"Beautiful newly converted hotel with a half dozen rooms. It’s nicely renovated with a common kitchen with complimentary coffee and teas. The shower and air conditioning work great as well. The room we reserved has two bunk beds for smaller kids. The rooms look just like the photos. We were the second people to rent the room. Logistically the host meets you at the front door and gives you the door code which you use for the front door as well as the door to your room. Overall an elevated experience!"

"If you want a quintessential Quinta stay, you’ll feel Quinta da Estrada meets your desires. No, it is not a glitzy resort. No sign out front. Bus tours don’t stop here. It is a farm with rooms, not a hotel. But that is part of the charm. You can get a good, unpretentious room and a solid breakfast. Send a WhatsApp in advance to their phone number to inquire about dinner, which offers two choices of entree each night. Luis and his staff work to make the place special. There is no one manning a 24x7 front desk, but on arriving at about 6:15pm, I found a staff member who called Luis, who came to greet us. He gave us solid advice for touring the area. On our second night he hosted a wine tasting, with three of the Quinta’s wines and two ports. It was very informative as we learned about winemaking in this ancient region. Resort: no. Spa: no. Glitzy: no. True Quinta Experience: YES."
