No. 21 York

Thanks for taking care of my mums 75th birthday few days stay. They enjoyed No.21, York and the wonderful hosts. We will return. The extra special touch of being able to get chocolates and Prosecco in the room made her feel very special. The until next time.

Our bed was a good size and very comfortable. The ensuite was immaculate with a nice large shower, with easily adjustable temperature. Our friends were able to check in early and spend time in the city. We missed our train but check in was easy and we joined them later. Simon was very helpful in giving us directions to our arranged meeting place. The breakfasts were pre-ordered the night before. They were wholesome and filling with home made bread and conserves. Simon was very knowledgeable about York and we followed his recommendation for a restaurant, TAAS, which was a lovely Nepalese, only a block away. The weather was good apart from our last day, which was a continuous downpour. Fortunately we did not have to trail our luggage around with us, as we visited the rail museum. Simon arranged to store it for us until our final departure in the afternoon. Access from the station is very easy, ten minutes walk. The directions given to us were precise and easy to follow.

Excellent b&b. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. Simon gave great advice on restaurants and places to visit. And we loved York! The free city tours are phenomenal. We would highly recommend people visit York and stay at No. 21 York.

We have nothing but wonderful thoughts and memories of our stay at No 21 York. Highlights were: Quality and size of rooms. Fantastic homemade breakfast. Suggestions of places to go, to see, and where to eat. Simon will even make all the arrangements if you like. We arrived unexpectedly early and Simon joyfully showed us to our room. We needed to leave early and Simon packed a breakfast for us to take along. They truly have a sincere interest in making theirs guests stay as close to perfect as possible. Thank you!

Wonderful stay as usual at the NO21. All our needs are met within this gorgeous setting. Our room is spotless and has everything we need provided. The bed is so comfortable and huge, and the addition of natural toiletries is brilliant too. All the produce is local to York which is a lovely touch. Breakfast is absolutely lovely, and Simon's homemade bread is delicious......Oh and the homemade biscuits provided in the room are also delicious.. Simon and Andrea are wonderful hosts. We love coming to our 'second home.' Would highly recommend.

What a welcoming, gracious place! Even thought we were 3 hours early, we were welcomed at the front door by Simon who got us settled in our room and then gave us spot-on touring tips for York. The coffee was great, breakfasts were delicious and all was made even better by the camaraderie in the dining room. We got to share about our York findings and learn about what others had seen and done. Simon gave us tips for where to go and what to do in London as we were on our way. Andrea and Nate (the dog) bid us a kind farewell at our departure.

Hotel near Trafalgar Square. Busy street below but double paned windows made sleeping a breeze. Close to several tubes so easy to get around London. Pubs and theaters within close walking distance. Safe area, walked alone at night-Fish and Chips at Hobson’s very good but busy-

Very comfortable b and b a short walking distance from most of the visitor sights in central York . Lovely home cooked breakfast made to order along with home made bread etc . Would recommend if visiting York and surrounding areas . Available car park is very handy although car not needed for visiting central York.

We had a great experience at No. 21 York. Great walkable neighborhood close to the train station, park and all of the York attractions. The breakfast was fantastic and Simon had so many good suggestions for tourists. Best accommodations of our 16 day trip to Great Britain.
