will be back before six o'clock. The staff at the recreation hub is much better than the cold-blooded people at the front desk. Finally, Ctrip coordinated. The boat departed 15 minutes late, but finally left at 6:25, not because of me, but Xiao Hei slowly got there. I got back to the pier on time at 6 o'clock. There are island hopping tours here, but because this hotel is inherently few people, each project requires more than 6 people to go, and many projects are not enough for people to go. I don't have much time in Madai, so I can only give up. So go to the more expensive islands where more people go, at least you can go to island hopping. The hotel rooms are average. The difference between the garden room and the superior room is the first floor and the second floor. The crows on the trees outside at night are very noisy and can’t stand it. In fact, it’s good for the first floor to be cheaper by 200 yuan a day. This island is the cheapest island fee, 85 US dollars, wifi is very poor, slow to death, you must first buy a data card in the Maldives. The waiter is not good, don't come, go to Sheraton Full Moon Island or Pantos Island, Bandos is about the same fee, 93 dollars, but the diving there is beautiful, the room price is about the same, but the service of others is good. It costs $43 per person to go back and forth to Bandos. You can only practice snorkeling here, there are many reefs, it's a small island, and it discriminates against the Chinese, and the service attitude is so bad. Everyone Chinese, don't come here. I regret coming. I should spend more money to stay in other hotels. The breakfast in the hotel is pretty good. The breakfast place is open-air and the photos are beautiful. The privacy of the room is very good, and the villa swimming pool has a door (lockable). The pool villas of Paradise Island and Paradise Coral Island that I have stayed in were designed with the swimming pools facing the sea, and then surrounded by plants to maintain privacy, but after all The plants cannot stop people from walking in by mistake, so the privacy is the best at Banyan Tree! But the swimming pool is too small, and it is almost useless for swimming (the bathtub is good, and you can soak in hot water at 37.5 degrees, which is very comfortable.) But the overall facilities of the hotel are a bit old. Because the island is small, there are only 48 villas, so the buffet food variety It’s too little, not in line with the positioning of a six-star island, and feels quite shabby, especially with the price of $70. Bird of Paradise’s $50 buffet dinner is much better than it. Compared with before November 3rd (the day when the pool bar opened and guests were treated to free Japanese skewers and cocktails🍹, which was more pleasant.), the island has finally been upgraded with an infinity public swimming pool. This facility is very good, beautiful and practical ( However, because it has just been used, there are design flaws. The anti-skid function of the swimming pool is not good, so it is easy for people to slip and fall. I fell twice. Although it was not serious, it still hurt when I fell, which affected the vacation experience. , I hope it can be rectified so that subsequent tourists will not be accidentally injured), but the most dissatisfying thing is that the hotel treats guests who request to extend the room differently. We booked on Ctrip.com for $150 to extend the check-out time due to room status, but Two Chinese people in another room booked through the hotel's official website and were given a free extension to check out at 18:00. There were obviously available rooms that were not available to guests (I asked to extend the stay until 14:00 and wanted to have lunch on the island before leaving, but was rejected). This makes me quite disappointed with the hotel's service spirit! ! The Paradise Island where I stayed during the National Day was very friendly. They would extend your check-out to the latest time for free according to your flight (they will inform you whether to stay in the same place or change rooms to rest depending on the room availability. I was arranged to stay in the water for free at that time. Thank you very much for extending check-out until 20:00!)

