„I’m very happy to have stayed at this hotel. I got to know He Boyuan, Li Wen, and Li Zhuolv. I am extremely grateful to these three housekeepers, even though I don’t speak Mandarim, they made their best to make us feel welcome. He Boyuan specially customized a birthday cake and flowers for us and made my birthday specia. She is an incredibly considerate housekeeper who provided excellent service. The overall experience was fantastic.”

„Amazing decision to go to Yinchuan for Dragon Boat Festival since it has the best weather and the cleanest city in China. Kempinski in this city is one of the best. The hotel is in the middle of the city, so there are multiple destinations to tour. For my trip, I did not go to the sand dune area. I focused on the ride share to the touristy movie film park snd neighboring theme town. The hotel is also near the growing 801 Creative Park, Night Market, and just a walk from the Ningxia Museum. So many more local and traditional spots. Bring an extra shopping bag.
The hotel has a great view of their master plan development, delicious food options from the cafe to the German restaurant, and coffee/tea lobby lounge.
The staff is bilingual and the grounds are immaculately clean. Sleeping and facilities really comfortable. Nicest locals all around.

„Of all the camps in the area to choose from I highly recommend staying at this particular one. The manager Wang Shiquan and his team are incredibly good hosts and made sure I had everything I needed. As a foreigner I felt incredibly welcomed and included.
The tents are of really good quality and very roomy. The beds are really comfy too. The activities are also plentiful with quad biking, camel riding and sandboarding. Shapotou is very close by too with much to do.
Ningxia is definitely an underrated province and I highly recommend anyone to come and see it and experience the kind hospitality of it's people from this camp.

„Hotel is new and room is spacious. The breakfast has a very good spread. The compound is nice for leisure walks.
However, it is way over priced, simply too expensive for this standard. Price charged falls below expectations.

„This desert hotel completely exceeded expectations! Staying at the staggered peak to enjoy the whole desert secret, waiting for the sunset to shine soft light on the sky in the evening, the sand dunes were dyed orange by the sunset. At night, the bonfire was burning, the fireworks were blooming, and the vast galaxy was looking up. It was really shocking to see the stars with the naked eye! The room is clean and comfortable. It is rare to have such perfect facilities in the desert. The children directly let go of themselves to play in the sand and don't want to leave. The staff is intimate and thoughtful, and the whole experience is full! Come to Zhongwei Tengri's first choice, will come again next time!”

„Absolutely perfect!
The guesthouse gave us a free upgrade because we had two doggies which was a marvelous start. I love a guesthouse who is so hospitable and puts the needs of their visitors above cost.
The location is perfectly close to Helan mountain which made for a wonderful morning ride to the mountain.
The free wine taste each night was most welcomed and delicious. The free tour of their wine cellar was also a lovely touch.
Food was the best of the three Dalezhiye that we visited this trip. Five Star Michelin feeling in the restaurant with gorgeous views is the Helan mountain and greenery. Also close to many top vineyards in the area. Absolutely quiet and perfect for those wishing to leave the hustle and bustle.
Highly recommend for a relaxing and peaceful stay in Yinchuan.”

AAmy_hkThe hotel is located in the East Lake Grassland Scenic Area. We need a shuttle bus to enter. We arrived less than 1 o'clock in the morning. At first, we were worried about the pick-up problem. After we arrived, we called. I didn’t expect the housekeeper to pick us up in seconds. After that, every time we needed to enter and exit, we could provide pick-up and drop-off immediately. Every time I also ask to pay attention to safety and play, like like like 👍🏻
The hotel can sandboard, you can also participate in desert activities, riding camels, go-karting, motorcycles, etc., very convenient!
Booked 2 types of rooms, 270-degree space warehouse and tent, the beds in the room are comfortable and dry 👍🏻

GGuest UserAlthough the hotel is not particularly new, it has complete facilities and the surrounding environment is relatively good and quiet. The heating and air conditioning are sufficient, giving southerners a full sense of security. There are also many types of breakfast, and in order to avoid waste, they are very considerate and cut into small pieces. When breakfast is about to end, they will knock on the door of each room to ask if you have eaten breakfast. The service was very good and enthusiastic. The air conditioner was already on when I checked in. The lady at the front desk also helped to deliver the luggage to the room and explained the precautions very considerately.

