„It's about a ten-minute drive from Izu Kogen Station. The hotel is quite large, divided into several areas, ranging from luxury to economy. We booked a Japanese-style suite in the main building with a great view. The hotel has many free facilities that you can check on the map and experience one by one. The hot spring facility next door has an open-air bath. Soaking in the hot springs by the moonlit sea at night was very relaxing, with the constant sound of the waves. The breakfast included sashimi and various snacks, which was quite rich, but the selection was almost identical for two consecutive days. I'm giving three stars for service, specifically for the front desk. This hotel has quite a few Indian staff members. So why only three stars? The 5th, 6th, and 7th floors of the hotel all have scenic ocean view rooms, but Chinese guests are always assigned to the 5th floor or rooms near the elevator. Having stayed at many hotels, I can sense the subtle discrimination and differential treatment here. If the price booked through Ctrip is lower than what Japanese tourists pay, then disregard my comment. Finally, this hotel is very family-friendly, perfect for those with children. If you prefer quiet, a hotel of this size won't be quiet at all; you should choose a smaller onsen ryokan instead.”

„Absolutely amazing view from the in-room open air bathtub. They are the closest hotel to the ocean which means unblocked views of the horizon. A short 5mins walk to quite a well stocked supermarket, dollar store (daiso) & McDonald’s for those who are looking for some fast food. Shuttle bus is provided but timings are fairly limited. But a 17min walk to the station isn’t that bad considering it’s a very quaint town. 2 On site public onsen also available for free. Lvl 5’s onsen is better than lvl 3 I think. Staff were also very welcoming and nice.”

„We were assigned an older room that was in dire need of an upgrade. The peeling wallpaper, fraying tatami mat, and sinking mattress made for an uncomfortable stay. The breakfast was decent, but if you're staying for a few days, I suggest rotating your choices, as the offerings remained practically the same throughout our three-day stay. The happy hour at the lounge was crowded, yet it featured a good selection of alcohol, which was a nice perk. However, there isn’t much to explore in the vicinity of the hotel unless you are driving. For a more enjoyable experience, try booking one of the newly renovated rooms. Otherwise, it might be better to seek accommodation in a more centralized location.”

„This hotel has a shuttle bus service from the station to the hotel, and there is free food and drinks in the lounge.”

„We booked the largest room type, but I think the sea view might actually be better in the standard rooms, as our room was located right on the far side. The lobster was pretty mediocre, so I wouldn't recommend booking the set meal. However, the breakfast and dinner buffets were quite good. I'd suggest going to the hot springs around 9 AM after breakfast; you'll practically have the place to yourself as it closes at 10 AM and doesn't reopen until the afternoon.”

„During my two-week trip in Japan, this was unfortunately the worst hotel I stayed at. First of all, the price is not cheap, but the level of service does not match the cost. When I arrived at the parking area, there were many empty parking spaces available, yet I was not allowed to use them and had to park in a charging station space instead, which was confusing and inconvenient. The hotel lobby looks luxurious and impressive, but the guest rooms are extremely outdated and feel like they have not been renovated since the 1980s. The bathroom sink was unusually low, and I had to bend down every time I washed my face or brushed my teeth, which became quite uncomfortable. The only real advantage of this hotel is the view, which is indeed beautiful. However, at this price point, there are many better options available. Another thing that I found very unpleasant was the loudspeaker announcement reminding guests to check out. I personally felt this was quite impolite. If the hotel needs to remind guests about check-out, calling the room telephone would be much more appropriate. The loudspeaker announcement felt more like being told to leave immediately rather than being treated as a guest. I also believe the hot spring tax should be clearly explained during check-in, especially if it must be paid regardless of whether guests use the bath facilities. Being informed only at check-out was disappointing and caused unnecessary confusion. In addition, the English communication at the front desk was very limited. Unfortunately, I had difficulty understanding what the staff were trying to explain, which made the experience even more frustrating as an international traveler. Overall, despite the beautiful view, the outdated facilities, communication issues, and service experience did not justify the price. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel.”

„Our room has a Mount Fuji view, which was great! However, the location of the hotel is situated on the hill, so May not be so convenient for travellers who don’t drive. Also, if you want to go to the public onsen within the hotel, you will have to take the shuttle bus, which is a bit inconvenient. However, overall this hotel is still a good choice!”

