Located on part of the Birmingham University campus in Edgbaston so good location for academic conferences / visiting the university, also short distance to dental hospital, cricket ground, tennis centre etc. Plenty of free parking including blue badge and EV charging. Check-in was quick and efficient. Angela, who checked us in, was friendly and helpful. There is a large bar which serves smaller meals throughout the day and also a restaurant in the evening. The bar food was average price for hotel food (£12+ for sandwich with some soup)  and average quality. Room was clean and tidy, with modern decor. It was very spacious and well equipped with seating and table, ironing board, plenty of pillows, pod coffee machine and plenty of coffee pods, tea bags etc. Black out blinds worked well and there was minimal noise from other rooms / corridor. Would definitely stay again if in the Edgebaston / Birmingham area. 

I had a very pleasant stay at B&B Hotel Birmingham. The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to access the city centre, public transport, shops, and restaurants. It’s a great choice for both business and leisure travellers. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with a good bed and all the basic amenities needed for a short or long stay. The bathroom was tidy and well maintained, and housekeeping did a good job throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The hotel also offers good value for money compared to other hotels in the area. Overall, B&B Hotel Birmingham provides a comfortable, affordable, and hassle-free stay. I would definitely recommend it and would consider staying here again in the future.

Came a long way to stay for couple of days for a wedding. Big reunion w some friends from around the globe. Pros: Hotel is at the great location. Lots of food option at Touchwood Mall opposite the hotel. Hotel food are quite reasonable too. Staffs at the lounge & breakfast are Fantastic. They are friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and bed are comfy. Cons: Reception should be better. We were attended by Josh during check in and he is not friendly and helpful when few enquiry asked. A friend of mine (a couple) was assigned to a room which AC wasn’t working. And when asked for a room changed, he said its not available. He mentioned that it was an ongoing problem and offered them a fan instead. How is that possible they are still selling a dysfunctional room to a guest when they know its an issue! But if they want an upgrade, they can but they have to pay £13!! I think its bizarre! My friends was stucked to the same room till the end of her stay w a FAN! Overall I am happy with the stay but i need to rant about the room assignment. Its common sense.

The hotel is ideally located bear the NEC Birmingham. We were there for an event, and combined it with a visit to our daughter in uni in the city. The amenaties were excelkent. Had dinner in the restaurant both nights. Food was of a high standard and reasonably priced. Woukd stay here again.

I had a really lovely stay at this hotel and would happily go back. The room was spotless, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, which made it easy to actually relax. Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful without being overbearing, and check-in/check-out was quick and smooth. The location was super convenient, close to everything I needed but still felt calm. Overall, great value for money and a very easy, pleasant stay.

Very clean and spacious room with great bathroom facilities also.

Mieliśmy fantastyczne pobyt w nocy. wspaniały personel, który chciał pomóc bardzo dbającą i zrozumienie bardzo pomocne przez cały czas, gdy tam byliśmy. śniadanie było niesamowite. Jestem bardzo wspaniale przedstawiony tym wszystkim, czego chciałeś, i wszystko ładnie pokazane i absolutnie wspaniale czyste, a pracownicy byli świetni więc Wood wrócić podziękować. The food served at the hotel was adequate, nothing particularly remarkable but certainly passable for a short stay. The menu offered standard fare typical of what one might expect from a chain hotel restaurant. What truly stands out about this establishment is its strategic location. For those with early morning flights or late arrivals, the proximity to the airport terminals makes this Ibis an eminently practical choice. In summary, whilst the Ibis Birmingham Airport - NEC won't win any awards for luxury or fine dining, it serves its purpose admirably as an airport hotel. If you're looking for a convenient, comfortable place to rest before or after a flight, this hotel fits the bill perfectly. A sensible choice for airport accommodation.

Exceptional service for a half board stay on weekday that offered a tasty 3-course dinner and breakfast in such a premium hotel with pool, gym room, steam room and sauna! Definitely worth to come again and again!

The location of the hotel is perfect. We planned to visit the Christmas market, so it was just a few mins walk from the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable it only felt too warm at night and hardly to sleep well. Already put the lowest temperature but still feel a bit too warmed. The breakfast was great and convenient for all the guests who stayed there.
