We needed a hotel the night before our trip to Efeteling, so this ticked all the boxes, as it was an easy short drive to the Theme Park. Fletcher Hotels never disappoint when we visit The Netherlands. The hotel easily exceeded our expectations. It's in a leafy, residential street in a pretty little town. The church bells from across the street though might get on your nerves a bit if you're trying to settle down for the night. We arrived during a ”heatwave” and the lack of air conditioning in the room made for a somewhat sticky night. Parking is plentiful, either across the street or at the side of the hotel. There is a large 'Jumbo' supermarket at the end of the street (easy 10 min walk), which was a bonus so we could stock up and not be subjected to paying 'Theme Park prices' for snacks the following day! The grounds of the hotel are well kept and the hotel itself was clean, as was our room. It was nice to sit outside with some bar drinks. The bar itself was well stocked with some excellent beers at very reasonable prices. Staff are warm, welcoming and very hard working.

We spent 2 days in this top hotel last weekend. Super friendly staff all 1 for 1 topper. I had 2 rooms and I had a request upon arrival, they immediately went to see what was possible. The rooms were again super clean. The breakfast is very varied and when a fresh product is almost finished, new ones are made right away, even if you are the last to have breakfast, big names can learn something from that. We also enjoyed sitting on the terrace for a few hours. There was a nice cooling breeze in front of the hotel. And although it was quite busy with arrivals, we were wonderfully spoiled by Senna and Ralf our host and lady these days we were there. These great guys kept a close eye on us to make sure we weren't short of anything. We had a wonderful stay here again right in the center of Den Bosch. And have immediately re-booked for next year. And we will probably go again soon. PS I read in the reviews whole stories about parking that it is expensive for 1 day. But sorry you are parked in the middle of the center in a shopping street covered. That you park there is a choice. We always park at a p&r go by bus with our suitcase after the center you get out 100m from the hotel and you are parked for 4.50 per 24 hours. So you can make it as expensive as you want. We prefer to spend those 20 euros on the terrace.

Convenient location, clean and spacious, cost-effective. Hotel service is also very good, that is, sound insulation is not good. There is a very good bar on the roof and the view is great. Recommended stay

I stayed here with my wife and adult daughter for four nights. We found it very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is surrounded by woods and lakes. As well as dining in the hotel we tried several of the restaurants next door to the hotel and in Oisterwijk. There is plenty to see in the neighbourhood, such as Kasteel Nemelaer, where we enjoyed delicious hazelnut meringues or the Loonse and Drunense Duinen landscape, a large area of sand-dunes. The car park leaves a lot to be desired, but otherwise a most enjoyable break.

When staying at the hotel we couldn’t fault it. Children stay free if sharing a room, and we had booked to visit Efteling. We didn’t realise but our stay coincided with carnival, for this reason I think we were allocated a room at the back of the hotel (as I can imagine those front facing would be very noisy - there is a huge stage directly in front of the hotel at this time, as well as many food vans and outside bars etc - not that any of this worried us). So our room was on the 5th floor at the rear with a direct view of the multi story car park! (But we didn’t book for a view!). The room was well equipped with a comfy bed and a seperate shower and toilet. Everything was very clean. The only issue I would say regarding the rooms is that they were very dark so it was hard to see your items in the wardrobe. Not a big deal! The staff on reception were really helpful and chatty, and gave us lots of advice. It’s super easy to reach Efteling from here, we walked to the coach station (just by the train station) and there were regular buses. Again children travel free. You could walk to the station in about 10-15 mins. The shopping streets are very close to the hotel, and nice for a stroll - plenty of places to eat etc. we enjoyed backwerk bakery just a couple of shops down from the hotel, they did fresh smoothies and juices and lovely fresh sandwiches. Perfect for brunch/lunch. There is a Taco Bell next to the hotel! My son wanted to try it but we didn’t get chance! The issue for us came out check out, our flight wasn’t until the evening so we asked to use the secure luggage room for our case so we could enjoy our last day. We came back to the hotel to pick up our bag, and make our way to the airport. I was let in to the luggage room to get our case, but it had gone. The staff didn’t know what to do, apart from check and speak to other staff members. Eventually I asked to see the manager as we really needed to leave (fortunately we had been sensible and kept our passports and money etc on us). And I was asking for something in writing to say they had “lost” our case - as I didn’t feel comfortable just leaving with no proof (they also wanted to take the luggage receipts - I think because they wanted to figure out what had happened). The manager was “checking the CCTV” but upon our second request did come out and see us. She did apologise for the case going missing (after a long time!! More hearing about how strange this was?!?) and said if it “wasn’t found” they would replace it. At this point I was getting concerned about travelling home without any of our things, especially with my son, for example some warmer clothes, his switch!! I felt the customer service here was lacking, there was no gesture here - could they assist us getting to the airport for example - She did offer to go to the shop but by this point we were cutting it so fine to get to the airport / which we said to her! It is convenient to get to the hotel, the bus stop is not far away, near McDonald's. The room is large enough, cozy. The sleigh is clean. Breakfast until 10:30. I didn't like it on the first day, it was great on the second day. The staff is kind. Hotel recommended)

The hotel is located in the centre of the city, making it easy to discover this beautiful city. You can also lose your car in the parking garage opposite the hotel for a more price. The room was clean and spacious enough for two people. We experienced the bed and kiss as comfortable. Some of the no minpoints are: - The box had only a hang and no plates to put your folded clothing on. - The room had no balcony, only a window that could only open on the kissing stand - The view from the room was not great, we looked at the parking garage Despite these weaknesses, we have enjoyed our stay! The breakfast was extensive, there's some good things between them, everything was fresh and it looked pretty. I am also very pleased to say that the Commission has not been able to make a proposal for a directive on the protection of the environment in the Community. In general, this hotel is a recommendation if you look for a room near the city!

What a great hotel ! Excellent staff , accommodation and dining . By far the best hotel I have stayed in in the Netherlands - and I have stayed in a few . All of the staff I met were at the top of their game and were ultra polite , smart and helpful . Brilliant teamwork .

Not a fan of leaving negative reviews but sharing facts. Did not receive email prior to arrival with details so I had to call first and received email with front door code. Upon arrival we received no email with room nr. Check in was self service with iPad and activating a key, that’s where you find out what room you are in. Very small room for price and not what you see online, (overpriced difficult to move around in) squeeky AC making it difficult to sleep crackling every 20 seconds. Bathroom extremely small and cold, no central heating in room. Could not use restroom with door closed for leg space, roof is slanted and bathroom as well so you can’t stand fully in shower if you are tall. Loud / heavy doors so other visitors would wake you. Lots of stairs, no elevator. Cleanliness is okay but not spotless which you would expect. Bed cover had hole in it. There is a night shop located next door with some shady people hanging around at night which makes entering and using the code uncomfortable if you are a woman with child (like us) Centrally located. Bed was super comfortable. Bed was made after the first day which was nice. Overal would not stay again but it’s easy if you need a quick last minute central place to sleep if you are out and about during the day.
