The location is absolutely darling, a few minutes to the beachfront ( I would not want to go into the ocean though, the water is a bit dirty ), and also 10 - 15 minutes to a hiking trail. Petro House Hotel has two different buildings. One is a bit old with a bit musty cigarette smell in the lobby or in the bedroom, the new building is just next door. That's where the reception desk and breakfast place are. If one is sensitive to mold, go for the higher price rooms. Buffet breakfast is good!

Location: The hotel is located in a prime location, close to all the major attractions. It is also within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Rooms: The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The beds are large and comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious and clean. Service: The staff is friendly and helpful, and they are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The location is right at the front beach, convenient for moving. Reception staff ks enthusiastic. My room is located at the end of the block, so the hot part of the air conditioner is a bit noisy, my room only has 1 thin blanket so it's a bit cold. Stayed until the second day, the toilet was unable to drain the water, so there was a receptionist but it was not handled. Overall, it's very good, the Tet price is a bit high but still ok

When I arrived they told me at the front desk they had upgraded me to a better room at no charge. I had booked a city view room. When I unpacked and opened the curtains, I was surprised had had a view of the back parking lot and I was only on the second floor. Other that that room was fine. Breakfast is not great.

I visited the hotel during lockdown , so the swimming pool , bar and spa were all shut due to COVID . The reception area is spacious with comfortable , with a seating area , a bar and shop , plus an a** . On checking in the receptionists were polite, helpful and the process was very smooth. I was on the 4th floor sea view with a balcony , there was no chair to sit outside , but I asked house keeping and they got me one without any dramas . The room itself was dated but clean and pleasant. A large double bed , a seating coffee table area , a desk work area , fridge with kettle and hot drinks . All I needed for my stay . I also like the fact that you had a bath/ shower which made a change to most hotels . The restaurant is on the first floor , over looking the reception area by a balcony , it was only open for breakfast , food was prepared in front of you and the chef and staff were polite and professional. All other meals were served to my room and the food standards overall was very high . The menu was limited but this wasn’t a problem because I deviated from the menu and the staff would prepare meals to my choice . I’ve given the hotel 5 stars, not because of the quality of the hotel , but because of the high standards of the staff , from sales , house keeping and management, it was a different time for them all , working and living at the hotel , because of COVID restrictions. I would like to thank all staff for making my stay easier .

Very nice hotel. I booked a two-room apartment. Only one room has a bathroom with bathtub, and the other room has a bathroom in the living room. It is equivalent to a master bedroom and a second bedroom. The hotel is very close to the pier, 5 minutes by taxi. Then the 5 of us rented motorcycles directly at the front desk of the hotel for 200k a day, which was 60 RMB. Driving a motorcycle in Vung Tau was so cool! !

I've stayed at the Lotus before and loved it. However, this time when my friend and I arrived to check in for our two rooms, some important person had decided stay longer so after the first night one of us, me, had to shift to another hotel for the next two nights. We were told it would all be sorted for the last of our four nights. When I arrived back to check in for the last of our 4 nights there was still no room for me. I wasn't greatly happy with the hotel I'd stayed in for the previous two nights they put me in a better one with a great view but not much else. The crowning glory was that when I went to check out (that had to be done at the Lotus) they wanted to charge me more because the second hotel I'd stayed in was of higher quality. It took about 20 minutes to convince them that this was illogical since it was their stuff up. Not good do watch them!
