"This is clearly a long-established resort hotel in Mt. Tsukuba, situated halfway up the mountain with unobstructed south-facing views that extend all the way to Tokyo Skytree. The onsen (hot spring) is located on the rooftop, perfect for soaking while watching the sunset or sunrise. Dinner and breakfast are typical Japanese kaiseki meals, exquisite and delicious. Although the hotel facilities are old, the rooms are being gradually renovated and are clean, tidy, and well-organized. Behind the hotel are Mt. Tsukuba Shrine and the cable car leading up the mountain."

"This was my first time staying here, but it's a hotel I'd definitely like to return to. Since my check-out time was early, it would have been helpful if I could have used the parking lot in front of the building. Because it was so early in the morning, there was no shuttle service to the lower parking lot... However, aside from that, I was very satisfied and would like to return again."
