We are Malaysian & can speak mandarin. Don’t worry if you’re non-chinese speaker, they will try their best to communicate with you. Sonzhuju Coffee & Tea Holiday Villa is convenient for those who bring big luggage. They have a service to help carry your luggage too, from the main road (approx 170m). And please let them know once you arrived at the main road! The hotel is away from loud noise & busy from the main area. Cosy place & strategic for us staying in 3D2N. The room was clean. Breakfast included, but for Muslims, please mention that you’re Muslim, then they will prepare you veggie options. And you can choose to have your meal in your room or their eating area.

Ai Fei, a local host from the hotel, was very helpful in arranging our customised tour trip. We texted the hotel via WeChat 8–9 days prior to our arrival in Lijiang. We asked if there was any local there who could advise us on the trip and straightaway they made a group for discussion. He'd make sure that we were all okay & happy to discuss our plan to visit any area that we would like to go to. He arranged our private car trip to JDSM & Blue Moon Valley and brought the ticket for us too. Upon we'd arrived at the hotel, he served us a welcome tea, fruit and flower cake. From the next morning we are going to JDSM & Blue Moon Valley. He advised us on what the do’s and don't prior to our trip. The private driver that he helped arrange for us was also very helpful & patient to ensure that we felt safe going to the place (group chat). He also helped to arrange a private car for us to Shangri-la. Overall, he made our plan and trip smoothly.

As for the Muslims, you can ask him or the hotel host to recommend where the nearest Muslim restaurant they will definitely find for you.
Overall, definitely recommend staying here. We are happy with our stay here.

The hotel is really well situated, close to the Ancient Town. From the Dali's Railway Station, you can take the bus 8 (~1h & ¥3). Electric scooters were available for rental (¥60 a day for one person) which makes it very convenient to visit Dali and access the Three Pagodas. You can also leave your baggage after check-out. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Miłe i przytulne miejsce na pobyt i ciepłe powitanie od gospodarza, to miejsce jest prowadzone przez rodzinę i naprawdę pomocne z naszym bagażem, rezerwacją podróży i odwiezieniem na lotnisko. Lokalizacja jest dobra dla kogoś, kto ma samochód, odległość spacerowa 400-500 m do starego miasta, ładny wystrój w stylu *******. 3-piętrowy dom, może nie być odpowiedni dla osób starszych z małymi i stromymi schodami, moja mama miała trochę trudności z chodzeniem w górę i w dół. Łóżko jest bardzo wygodne, ogrzewanie podłogowe i ciepła woda. Pyszne jedzenie i koty! Chociaż mieliśmy problemy z komunikacją (nie mówię po chińsku, a oni nie mówią po angielsku), użyliśmy w tym celu aplikacji do tłumaczeń i wszystko poszło dobrze. PS. Obecnie pobliski plac budowy może hałasować wczesnym rankiem.

Leżąc, podziwiałem widok na Jinszan w blasku wschodzącego słońca! To było naprawdę niesamowite! Mogę tylko powiedzieć, że rezerwacja tego pokoju była najlepszą decyzją, jaką podjęłam. Zaraz po złożeniu zamówienia, właściciel zadzwonił do nas, wyjaśniając drogę. Po dotarciu na Górę Lwów, odebrał nas, pomógł z bagażami i zaserwował przepyszną herbatę Dianhong. Po zameldowaniu wysłał nam wiele propozycji ciekawych miejsc do zwiedzania. Obsługa była po prostu bez zarzutu. Wyposażenie pokoju było super inteligentne, a pobyt bardzo komfortowy. Co więcej, właściciel zrobił nam upgrade pokoju, dzięki czemu mogłam podziwiać widok na Jinszan w blasku wschodzącego słońca, leżąc w łóżku! Było to super piękne i zapierające dech w piersiach! Hotel znajduje się w samym sercu starego miasta, więc wystarczyło zrobić kilka kroków, aby zacząć zwiedzanie. Łączy w sobie piękno i wygodę. Otrzymaliśmy również: 【Ręcznie robione ciasteczka kwiatowe Naxi Fat Jinmei】: pachnące Oraz powitalne owoce i podwieczorek z widokiem na zaśnieżone góry: tym razem piłam herbatę Pu-erh, a przy wyjeździe dostaliśmy w prezencie duży zestaw grzybów. To było wspaniałe doświadczenie, na pewno zatrzymam się tutaj ponownie, kiedy następnym razem przyjadę do Lijiang 😍

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful 2-night stay here. The hotel is located inside Lijiang Ancient Town, which made the experience even more special. The owner kindly picked us up along with our big luggage. It was such a fun ride—we honestly enjoyed it so much haha. During check-in, we were welcomed with an orange, which was a very sweet and thoughtful gesture. The owner was extremely helpful throughout our stay. He assisted us with renting traditional costumes and arranging a photography session around Lijiang Ancient Town, which made our trip even more memorable. After we came back from Yulong Snow Mountain, the owner also gave us very thoughtful advice. He reminded us not to shower immediately and to take some time to relax first, explaining that showering right away could cause altitude sickness or even a cold due to the sudden temperature change. We really appreciated this care and concern for our well-being. What we felt most grateful for was the kindness shown to us regarding our laundry. When we asked if there was a washing machine, they said yes, and we managed to start the first wash cycle before heading out. When we returned at night, all our clothes had already been washed and were ready for us to hang. We were shy and happy at the same time 😆 because otherwise, we would have had to stay up late just to settle our laundry. Overall, this stay felt very warm and personal—almost like being taken care of by family. Truly a memorable experience, and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lijiang Ancient Town.

The hotel is perfectly located right in the middle of the old town, next to one of the main streets. The room was very spacious and fully furnished, however it was quite cold during the night, despite the AC running. The host was super friendly, and available to help with anything. He even invited several guests to have dinner and spend the evening together, which was one of the most memorable moments of my trip. Really recommend staying there

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Lijiang Old Town. The location is absolutely perfect—very convenient for exploring the ancient city and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The room was very clean and comfortable, and everything was well-maintained. I especially loved the peaceful atmosphere and the charming traditional style of the house. The service was excellent—the host was friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. All the amenities provided were sufficient and made our trip even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Lijiang. Definitely a memorable stay!

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The owner is incredibly warm, kind, and welcoming — he even personally helped carry our luggage all the way to the room, which truly made us feel cared for. The hotel is spotless, very well maintained, and extremely comfortable. Everything exceeded my expectations. I highly, highly recommend this place to anyone visiting. The hotel was in a very convenient and prime location just at the entrance of Dali Ancient City. There are a lot of food options and convenience stores just right outside the hotel both during the day and at night. The service was inpeccable, with the hotel owner helping to carry my luggage to my room or to the car, or to help me with transport arrangements etc. The room was also clean and cosy, with all the listed amenities. Would recommend for sure!

We stayed here based on a recommendation of a French couple we met during our trip. And we’re glad we did! The host is so friendly, he made us feel very welcome. We loved his tea ceremony! The room and location were great as well. His son was very helpful and friendly when we needed transport to the busstation.
