"First the positives. Beautiful location and grounds, very nice old buildings, spacious rooms, very good food, very friendly check-in staff. A few negatives. There is no air conditioning so I would be concerned about staying there in July and August if you like your room cool. The pool is not heated and quite cool until you get used to it. The flies around the pool are very annoying. And our female server at dinner was not very friendly."

"This place was amazing! Serene, restful, beautiful views of gorgeous scenery! Then the food at Villa Campestri, owned by same owners, is a five- minute walk. Brunch is an amazing assortment of foods, eaten on a terrace of more views and peaceful surroundings. Dinner is a delightful choice. Try the olive oil, chocolate cake for dessert! Inside our apartment inside Podere di Moiata it was again another comfortable, tranquil spot with local materials used for the furnishings as well as other antique treasures and a fantastic shower! Gemma and Viola make the entire experience one to be remembered and to come back to again and again. We have been to Villa Campestri 3 times, but adding on Podere di Moiata was an experience we cannot wait to repeat- maybe for a month next time! Thank you!"