The weather is too bad and the hotel water house is good. The sand house is generally very rusty and not delicate. The hotel environment is not recommended because there are too many boats nearby and you can see the city of Male without the feeling of a water island and the land is too close at night Looking around, the lighting of the building in the distance is very poor. If the hotel on the four islands of Madai is the worst environment

This was a surprise trip for my husband's 50th birthday and we were travelling with my Son Esa aged 8. Once we got to our resort we were greeted and welcomed by Amine and the team. Amine was very welcoming and took us on a buggy around the resort to show us around and escort us to our room. Amine went out his way daily to stay in touch via WhatsApp and kept us updated about all the activities taking place daily. Our room was amazing and we had been upgraded to a beach pool villa:-). The bed was decorated and a welcome card/fruits were placed in our room. The boy's were so excited regarding the private pool. Our resort was amazing and had alot to offer. This resort in particular had a kids club hence why I chose this resort. Guest Relations were amazing and accommodating . Grace also from Guest Relations was very welcoming and came to see us. The restaurant /food was pretty good and had lots of choice. Esa being a child wanted his normal chips/burger or nuggets and was offered this separately which was great. All the restaurant staff was amazing especially Shafiq, Shauka and the team. They all went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and happy. Shafiq had his way of taking care of families and even bringing the yummy special desserts to our table. He would always accommodate us to the best table/view too. Shauka was the head operations manager for all the restaurants and I promise you he was always hands on and ready to serve you in whatever you wanted to eat. He would always go out his way for us especially for my son Esa. Even on the last morning we was leaving he made Esa his favourite waffles :-). Our last dinner was arranged privately by Mr Ejaz (Hotel manager) and Shauka so we can celebrate my husband's 50th. A beautiful table was set on the stilts restaurant with a cake and Shauka personally came to serve us with all the different foods we wanted to eat:-). Absolutely amazing he was. Esa really misses everyone especially Shauka. We had an amazing stay and experience at Villa Nautica. We have already said that we will surely be coming back again and recommending to our family/friends. Small comment regarding the ice cream served at meal times in the restaurant- it was not nice/very poor quality. It was like some powdered ice cream mixed.

Snorkeling on the island is better, we go every day. Wife and child think they eat well. There is a ping-pong table, and we will play for a while after dinner. The services on the island were very enthusiastic. They also helped us to buy masks. The young lady in Shandong and the EMMA in Malaysia were very helpful. We were very moved. His wife said that he would go next time.

Set in Himmafushi, 300 metres from Himmafushi Beach, Molar Wave offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. The accommodation features a shared kitchen, room service and currency exchange for guests. The hotel will provide guests with air-conditioned rooms offering a desk, a coffee machine, a fridge, a microwave, a safety deposit box, a flat-screen TV, a terrace and a private bathroom with a bath. At Molar Wave all rooms come with bed linen and towels. The reception at the accommodation can provide tips on the area.

Stayed beginning of June 2023. Place is new, clean and staffs are all wonderful. We were two surfer girls from US and happy we chose this place. Pros: You ARE on the island where you can walk to ‘Jail Break’ Staffs can give you a ride if they have time. (Check the tide since entry to this point is tricky with corals. You might consider bringing booties). We chose the smallest room with two beds to share our luggages made it little hard to walk around but room has small fridge, bathroom with shower and rack to hang staff. Bikini beach, where you are allowed to expose your skin, is just a steps away if you want to chill. Hotel staffs will go and beyond to help arrange the boat to surf spots and other activities. Oevaru, even though this restaurant is NOT part of the hotel, it’s right next door. FBH has just opened it’s own restaurant for hotel guest around the corner where we had a nice breakfast. Wifi worked good throughout our stay. This is NOT a resort you think of Maldive. This is the ‘Guest House’ so don’t expect breakfast buffets or anything fancy. They’ll provide basic needs. They may fix your sheets but they won’t be washed unless you ask for it. Cons: (Place is new and they are working on improving it for surfers.) They don’t really have a surfboard rack outside. You have to leave your board at lobby or bring up to your room in small stairs. Hot water shower may take 10-15min of running water and not much pressure(local small island with minimal infrastructure). Place has a common area to sit down/eat on 4th floor but it’s too hot to hang out during the summer time. Himmafushi island has no resort, Only three restaurants on the island that were open when we were there had same menus and it’s hard to find vegetables/fruits since they must import food from somewhere. You are expected to cover your skin and no alcohol are allowed on this island. If you want those western cultures you may find to stay in ‘Resort’ or have a day trip to ‘Resort’.
