Had a lovely stay at the Abbey Sands. Stayed for one night as was visiting some friends for the weekend. Lovely, clean facilities and extremely friendly staff. Nothing was too much of an ask. Was also great to see a newly refurbished room. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back soon! Thanks!

A two nights stay at The Abbey Sands was better than expected as the poor reviews made by others made us a little nervous…nothing to worry about! Friendly staff, great value with a tasty breakfast both mornings. Location was great too…just 2 min walk to the seafront and other bars and shops. We’ll be back.

Great hotel with friendly staff, lovely big rooms in a fantastic location only 2 minutes walk and you are on the sandy beach. Hotel has plenty of parking and we managed do leave the car and walked to local restaurants and the marina where there are some amazing boats moored, would definitely book again.

Staff were great at this hotel, nothing was too much trouble. Tom stood out to us and really went the extra mile, he is an asset. Breakfast was lovely and the location is excellent. Our bedroom looked newly refurbished, was very clean, had a brand new bathroom recently and could see the sea from our room.

We booked via *********** and got a reasonable rate for an (King bed) room for 3 nights from 2nd July. I was pleasantly surprised by how large the room(King bed) was with a sofa and table. The 4 rating is for the room and the friendly and helpful staff NOT the hotel facilities. It did say on the hotels website that there was only Breakfast service available, not Lunch or Dinner, I didn't see that it said that there was also no bar service. One staff member did say we could still sit in the bar/lounge if we wanted. The hotel itself needs some TLC but the public areas and our room were clean, lovely large, fluffy towels

Stayed here recently for the elvis convention across the road, hotel was cheap and cheerful, nice to have a swim and jacuzzi, staff was really nice but the hotel does need updating, would i recommend...yes

Lovely hotel and amazing staff they were so helpful Nothing was too much trouble and very polite We had a fantastic spacious room With balcony It was spotless clean and because the weather was very hot provided a fan The breakfast was good with plenty of choice we sat in the lounge area with our dog I was very impressed with the hotel and very reasonable A special thankyou to Elaine and Ed who even went and bought us some oat milk for our breakfast 5 star service

The bed was great so comfy best night sleep ever no faults all friendly we would go back again very good service can vsay it was in walking distance to everwere and all great fantastic all of it very enjoyable

Lovely hotel lovely staff didnt spend much time here has was out all the time would recomend rooms compfy and fair size good location very fast check in didnt have breakfast has was too dear .weather was good
