My overall stay exceeded expectations. The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient access to transportation. The room was spacious, bright, and very clean, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. The temperature and humidity inside were just right. The facilities were comprehensive; a soak in the hot springs was incredibly relaxing and helped ease the fatigue after hiking. The service was meticulous, thoughtful, and prompt. I had a very pleasant stay throughout my trip and would give it five stars. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Changbai Mountain. The service was very attentive, and they even gave me a small gift.

This is an excellent hotel with incredibly warm and attentive service! Firstly, it's the closest hotel to the old mountain gate, just a 2-minute walk away, so we didn't have to queue at all during the National Day holiday. Secondly, they offer high-speed rail pick-up and drop-off throughout our stay, and can also take us to nearby attractions. Thirdly, the breakfast was amazing! The restaurant staff were very enthusiastic and proactively asked if we needed anything. The ginseng chicken soup, noodles, dumplings, and wontons were all delicious and plentiful, perfect for us southerners. Fourthly, a dedicated butler was provided. Butler Li Chao was incredibly responsible and always ready to help with anything. Fifthly, all the front desk staff were wonderful. They helped with our luggage and reservations, and the service was exceptional. They even upgraded us to a family room when they saw I was traveling with two elderly family members, which I really appreciate. Sixthly, the hot springs were superb, and we could book them anytime. Seventhly, there's a food court right next door, making dining very convenient. The stone pot bibimbap, stir-fried pork with kimchi, and BBQ were all delicious. Eighthly, the hotel provided complimentary access to the Volcanic Stone Forest attraction, river trekking, and ginseng digging, all of which were a lot of fun and suitable for the whole family. My family had a fantastic time, and we'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Changbai Mountain.

SONG JIANG BONANZA WINNING HOTEL — From Smoke Signals to Sacred Silence Arrival & First Sniff This old dog finally flopped down in Jilin City, relieved to rest my paws at the grandly named Song Jiang Bonanza Winning Hotel. “Winning,” I thought—until my non-smoking room greeted me with a stale tobacco haze. One whiff and I nearly cancelled the stay on the spot. Room Rescue Cue Mr Hong Dejian—calm, English-speaking, and clutching the keys to redemption. He patiently showed me alternative rooms until we found one that didn’t smell like a poker night. Had I left, I would’ve missed what came next. Comfort Food = Home Dinner delivered a miracle: stewed chicken with potatoes and mushrooms. One bite and—boom—mummy’s cooking. After days on the road, I finally found food in China that tasted like home. Tail wagging resumed. Care Beyond the Call Mr Hong returned with a portable heater, pointed out city landmarks, and even taught me how to take a non-reflective photo (yes, this dog learns fast). His easy friendliness softened the edges of dirty window panes and mostly Mandarin-only staff. I even showed him the ink-black towel after wiping the window—evidence, not barking. Menu Meltdown & A Win At the restaurant, I was handed a Chinese-only menu after saying I don’t speak Mandarin. I hit the roof. To their credit, reception listened: I received a call from the lady boss, and the issue was acknowledged. Then a hero appeared—the restaurant lady, who patiently translated dish names so I could choose lunch and dinner without guesswork. Gold bone earned. City Interlude: Jilin Catholic Church Between meals and meetings, I visited Jilin Catholic Church (吉林耶稣圣心堂)—a quiet pause from hotel hiccups. The church offered a moment of stillness, a reminder that even on a bumpy stay, the city holds pockets of grace. Logistics That Worked Back at the desk, the reception lady manager efficiently arranged my transport to Wusong Island—quick, competent, and reassuring. Breakfast & The Fine Print Breakfast surprised me in the best way: healthy, balanced, a thoughtful mix of local and Western dishes. One final bone to chew—early booking didn’t pay off as prices dropped later. A truly Winning Hotel would honour the lower rate at check-in. Verdict Despite communication bumps, this is a solid winter hideout: good Songhua River views, comforting food, and fast service when it counts. The experience at Sheraton Changbaishan Wanda was fantastic! The hotel is ideally located right within the resort area, making it very convenient for getting around and exploring. The room was spacious and clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the mountain view was absolutely stunning. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. It's a perfect choice for families traveling with children. The overall resort feel was excellent, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Changbaishan.