GGuest UserLovely hotel near Wanda Jinfeng mall, surrounded by many pharmacies. The fruit shop downstairs called 小任果 is one of the best fruit chains in Yinchuan with a huge offering of fruits and yoghurt and nuts. We bought these to bring along for our day trips out of Yinchuan. Its nice to stay at Jingfeng district as its quieter than drum tower area.
The lobby has snacks, fruit and drinks all day for guests. Coffee was super !
We used the complimentary washer dryer which is a fabulous amenity.
We appreciated the free pickup at the airport which we arranged 1 day prior by telephone booking from Shanghai. The reception and the breakfast counter staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The toiletries were all upmarket
If there is any con - its the plump cleaning lady at the 3rd floor. She appeared unhappy when we asked her to top up the bath wash when it was low and she forgot to top up. She just handed us a bottle to install ourselves. She also didnt wipe the control panel for the room unlike her colleague who does it when she is on duty so we can see our finger prints still on the glass after housekeeping.
Small issue though. Cos everything else about the hotel was great

HHuniuerxiaoleI chose this hotel because of the free airport pickup and drop-off service, which was a decisive factor for me. The butler contacted us in advance and arranged the pickup, even sending us a small guide and restaurant recommendations, which were all very clear. The hotel environment is also excellent, the driver was very friendly, and the room was super comfortable. I do have a small suggestion though: there seemed to be too few trash cans. It would be much more convenient if the small tabletop bins were replaced with larger ones. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and there was also complimentary late-night congee available, so if you don't feel like going out in the evening, you can easily have a satisfying meal here. The surroundings of the hotel are also lovely; on a clear night, you can even enjoy moon gazing. Overall, I give my stay a full 5 stars.

GGuest UserBefore departing for Yinchuan, I was a bit unsure about the room types. Upon arrival, I had a brief chat with Geng Wei, explaining my needs. She objectively detailed the differences between the two room types without just pushing the more expensive option, which was very genuine. The hotel's lamb offal soup for breakfast was surprisingly delicious, a real bonus. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay.

KKevin_suixinsuoyuWith the high temperatures in Suzhou and Hangzhou, this is a great escape to the heat in the northwest, featuring a lovely guesthouse village. Nan'an is the largest guesthouse complex in the area, with 40 rooms out of a total of 100. This time, we stayed at Taojiaying West House, with a swimming pool in front and a farm/ranch/ranch in the back – very pleasant. The room details were also very well done, suitable for large families or groups of friends.
Both restaurants in the village are good for breakfast: 🌻Xiangke (more variety),
🍜Lao Wang Ji Breakfast & Midnight Canteen. Special praise to Nan'an's management team, including Da Yuan and her group; they communicated with us before our arrival and were very attentive. During our stay, our drone got stuck in a tree in the yard, and the management team helped us find a solution from evening until morning, finally fixing it with a tree trunk over ten meters long.
- Climb the Great Wall (five-minute climb to the top) for panoramic views of the Yellow River and the village.
- Feeding lambs, riding camels, milking goats.
I call it the Yellow River version of ”Wuzhen Village”; the entire village has an integrated design with a Mediterranean feel, perfect for photos.

TTraveler DongLocation: The hotel is conveniently located near Yinchuan Municipal Government and Ningxia Museum, making it easy to access attractions and the train station. Its prime location is a definite plus. However, the hotel entrance is situated between two buildings, and many ride-sharing drivers get misdirected to the parking lot by their navigation, making it difficult for them to pick up guests. It's advisable to factor in extra time when booking a ride.
Room: This time, I used my points to upgrade to a Mountains and Rivers View room. The facilities are pretty similar to the standard rooms, but being on a higher floor offered a nice view of the Helan Mountains. Unfortunately, the window glass was very dirty, making it impossible to take good photos. I suggest cleaning them. Also, the air inlet cover on the handle of the hairdryer in the bathroom was missing, indicating that some facilities need prompt maintenance. The TV was quite old; it couldn't cast, and both the picture and sound quality were poor.
Food: The breakfast selection was rich and varied. However, some of the English translations for certain dishes were significantly flawed and need immediate correction. For dining out, Jin Feng Wanda Plaza is nearby. Alternatively, if you turn left twice after exiting the hotel, within 50 meters, there's a restaurant called 'Bai Xing Han Can' which offers a wide variety of dishes that cater well to Southern palates.

YYouqingvankerThis trip to Ningxia, I specifically came to experience the winery culture, and this winery guesthouse I chose felt pretty good. The butler even arranged a tasting event, allowing us to deeply explore wine culture. It's truly pleasant at the foot of Helan Mountain in the summer.
Winery Tour · Wine Tasting: There were professionals explaining the wine production process, then they taught us how to blend wine hands-on, and we also learned about wine tasting. It was a really great experience.
A bottle of Xiaohuanxi Rosé (375ml): A complimentary bottle of rosé was provided in the room, which we opened and drank that evening. It had a nice flavor.
