We had a lovely stay at Lizzy Wasi in Urubamba. The accomodations were wonderful and the grounds were perfect for relaxin in after a morning of touring. Inti and Kelly in the office were GREAT. The onsite restuarant was very good. We made friends with the resident alpacas. We highly recommend Lizzy Wasi!

During my visit to Peru in July 2023, I had the pleasure of staying at Lizzy Wasi Urubamba with friends, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The hotel boasts a beautiful garden that complements its stunning scenic views, creating a perfect backdrop for relaxation and tranquility. The staff and management at Lizzy Wasi were exceptionally polite and provided superb hospitality, making us feel right at home. Their attention to detail and genuine care enhanced our stay, making it not just comfortable but genuinely relaxing and homely. The serene environment, combined with top-notch service, made our stay at Lizzy Wasi Urubamba a highlight of our trip to Peru. We left feeling grateful and refreshed, carrying with us fond memories of a peaceful retreat. Thank you for such a delightful experience!

Beautiful setting and excellent service. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Food was excellent. Rooms pretty comfortable although a bit of noise from the surrounding village due to a religious festival while we were there. The alpacas were cute. Thanks to Inti for helping us with our train tickets and everything else! Highly recommend!

What a nice retreat from crazy tourism and traffic. Took an extra day to just relax in the middle of our vacation and glad we did. Nice to recharge, just enjoy the peace of this quiet and lovely place, walk to a genuine Peruvian town (market was great). Food on sight in little restaurant, good breakfast included, Got a massage there on-site. The rooms are pretty basic but have what you need. Grounds are beautiful and spacious with hammocks, an exercise room, alpacas as pets, covered places outdoors to read and relax. Machu Picchu train town is about 45 minutes away and that town is nuts.

The Most Amazing Grounds & Service in Urubamba!! My Husband and I came in 2019 and the place is even better (though I wouldn't have seen how that was possible) in 2024. This small, secluded hotel has expanded to include Jaccuzzi, sauna and massage on top of their existing yoga/exercise space, restaurant/bar complete with pizza oven, library & outdoor communal spaces as well as extensive, beautiful gardens with hammocks. The innkeepers are amazing: Hermano, Kelly, & Inti were so accommodating. They arranged transport from the airport in Cusco, then on other days out to the ruins and sites at Pisac, Maras, & Moray as well as to the train station in Ollantaytambo for our trip to Machu Picchu. The restaurant serves excellent food-made to order. A fantastic way to relax into your vacation with excellent service from Moises, Erica, and all the other team members. We've met both the owners (Lizzy last trip and Bill this time). What delightful people! They are truly interested in your best experience and highlighting the best of the local sites and opportunities. If you only go to one place in Peru--come to Lizzy Wasi!!

This was my second trip to Lizzy Wasi. We stayed four days, and the service could not have been better. The staff was attentive to our every need. Breakfast each morning was wonderful. Staff arranged all our transport needs to get us to Pisac and Ollantaytambo. I would never consider staying anywhere else in Urubamba other than Lizz Wasi. We got to meet one of the owners (Bill). He suggested a number of things to do which were not on our original agenda. I can't say enough good thing about this place and the staff.

Excellent hotel. All the staff from the hotel manager, housekeeping, food service and grounds keepers were friendly and helpful. Felt like home. Food was really good as well. Managers offered suggestions on things to see and do, arranged drivers for our outings, etc. was perfect. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent room - spacious, nice balcony overlooking beautiful gardens Excellent restaurant on the property - no need to leave. Very helpful staff. Arranged nice car for us for Moray, Salinas (DON'T MISS IT), and on to Cuzco. A not as nice place in Ollantaytambo cost twice as much, and it is only $10 away by taxi.

If you love to get the feel of Peru away from Cusco, Urubamba and Lizzy Wasi is the way. I loved this hotel. When the gates opened, it was love at first sight. The staff is phenomenal, and the room was fantastic. It’s Quiet and relaxing. It was such a nice getaway and riding the tuk tuks into town was great fun.
