We had an amazing time at NASPA New Otani — this hotel is a fantastic choice if you’re visiting Yuzawa, especially for a winter getaway! The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay, making us feel right at home from check-in to check-out. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a day of skiing. The location is ideal for winter sports lovers with ski-in/ski-out access to the slopes and easy shuttle service to Echigo-Yuzawa Station, which made getting around a breeze even in snowy weather. The onsen and bathing facilities were relaxing and just what we needed after spending time outdoors. The buffet breakfast and dinner had plenty of variety and were really enjoyable, with something for everyone. While the hotel is set a little away from town, the free shuttle made it convenient to explore the area if we wanted. Overall, it felt like a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and superb service — highly recommended!

Hotel jest atmosferą z ładną mieszanką starego i nowego. Znajduje się nie za daleko od Uonuma no Sato i ma komplementarny usługi shuttle do i z Hatago Isen naprzeciwko stacji Echigo Yuzawa. Pokój jest duży i jest ładny ogrzewany obszar stołu. Łazienka jest miła, ale jak z tradycyjnymi zakwaterowaniemi, takimi jak to, może być dość zimno szczególnie w łazience. Obiad był podany w formacie bento w naszym pokoju. Byłem trochę rozczarowany, że to niewłaściwy posiłek siedzący w głównym obiadowym miejscu. Bento obejmuje dwa ładnie wielkości onigiri, apetyt, i cztery główne przedmioty, w tym mięso patty, grillowane ryby i wagyu pieczone. Łazienka na Onsen jest również dość miła i uwielbiał kąpiel z śnieżnym ogrodem krajobrazowym. Usługa jest ogólnie dobra i dostępne są przekąski i napoje w salonie dla gości. Wieczorem jest również sake i umeshu dostępny dla gości.

The hotel itself was nice, but the staff at the ski resort was horrible, the rentals are also not well maintained. The boards are not waxed, which makes it difficult to work with as there are a lot of flat routes which are difficult to avoid (Pony and village road were the flattest slope Ive ever seen in my life, I had to unstrap and walk and the board just wouldn't move). Ski resort staff were unfriendly and the rental staff was the worst, there was a lady there that was cold and rude. The only reason why the rental shop is surviving is probably because the equipments are salomon branded and that there is no other option.  I would visit again but only because the routes are fun, Myoko long run was the best, but I would never want to rent from the shop again. The food was very very good. For breakfast, you could choose from western or Japanese buffet. Western buffet is highly recommended, the omelette was the best ive eaten in my life and there was a diy risotto which was great as well. For dinner, there were 4 options, either buffet, steak, Japanese or shabushabu. All requiring reservations which is tough if you are checking in the evening as some might not be available. Highly recommend the steak, the food was good and the staff were amazing. Japanese was the hardest to get a reservation for but the food was quite underwhelming. The room was clean and ski lockers are also provided but it's tiny and can barely fit 2 boards. But I wish that in the toilet in the common area, you can adjust the tap temperature as the water is freezing cold. Amenities wise, bottled water are provided daily, also, yukata was provided but you can only wear them to the onsen which was extremely troublesome as I had to change multiple times a day.  The hotel provides shuttle bus services to and fro jyoetsumyoko station which was easy to book. The bus drivers were also friendly and helped out with the luggage. In summary, for a 5 stars hotel, it didn't live up to expectations, ski resort and rental staffs were unwilling to help and unfriendly. Also, some of the staffs could not speak Japanese which is puzzling for a hotel in Japan. If not for the amazing snow and slopes I would never come back.

ちょっとだけ駅から歩きますが、施設の充実度を考えるとアリです。 大浴場があったり、レストランが2つあったり、24時間営業のコンビニがあったりしてとても快適に過ごしました。 万代シティまで歩いて行くことができるので、買い物にも行きやすい場所です。 朝食はないプランで予約していましたが、チェックインのときに滞在中1日だけ付けてもらいました。(1800円) とてもおいしかったです。 チェックアウト後、荷物預かりも頼むことができました。 少し駅からは離れているけど、ここを選んで良かったです！

快適に過ごさせていただくことができました！オーナーさんとは、我々の都合により朝早くの出発で 少ししかお話することができなかったのですが、とても優しく、次回もこの辺りにきた際は宿泊させて頂こうと思いました＾＾

Location may be away from Sakihana station but they provide free shuttle if you inform in advance. Service was fabulous. The pretty Lady manager was warm and super friendly. The rest of the staff were efficient too. Their English is limited but we got by with GoogleTranslate. . Food was very delicious with many courses and side dishes. The highlight for us is the hot spring bath. The place was very clean and neat. We really enjoyed our time there. Yes, we have highly recommended our friends to visit the place in future.

2泊3日のプチ旅行で利用しました。 従業員の方皆さん親切で2人部屋の小さな部屋を予約しましたがのびのびと過ごせました。 朝食はビュッフェ形式で日替わりで白米と他にカレーや炒飯などもありました。 パンやグラノーラもあったので朝はあまり食べれない方でも利用しやすいと思います。 個人的にドリンクに牛乳があったのがとても嬉しかったです。

絕對推薦自駕人士，酒店在山上是偏遠了一點，但佔地好大好舒適，酒店自己有滑雪吊椅，網球場，哥爾夫球場，桌球等設施，房間大和乾淨，7樓大浴場好好泡，早上邊看戶外美景邊泡溫泉，絕對享受，每層樓電梯口都放上不同尺碼浴衣，方便客人更換合身尺寸，早餐和晚餐都是自助餐形式，款式味道算過得去啦，另房間內牙膚牙刷欠奉，好彩我們自備了

The room is outdated style of Japanese room design. When we reach the Echigo Yuzawa station there are no more JR train at 21.45 at nite, we have to take a taxi to the hotel. The transportation is a big issue as the hotel shuttle last bus is at 4.30pm. Good point is children can play snow just doorstep outside hotel. Stayed there for two nites which is enough to explore. Not much tourist was found there. Mostly is local. Prefer to stay at modern type of hotel with the same price. During winter it get dark around 4.30pm, so only can go to the Onsen at nite.

飯店整潔乾淨！停車場超大！唯獨可能只能開車前往，公車應該很少甚至沒有！房間內乾濕分離，很不錯，浴缸的木頭有些發霉，其他都很好！有機會還會再去@
