„We really enjoyed the ambience of the hotel. It is clean, fresh, and pleasantly scented. The room is spacious, and the bed sheets, pillows, and mattress are very comfortable and well maintained. The bathroom amenities are complete, and the water pressure is good. The facilities, including the swimming pool and gym, are also well maintained. The hotel is conveniently located next to a mall, which is perfect for shopping, and there are many great dining options nearby. Area for improvement: The hairdryer is quite small and not very powerful, so it takes a long time to dry long hair.”

„The hotel is beautifully designed, with an elegant atmosphere that creates a very comfortable stay. The interior is stylish, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, allowing me to have a great night's sleep. However, I believe the hotel should pay more attention to housekeeping and quality control, especially considering it is a newly opened property. The white coffee table in my room was covered with a noticeable layer of dust. When I wiped it with my hand, dust came off immediately. Surprisingly, the other tables in the room were clean, so it seemed that this particular table had been overlooked. I also found dust on the floor beside the glass panel next to the bathtub, which looked as though it had not been cleaned. In addition, there was a loose screw beside the fish tank, along with visible traces of unfinished construction or installation work. These details should have been properly cleaned up and inspected before the room was handed over to guests. The weighing scale also had visible dirty marks on it, which did not leave a good impression. Another disappointment was that I called Guest Services twice to report these issues, but no one answered either call. In the end, I gave up trying. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed the hotel's beautiful design, elegant ambience, and comfortable bed. My experience would have been much better if more attention had been given to cleanliness, room inspection, and guest service. I hope the management will address these issues, as the hotel has great potential to provide an excellent guest experience. Should the hotel require further clarification, I would be happy to provide videos documenting the issues I encountered during my stay. The location is excellent—right by the waterfront—making it very convenient for sightseeing, relaxing walks, and exploring nearby attractions and eateries. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which made the whole experience even better. Breakfast had a good selection, with both local and international options, and the dining area was comfortable and spacious. Facilities like the pool and common areas were also well-kept and enjoyable. Overall, Grand Margherita Hotel offers great comfort, good service, and an ideal location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kuching, whether for leisure or business.”

„The management needs improvement. Even the simplest check-in process can go wrong. Our two-night stay was reduced to one night, and we were even called and asked why we didn’t check out on time. We explained the situation to the hotel management, but they never called us back. After that, We were so nervous that we thought the hotel had thrown our things out, so we rushed back to the hotel to deal with it. They didn’t even an apology.”

„We had a pleasant stay. The room was spacious. The food was great, and maybe for breakfast selection can add some ”kuih-muih” too. The view from the swimming pool is also nice, just that the edge of the pool, where the waters are draining down, need to be clean, seems like it's not being clean for ages...it was green .. Overall, it is a good place to stay, and just next to the shopping mall.”

„Zarezerwowałem 3 pokoje na 2 noce. Rodzinna wycieczka . Poduszka pachnie wilgocią. Alarm przeciwpożarowy zadzwonił przez co najmniej 10 minut o 8 rano następnego dnia, nie raz, ale dwa razy. To jest bardzo irytujące. Wieczorem wyszliśmy na lunch. Kiedy wracamy do naszego pokoju, karta-klucz nie działa dla całego pokoju. Długo czekałem, aż przekażą nam nowy klucz. Kiedy w końcu personel przekazał nam nowy klucz, powiedziałem personelowi, aby przyniósł wózek, ponieważ ma to wpływ na nasz tryb wakacyjny, więc postanowiliśmy się wymeldować. Czekałem kolejne 15 minut, a wózka nie ma. Poszedłem do recepcji, żeby to sprawdzić, a personel odpowiedział: „Och, chcesz się wymeldować? Ale z systemu wymeldowanie odbędzie się jutro”. dokładnie ten sam personel, który przekazał nam klucz i powiedziałem mu, żeby przyniósł nam wcześniej wózek. Złe doświadczenia z tym hotelem.”

„Both left and right are surrounded by either pub or karaoke lounge. Not recommended if need a peaceful stay & good night sleep. However, it has good basement car parks to ensure safety parking. Hopefully the hotel will do better sound proof to all windows especially all superior rooms.”
