"On November 9th, I was rushing to catch a train. At 9:30 AM, I left my room and took the elevator, only to find seven of us trapped inside. The elevator doors were locked, the front desk was unreachable by phone, and my Didi (ride-hailing app) was delayed. After being trapped for over ten minutes, we were told it was overloaded—only seven people? The elevator was clearly marked as having a capacity of 13. When the elevator finally opened, we were about to miss our train, so we had no choice but to run down from the 6th floor, carrying our 30-pound suitcases. There were only 3-4 people at the front desk on the first floor. Could it be that 3-4 people couldn't answer the phone? Is this the kind of facility a newly opened Ji Hotel has? This was a terrible stay. It's unimaginable that such a thing could happen at a chain hotel like Ji Hotel."
