"This trip to Mount Putuo in Zhoushan with my friends was incredibly relaxing and comfortable, much more so than I'd anticipated, thanks to our stay at the Zen-inspired Ruyige Hotel. The hotel boasts an overall Chinese Zen design. From the moment you step into the lobby, you're enveloped in a quiet and serene atmosphere. The wooden structures, courtyard landscaping, and subtle fragrance – every detail exudes quality, making it the perfect place to find peace and unwind on Mount Putuo. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from the pier, which was very convenient. We stayed in a family room in the back mountain area this time. It was much quieter than the main building, and we had beautiful mountain views and lush greenery right outside our window. Although there was a short uphill walk, the hotel staff kindly helped with our luggage, which was a thoughtful touch. The room details also added a sense of ritual. Besides complimentary drinking water, they provided calligraphy paper, brushes, and an inkstone for copying scriptures. It was drizzling that day, so we listened to the rain and quietly copied scriptures in our room, feeling ourselves slowly calm down. The wooden bathtub and foot spa basin were also huge pluses; after soaking our feet in the evening, we slept incredibly well. The hotel also offers many experiential activities, such as scripture copying, morning and evening lessons, and sachet making, which are perfect for experiencing the Zen lifestyle of Mount Putuo at a leisurely pace with friends. What I loved most was that it's only about a seven-minute walk from the hotel to Puji Temple. Along the way, there are coffee shops and mountain scenery to enjoy, making for a very pleasant stroll and chat. I highly recommend the Yuanzhi Yuanwei restaurant directly opposite the hotel. We went twice in a row because the food was excellent. However, it gets very crowded during mealtimes on weekends, so it's best to go early. This trip to Mount Putuo with my friends wasn't about rushing through an itinerary; it was more about slowing down, quieting the mind, and savoring the present moment. I'm so glad we could spend such comfortable and healing days at Ruyige. I'd love to come back again."

Największym zaskoczeniem była prywatna wanna z gorącą wodą w pokoju, dzięki której mogliśmy kąpać się i podziwiać widoki, co tworzyło niesamowitą atmosferę! Warto również pochwalić ofertę gastronomiczną. Bufet śniadaniowy w „Shiji” był niezwykle bogaty, oferując autentyczne smaki Zhoushan, takie jak świeżo gotowany makaron z owocami morza i kasza rybna congee, a także wysokiej jakości latte z mleczną pianką. Obsługa była bez zarzutu, od zameldowania do wymeldowania wszyscy pracownicy byli entuzjastyczni i pomocni. Hotel oferuje również Angsana Spa, kryty basen z podgrzewaną wodą i klub dla dzieci, co czyni go idealnym miejscem zarówno dla par, jak i rodzin z dziećmi. Krótko mówiąc, to hotel, z którego nie chce się wyjeżdżać, gorąco polecam!"

If you're heading back to the hotel afterwards, I'd suggest making Shancai Cave your last stop. You can take a taxi to Dacheng'an and it's an even shorter walk back from there."

"The weather was bad, so we skipped the famous night market and opted for the hotel buffet instead. We were very satisfied, it was excellent value for money. Guests also received a discount, and the front desk gave us a welcome fruit voucher upon check-in. The lobby bar staff were all very friendly; I even ordered a coffee when I went to pick up the fruit, and it was quite fragrant. There were also many cultural and creative products to browse. The bedding in the room was dry and tidy. Personally, I was very happy with this stay and would recommend this hotel to everyone."

"Don't be fooled by the name 'resort village,' it's more like a guesthouse with a nice environment. We went there with our kids during the May Day holiday. I didn't pay close attention and thought it was a hotel with plenty of public areas. In reality, it's located in a villa complex, basically a collection of villas. The decor is like an all-season style, and while the price is usually around two to three hundred, it shot up to almost a thousand during May Day. We stayed for two nights. It's newly renovated, so the facilities are quite new, and it's very clean. They offer one-on-one butler service, and they respond quickly if you need anything delivered. The breakfast is pretty standard, but then again, many hotels in Zhoushan don't even offer breakfast."

"This hotel was chosen by my friends. Parking is available at the door of the hotel. The place is also easy to find. The price-performance ratio is very high. It is not very friendly for people with poor sleep quality. The sheets have holes and there are stains on the mattress. It is recommended to improve! The breakfast variety is quite complete and OK!"

"This was my second stay, and it's super close to Banshengdong Wharf. There are tons of great restaurants nearby, I'd recommend Gaojia Zhuang, Xiaoxixi, and Yuanwei Yuanzhi. There's also a fast-charging station right next door. The breakfast was pretty good, and the staff were all very friendly and enthusiastic. They have an excellent laundry room, and parking is convenient and free. Definitely worth coming back to!"

"The family room (3211) was well-equipped, and the hotel's shuttle service was a thoughtful touch. The cleaning staff was efficient and thorough; I definitely want to give her a good review. We checked into the loft on June 10th, and as soon as we entered, we noticed how clean the floor was, with no hair anywhere. The tabletops and stair treads were also spotless. The room was a bit small, but that wasn't an issue – cleanliness and tidiness are our top priorities. (Hair dryer: It only operates when you hold the handle, safety first!) (Toilet: Disposable seat covers are provided.) The dehumidifier was very effective, collecting a full bucket of water every day. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and there were no mosquitoes. A very satisfying stay; we'll definitely come back."
