This is absolutely one of the best resort hotels we have stayed. The view to the lake is not the best but we are very happy to be hearing bird chirpping in the morning. The corridor of the hotel is unbelievable wide and spacious. The service provided is amongst the best that a hotel could provide. This hotel in the best location next to Nanhu where most of the sights are within walking distance or very close by. It is offering beautiful and relaxing walks along the lake. Going to the old city wall or to the old town takes only a short ride on the taxi of about 10 minutes. The restaurant for breakfast is just beautiful and the food is excellent. We just love this hotel and we will be back. If you are planning to visit Jiaxing, this will be the best hotel in Nanhu. Jiaxing is just absolutely serene and beautiful. We have taken heaps of beautiful photos and so lucky to be staying at Jiaxing Nanhu Resort Hotel.

Location is perfect. Close to Wenzhounan station with bullet train, light rail and long distance coach under one roof. From hotel 2nd floor there is an exit that leads to the skybridge that is connected to wenzhounan. Just look for the giant figurines. From wenzhounan look for the sign ”hotels” that leads to the skybridge. Didi to hotel cost less than 20 rmb. Pls note there is a designated pick up for online car hailing service. Different floor from normal taxi. No handsoap provided. Breakfast is great. Room is big.

I had a great stay at the Sheraton in Huzhou, which sits right on the beautiful Taihu Lake. The hotel itself is a major attraction, and every room comes with amazing views and excellent facilities. The villas are especially impressive, each one has its own hot spring and a private swimming pool, which makes the experience even more relaxing. The hot spring area at the hotel is super comfortable, and the night light show is absolutely spectacular. Walking around the lake and around the hotel feels peaceful and enjoyable. A special thanks to Ms. Lucy Liu from the front office. She speaks good English and acted almost like a personal butler during my stay. She helped with everything, planning the hot spring visit, suggesting nearby boating options, and offering support whenever needed. Her kindness really made my stay even better. This hotel is great for solo travelers, couples, and families. Highly recommended!

Spokojny wypoczynek nad Jeziorem Zachodnim! Idealnie położony w malowniczej okolicy Jeziora Zachodniego, ten hotel łączy spokój z dostępnością. Spokojne otoczenie i świeże powietrze natychmiast nas odprężyły. Nasz pokój był świetny, oferując przytulne miejsce wytchnienia po zwiedzaniu miasta. Poranne i wieczorne spacery nad jeziorem były czystą błogością, prawdziwym antidotum na miejski stres. Śniadanie zachwycało różnorodnością opcji, od lokalnych przysmaków po globalne klasyki, wszystkie świeżo przygotowane. Chociaż bufet obiadowy nie jest rozbudowany, każde danie lśni świeżymi, wysokiej jakości składnikami. Wyjątkowa obsługa sprawiła, że ​​nasz pobyt był wyjątkowy. Specjalne podziękowania dla pani Zhu Mengyao (朱梦瑶) w recepcji, której serdeczność i sprawność podczas zameldowania i wymeldowania sprawiły, że poczuliśmy się naprawdę mile widziani. Stayed for 6 nights from 19 October 2025. The Good: - spacious room - good hot shower (very important to me) - walking distance to District 2 and Glory Mall. Lots of food choices. The Bad - The bathroom has a clear glass panel which looks into the bedroom. I had enquired at the Front Desk and via ”At Your Service” phone button at least 3 times whether they could do something for privacy as I was sharing room with my son. The staff told me that they could sent someone to install curtains. Subsequently, a man turned up and passed me a folded bedsheet. He said it was for me to cover the glass panel. I asked how I was to do it without any tools - ladder, hooks etc !!! He replied past guests had given same feedback but Management did nothing. He said that his colleague had tried taping up the bedsheet but it soon dropped due to weight! I called the ”At Your Service” again, this time a guy said he would get back if there's a room with full privacy. Instead, the same man returned with the bedsheet again! Please understand that for twin sharing, having privacy is very important. - not enough hooks in the bathroom to hang up towel to dry and clothes for changing. Had to drape over the bathtub. - I had booked a room with 2 single bed but was checked into a room with King bed. I called the Front Desk and a lady told me that I booked for a King bed. I said that I had printout to prove that I booked 2 single. Eventually, she returned call and informed that they would change our room in the morning, which was duly done.

I have to praise this guesthouse! It was incredibly cozy, and the owner was exceptionally attentive and helpful. The entertainment facilities were comprehensive, including a huge private swimming pool where every shot was a masterpiece. The ambiance was amazing at night, especially with the lights on. The rooms were spotless, and the soft, plush bedding made for a super comfortable and restful sleep. The heart-pounding amusement park was just a few hundred meters away, and we didn't have to wait in line at all the next day. My friend and I were extremely satisfied and will definitely stay here again next time!

If West Lake had a quieter, more poetic side, this hotel is sitting right on it. The location is the real show-stealer. Set directly by West Lake, you’re greeted with some of Hangzhou’s most beautiful scenery—misty mornings, calm waters, ducks paddling by—without the usual tourist crowds. It’s the kind of place where time slows down whether you want it to or not. The hotel is made up of six two-storey villas, with Villas 1 and 2 converted from old residential houses, which gives parts of the property a heritage, guesthouse-style charm. There are three dining and leisure spaces: Yaoyuan Hall – where breakfast is served, with buffet lunch and dinner available at an additional cost (we didn’t try these). Xizi Hall – home to the Chinese restaurant. Yi Yuan – a lovely space to appreciate tea in a calm, traditional setting. Facilities are housed separately at Nan Yuan, which includes an indoor swimming pool (small, standard-sized), a gym, and costume/makeup services—great for those wanting period photography around West Lake. Now, honesty time—because sugar-coating helps no one. We were initially assigned a room in Villa 2, where the air-conditioning was completely non-functional. The room was extremely stuffy, and we were told this was “normal” and advised to open the windows, sheers, and curtains. In Hangzhou humidity? That answer didn’t quite land. After speaking with the villa concierge, we were shown a room in Villa 1, where the air-conditioning worked—but the room itself was noticeably run-down. At that point, we escalated to the lobby manager the next morning, who handled the situation well and upgraded us to Villa 6, the hotel’s newest addition. And what a difference. Villa 6 feels like a completely different hotel. Modern, well-maintained, and unmistakably more “hotel” than “guesthouse,” it finally matched the premium expectations set by the location. If you’re staying here, Villa 6 is absolutely the one to request. Despite the rocky start, the overall experience ended on a high note—especially for the kids. They loved the morning and evening strolls by the lake, feeding ducks, soaking in the scenery, and hopping on the internal buggy to move between points within the property. The staff deserve a special mention: consistently courteous, warm, and genuinely helpful, even when things didn’t go smoothly at first. Final verdict: An incredibly scenic, peaceful West Lake retreat with heartfelt service—but room quality varies greatly by villa. Choose wisely (Villa 6), and you’ll leave with beautiful memories, calm mornings, and a sense that Hangzhou quietly worked its magic on you.

A classic 5 star hotel with top service and amenities.. the hotel is a little bit old but they have maintained it amazingly! The breakfast is very rich with great western options and pastry selection and a whole lot of local food! The swimming pool is LARGE with a lifeguard present at all times,also they have a Hot Suana Tub next to the pool for complete relaxation. The view from the room the incredible,looking over the oujiang river and the light show the night! The play area for kids is also very big. All in all, worth the visit..will definitely visit again!

The staff were incredibly polite, helpful, and professional, making every interaction feel warm and seamless. But what made this stay extra special was that I proposed during this visit—and everything about the experience contributed to making it perfect.
