"Wspaniały pobyt z historycznym akcentem Wspaniale bawiliśmy się w Akademihotellet! Lokalizacja jest idealna – w samym sercu Uppsali, tuż obok uniwersytetu i katedry, a do wszystkich atrakcji można dojść pieszo. Szczególnie zaimponowała nam bogata historia budynku: niegdyś mieszkali tu wybitni naukowcy, co nadało pobytowi wyjątkową atmosferę. Cały zespół był wyjątkowo przyjazny i pomocny – od momentu przyjazdu czuło się gościnność. Prawdziwym atutem była bezpłatna kawa i herbata dostępna przez całą dobę, z których bardzo chętnie korzystaliśmy, szczególnie po spacerach po mieście. Śniadanie było obfite, świeże i pyszne – ze wszystkim, czego można sobie życzyć. Krótko mówiąc: przytulny, zabytkowy hotel ze świetnym zespołem i wieloma przemyślanymi detalami. Gorąco polecam – chętnie tu wrócimy!"

"We were in room 218 on the first floor, ie not the ground floor. This accommodation is like a dark, gloomy institution. Everything was painted dark grey in our room. There was no lighting above the hob so you could barely see what you were doing. Because it was directly looked into by flats across a lane, we had to keep the blinds closed most of the time. It was very sparsely provisioned and furnished. It felt bare and comfortless. The “sharp” knives were blunt. And no ice cube tray! The wash hand basin in the bathroom was cracked. One bath towel and one tiny guest towel (27 x 46 cms) per person were provided. I hung my bath towel on the hook in the bathroom- and the hook fell off the wall! There was no electrical plug near a mirror. So if you are a girl who likes to dry her hair in front of the mirror, this place is not for you. We were disturbed at 4am by youths talking loudly under our window and climbing on the wire fence. On the plus side, there is easy free parking and a communal laundry room with washing machines for your use. The bed sheets were very nice. The shower room was a decent size. The staff were communicative and helpful."

"It is a business hotel, right across the road from the railway station and walking distance to the bus station. Stayed at this place upon arrival by train from Stockholm. Could walk to University of Uppsala for my meeting. Also bus to SLU for visit. Lots of eateries nearby. Also took a chance to see the nearby sights."
