Location was good enough. There is a supermarket next door but mostly need to take a car to places. Breakfast was good and room was up to standard.

When I walked through the door I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome and offered refreshments. Both members who helped with the check-in process spoke English which was very helpful. Because my luggage was so heavy an employee escorted me to my room. My room was incredibly clean and even had extra sanitary items I could use to disinfect, im a bit OCD. The hotel had great food, both Chinese and western which was delivered to your room. There was also a gym stocked with all that you need to stay fit during your stay. There is an enormous lake just five minute walk with breathtaking views which can be seen with this review. My personal favourite part of my stay was their breakfast spread. Complete with pastries, omelets, breakfast cereals etc. If I find myself in Yinchuan again, this holiday express is where ill be staying.

The hotel is surrounded by parks and has a decent-sized supermarket right next to it. It was about an 8 minute ride to Yinchuan Station, and from the north facing windows you can see the new CBD, also about 8 minutes away by taxi. The room was bright and quiet at my end of the hotel. The breakfast was substantial.

Excellent clean hotel in the city. Near a stunning lake. The breakfast is very yummy and the coffee is great. Free coffee in the lobby too. Highly recommend this hotel.

Even if it’s called Holiday Inn Downtown, the real downtown is about 30 mins far by car.
THe room is very nice, clean and modern. We were assigned a room at the 24th floor which lets you enjoy a view.
There’s free coffee machine at the reception, best service of the hotel.
In the dining room where breakfast is served there’s a kids playground, very comfortable for parents in order to forget they have kids for few minutes.
Breakfast is average according to my wife. I say there are the best chocolate croissants ever existed. Pay attention that they are kept hidden, I suppose the staff hopes they don’t get finished so they can have some too.
I had 10 of them during the last breakfast, unfortunately I was full and couldn’t eat more of them.
I have no idea why my son (2 years old) kept mentioning this hotel for days, probably he thinks it’s the best in China. I couldn’t agree more if he tried those croissants.

We had a very nice stay. The service was exceptional. Our daughter had injured her foot and the hotel let us use their house wheelchair in the hotel and around the city during our stay. The breakfast was plentiful. A good variety of foods. There is a supermarket downstairs and a pharmacy a few minutes walk away. The family room is spacious with two comfortable beds. Would definitely stay there again recommend highly.
