Double Tree by Hilton Hainan-Xinglong Lakeside

Glad I booked this room. The easy pool access was the highlight. We felt like we got a villa for a cheap price. The room and the pool were very clean. The service could have been better though. Like the afternoon tea at the lobby. We requested it to be delivered in the room but it was not allowed so we need to get it at the lobby. Second was the room service. There were many dishes that were not available in the menu and the staff made a mistake twice with our order. It took us an hour or so before we can finally eat our dinner. Overall, we would still want to stay here again.

Stayed in hotel for 5 days, very quite environmental and super dog friendly. Have plenty of parks to walk at, beach is around 10mins drive. Oh and this breakfast, top of the line :) Definitely worth the money spent.

Clarifying I am not a Robert. Beyond Expectations, great spirit and services. But In fact I m not really expecting anything while I decided to stay this hotel at the first beginning. However, FD Manager - Cristina and her team changed my mind. Good feeling and experience in staying 2 nights which upgraded to lake view with high floor. And the welcome coffee biscuit that my daughter loved it the most. Appreciated at all arrangements!

Good sleep, good food, good service for competitive price! I will highly recommend this hotel to international visitors as well

Highly recommended when you look for a clean hotel with good service. Beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff. Go for the room with pool access.

After visiting Xinglong Botanical Garden, we thought the Hilton would be a nice, convenient option for staying nearby. The surrounding area is very tropical, with a beautiful lake view behind the hotel. The pools and hot springs were a great place to relax after a long day of exploring. Check-In went smoothly and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a nice view of the garden and the lake. The buffet breakfast was very good. There were many different types of food available, accommodating both western and Chinese tastes. Overall, it was a great stay and I’d highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Amazing stay, definitely recommended. The hotel is clean and the balcony is sweet with lake view. I had a lil injury when i surfed so i hardly walked, The staff were amazing, from front desk Ben Huang, Megan Yan, The doorman Mark Ma, been helping on different requests, the staff from restaurant, the house ladies (i don't know their name) showed lot of cares and helps.

Staff were friendly but English was a struggle. Hotel was in a very peaceful setting. Pool and hot springs were fantastic. Would stay here again.
