This hotel complex consists of 7 cave houses, 40 rooms, and a 19th century Greek Mansion. Our room (143) contained a tv, fan, phone (not sure if it worked), 2 bottled water per day, coffee & tea supplies with a kettle, free toiletries & free wifi that we were able to connect to outside of the room. Our room was one of the largest in our tour group, so we had a sofa and a desk and chair. Like all hotels there aren’t enough towel racks to hang the used towels to dry. The included breakfast was the 2nd worse of the hotels we stayed at during the tour which surprised everyone since the hotel is considered a luxury one. The breakfast consisted of very dry breads and pastries, cereal, yogurt, dried & fresh fruits, cold cuts, various cheeses, Turkish dishes, and juice & coffee. There was no made to order dishes, and everything was bland. It was something that you would expect at a budget hotel, not a higher end one. There is a rooftop bar which we didn’t go to. All of the lower rooms are connected by the rooftop terraces which offered gorgeous views of the town below as well as the cliffs. Plenty of stairs to climb.

The coolest experience I’ve ever had. Rooms and suites definitely out of the ordinary yet very comfortable. Lots of amazing views. Food was very good. If you have mobility issues please request a room/suite without stairs and easy access to toilet as well as easy walk to reception and restaurant. We had a great stay.

Wow what a hotel (best in the area) according to our guide. If you are looking for an Instagram worthy place to stay this is it. Every corner offers an even better shot. Rooms are comfortable - a little dark, and temperature hard to control - but what can you expect it’s a cave hotel. We visited in April so the temperature was mild, can’t imaging staying there in the heat of summer when the caves warm up - might feel like you are in an oven. Restaurant was good (but $$$$) with food very yummy. Staff not so friendly, but it seems everywhere across Kapadokya it’s the same - the music in the terrace bar is a bit extreme and not for the faint hearted (think obscene deep rap) made us laugh as it didn’t match the ambiance of the area especially when the Muezzin proclaims the call to the daily prayer. But don’t let that stop you from staying here. In case you are not aware of it and if planning a trip to fly in the balloons they don’t fly everyday - so don’t be disappointed if they don’t - still worth a visit if you stay at Yunak Evleri - the cave hotel - it is something magical.

Excellent service and attention by their staff. We had a problem with one of our dinners and the manager gave us a solution very quickly. Looking forward to coming back in the future. Highly recommended hotel with beautiful rooms, good food and even better staff.

Yunak Evleri is one of the most exceptional hotels we have ever stayed at. The hotel’s design, atmosphere, furniture, and location make it unbeatable. We enjoyed our time there so much and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Cappadocia who wants to experience an authentic cave hotel experience. I also highly recommend the breakfast; it’s perfect.
