Large hotel located in a very convenient location close to train stations and shopping centres. There are two breakfast options in which you can choose to eat at a diversified buffet or a set menu in an observation deck on the 14th floor. The hotel itself is a bit old but renovated inside. Overall, it's very luxurious for the price but the bedding were not too comfortable. Free shuttle departs every 20 minutes between Kyoto station and the hotel. Super convenient for shopping at the station or transferring large luggages. Water and ice filler locations are available on each floor. The gym cost extra to use. Luggage delivery is possible within the hotel as well (cash only).

Outstanding experience at Hotel Granvia Kyoto. Staying here made our Kyoto trip effortless, especially with the hotel located right above Kyoto Station. Trains, buses and shopping are just steps away, which saved us so much time and energy. The hospitality was excellent. The staff were polite, attentive and very efficient, making us feel welcomed immediately. Check in was smooth and the overall service throughout our stay was consistently professional. The room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable, perfect for resting after a full day of sightseeing. This hotel combines prime location with refined service and comfort. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto. Truly a five star experience.

I recently stayed at Rhino Hotel in Kyoto, and it was a pleasant experience overall! The hotel is conveniently located near Saiin Station, making it easy to explore the city. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with modern amenities. I particularly appreciated the comfortable bed and the quiet ambiance, which made for a restful stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout my visit. I also enjoyed the complimentary access to the fitness center and pool, which was a nice bonus. However, the decor felt slightly dated, and the breakfast options could have been more varied. Despite these minor points, I would highly recommend Rhino Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and reasonably priced stay in Kyoto

Hotel jest położony na uboczu, ale kursuje tam bezpłatny autobus wahadłowy. Należy jednak pamiętać o dostosowaniu się do rozkładu jazdy autobusu. Ostatni autobus z dworca do hotelu odjeżdża nieco wcześniej, więc trzeba zrezygnować z wieczornych planów i spakować sobie kolację. W pobliżu nie ma restauracji, a kolacja w hotelu jest niezwykle droga. Przybywając do hotelu wieczorem, miałem ogromne szczęście, że dotarłem wcześnie, ponieważ widok z mojego pokoju był absolutnie oszałamiający. Przypadkiem zrobiłem zdjęcie pokoju i widoku, ale na zdjęciu był ktoś inny, więc go nie uwzględniłem. Podziwianie zachodu słońca i oceanu z mojego pokoju, podczas posiłku w sklepie spożywczym, było naprawdę relaksujące. Pokój był dla mnie dość duży, a dwa pojedyncze łóżka były niesamowicie szerokie! To niezwykle wygodne dla osób, które potrzebują większego łóżka. Chociaż pokój był nieco starszy, widać było w nim kilka remontów i modernizacji. Pomieszczenia ogólnodostępne były bardzo czyste i nowoczesne. Hotel oferuje również bezpłatny bar po południu i wieczorem, w którym można przygotować własne drinki. Dostępny jest również szeroki wybór przekąsek, które bardzo mi się podobały. Wieczór szybko minął mi na przekąskach, drinkach i rozmowach. To był dla mnie najbardziej satysfakcjonujący i zaskakujący pobyt po wielu podróżach do Japonii i pobytach w około dwudziestu hotelach.

We had an amazing stay at Westin Miyako, the staff is very pilote and helpfull, the room was spacious and the view was very nice. There is family mart located on site. We used the pool twice and it was very well maintained - the water temperature is perfect. I strongly recommend if travelling with kids as allows to relax after a busy day.

hotel was overbooked, has to transfer to another hotel for first night. not really happy at that night as feel tired after a long day but satisfy with the arrangement of a better hotel.

Everything was good except the service in hotel restaurants, which was exceptionally bad: 1) breakfast: waited for food for 40 mins, reminded the server 2 times - still nothing; 2) bar: a too long wait for a cocktail. the server said that as apology said cocktail won’t be in included in the bill… but it was there; 3) afternoon tea: told the staff that I dislike dairy products, but have no allergy. So, for example I can eat most sweets, but not the ones with a strong taste of mascarpone cream. In the end they gave me just a plate of fruit and when I remninded them of the above they… did nothing ) I stayed at this hotel and had afternoon tea there last year too - everything was fine then. All of the above are 3 different restaurants inside the hotel, so I wouldn’t recommend going to any restaurant there. In all other aspects except services related to food the hotel is good.

Very good, it is very convenient to go anywhere in the city center. There are also many meals downstairs. Two beds are suitable for a family of four. The decoration is new and cool.