„Ponieważ hotel został zbudowany w latach 20. XX wieku i odnowiony w latach 80. XX wieku, jego wyposażenie jest stosunkowo stare. Jeśli masz coś przeciwko, możesz zarezerwować pokój w innym nowym hotelu, takim jak Tokyu. Pokój, w którym się zatrzymałem, miał dostęp do otwartego gorącego źródła. Słuchałem szumu fal, obserwując morze i ciesząc się urokami nadmorskiego gorącego źródła. Jest tam również duże kąpielisko z widokiem na morze, w którym można się zrelaksować. Za oknem hotelu znajduje się port Shimoda, który znajduje się niedaleko stacji Shimoda, około 900 metrów. Autobus kursuje mniej więcej raz na godzinę, co nie jest zbyt wygodne. Jeśli bagaż nie jest ciężki, możesz przejść się ulicą samodzielnie. Jeśli bagaż jest ciężki, możesz również wziąć taksówkę przy wejściu na stację. Ponieważ kiedy tam byłem, restauracja hotelowa była zamknięta i musiałem wyjść na zewnątrz, żeby zjeść. Skręć w lewo, a 500 metrów dalej znajduje się supermarket i lokalna restauracja Yoshinoya. Możesz zamówić jedzenie po chińsku z automatu. Skręć w prawo, a dotrzesz do stacji i miasta. W hotelu można kupić bilety na statek wycieczkowy i popłynąć nim do portu na 20-minutowy rejs. W mieście jest wiele restauracji, ale bez znajomości języka japońskiego trudno się porozumieć. Jeśli restauracja jest otwarta, najlepiej zamówić jedzenie bezpośrednio w hotelu.”

„시설은 오래 되었지만 깨끗하고 주변에 음식점도 많고 무료주차이고 직원이 아주 친절해요. 선밸리 이즈나가오카(=본관)에 가면(걸어서 7분, 무료 셔틀 언제든 가능) 아주 큰 대욕장이 있어요. 하루의 피로가 싹 씻깁니다. 조식도 본관에 가서 먹어야 하는데 아주 맛있어요. 오고갈 때 걸으니까 소화도 되고 참 돟아요. 다시 갈 거에요.”

„Zakładam, że urok Atami jest taki, że cały obszar jest trochę ”datowany” w zakresie kurortu, a ten hotel zdecydowanie dostosowuje się do tego - wydaje się to miejsce, które kiedyś było świetne i jest teraz trochę po prostu walcowanie wraz z jaką forsą może. Jedzenie jest przydatne, ale całkowicie nienaturalne - kawiarnia upscale maskująca jako coś lepszego niż jest z ”szefami” noszącymi swoje białe. Cała jadalnia ciągle pachnie frytki oleju z tempura - które wciąż robią i trzymają pozostałe gorące dania są bardzo rozczarowane zarówno pod względem odmiany, jak i ogólnego smaku. Sushi i sashimi to wyróżnienie pożywienia, choć jest to również bardzo podstawowe - nie wszystko, co zabije twój umysł, ale dość smaczne i świeże (choć w naszą drugą noc wszystko smakowało trochę mydła/biało). Jako zachodni, będziesz bardzo rozczarowany śniadaniem, choć to jest problem ”ja”, a nie problem hotelowy. Spa jest miła, ale trochę daty - uważaj w wyborze czasu i lokalizacji, chyba że chcesz być otoczony przez wielu głośnych (zwykle chińskich) dzieci. Prywatne spa są dostępne i są dość miłe, chociaż ponownie daty. Niemniej jednak w około 60 USD na godzinę cena jest dobra dla prywatności, zwłaszcza jako zachodni, który w przeciwnym razie podlega dość nieco gapiąc się na ten głównie lokalny i chiński spa. Pobyliśmy w luksusowym pokoju królewskim, który był przestronny z ogromnym i wygodnym łóżkiem, a (Dla Japonii) rozsądnie wymiaru wanny. Hotel jest nieco od ubitej drogi, ale ma regularne bezpłatne przejazdy do/z stacji Atami, gdzie można znaleźć główne ulicy turystyczne do zakupów itp. Wysoko sugeruje sprawdzanie Golden Eye dla niektórych doskonałych Ramen.”