The owner was very hospitable, and there were always drivers available at the entrance who were ready to answer any questions or help with travel plans. The aunties at the hot springs were also very warm and helped with towels. The indoor bath was cleaned daily, and overall, everything was quite good. The only issue was that the toilet wasn't clean upon check-in, but the front desk attendant came quickly to address it. Overall, it was a good experience, and I recommend it.

The good side: the environment is quiet, the pillows are comfortable, by the river, it is good to walk after dinner. Not very good aspect: do not clean, come back the next evening and find that the bed in the house is not cleaned up, the wet bath towels in the bathroom are not taken away, the ~ is a simple supplement of disposable dental appliances. There is no phone in the room to contact the front desk. There is a machine with a red button. There is no sound. If you have something, you have to use your mobile phone to find the contact information through the website to call. The front desk said on the first day that we pressed it. Not enough, we pressed it for a long time and didn't respond. The next day, I passed by the front desk and gave feedback. The front desk called to ask them about the interior, and then said that the machine in this room was bad and could not be repaired. If you can't repair it, you will be finished. It seems that you knew it was broken before and didn't think about repairing it. Breakfast time 7-9, the type of food is relatively simple, 8 o'clock to some food to eat can not be served, dumplings are cold, but the taste is not bad, like the taste of handmade at home.

The room was clean and hygienic, very close to all the surrounding commercial areas, and there were many great food options nearby. On the first floor, there's free coffee and a Korean ethnic clothing experience. For extended stays, they offer room cleaning, which was a nice touch. Overall, my experience was excellent! 👍🏻

This hotel is located within the Enduli scenic area, right next to Autumn Duck Park, making it very pleasant for a stroll. There are also many dining options outside the scenic area, which are more affordable and tastier than those inside. It's very convenient, just a short walk across a small bridge. This was the second hotel we stayed at in Erdaodaohe Town during the National Day holiday. Compared to the 2000 RMB hot spring hotel, the rooms here were much more comfortable and spacious. They even had a small balcony perfect for sunbathing or drying clothes. The service was also very thoughtful. We, a family of two adults and one child, had originally booked a king-size room. However, Li at the front desk upgraded us to a family room, saving us several hundred yuan! We were so happy; it really felt like a home away from home. The shuttle driver, Master Zhang, was patient and polite. Overall, I highly recommend staying here for at least one night to experience it.

The room was spacious, fulfilling my child's wish to sleep on the top bunk. The environment is beautiful, and the aesthetics of all the promotional materials, road signs, and logo designs are top-notch. The complimentary benefits and activities were so numerous we couldn't even use them all. The evening activities were abundant, and the flow of movement was well-planned. Even if we missed a shuttle, they would arrange an alternative vehicle for us. After the last shuttle from the hot springs, you could rent a scooter, and at other times, the shuttle service was very prompt. The shuttle from Songguo Li was always on time as it's the starting point. We only ate at Li Liangui inside the resort; for other meals, we called nearby restaurants that offered free pickup and drop-off, and the food was delicious and affordable. Oh, and when I booked the hotel, rafting wasn't listed as a benefit, but we actually received a complimentary Red Willow Rafting experience. To get to the South Slope, we asked the front desk to arrange a private car, and the driver was reliable and the price fair. Overall, I would recommend Huamei Shengdi to my friends. My only complaint is that there are too few washing machines; we could never get one.

This is a hot spring hotel with both indoor and outdoor pools (I highly recommend the outdoor ones, the air in Changbai Mountain is truly amazing). The room facilities are a bit retro, but the location is excellent, right across from Meiren Song Park (I strongly recommend this park). Taxis to various attractions are almost always just the starting fare. The staff are great, especially the lady at the entrance of the breakfast restaurant. She greeted us with a warm smile every day and even guided us to the guest room elevator, fearing we'd walk a long way. Thumbs up!
