„Pokój, choć niezbyt duży, był przytulny. Projektor działał świetnie, a drzwi z funkcją wyciszenia były fantastyczne. Kołdra i poduszki były w porządku, pościel nie szeleściła przy każdym ruchu. Niektóre lustra bez oświetlenia mogłyby zostać ulepszone, bo trochę trudno było się w nich zobaczyć, hahaha. Śniadanie bardzo mi się podobało, wszystkie dania były świeże, zwłaszcza sałatka warzywna – moja ulubiona. Zupa ryżowa Luosifen z nóżkami kaczki też była dobra. Soki warzywne, takie jak marchewkowo-dyniowy, były bardzo zdrowe. Lokalizacja bez zarzutu, super wygodna. Obsługa była bardzo entuzjastyczna i pełna pozytywnej energii. Zawsze zatrzymuję się tutaj, gdy przyjeżdżam do Nanning.”

Built right by the river, I got to experience fishing by the Li River, even seeing cormorants up close. „Spacious room with nice views (although there is a lot of future development around that may block views). Staff were generous and friendly. Breakfast was varied and the on demand noodle station and egg station was a highlight. Pool was a nice amenity and the laundry room was very useful. Was not accustomed to the people smoking inside in the dining room which did not seem to align with the wellness/health aspect of the space. The design of the rooms also did not have windows which made the humidity above 84%. Thankfully you can ask for a dehumidifier if needed. The beds were very comfortable. It would be nice if they had bikes or scooters to rent on site (or provided shuttle service ) as the hotel is a bit remote.”

Starting with 450 sqm villas, each with a private pool over 10 meters long, it already surpasses many well-known domestic hotel brands. The management has also done an excellent job training staff on service awareness. The butler was prompt and efficient, always ready to assist, and the staff's execution was strong. Throughout my three-day stay, every staff member I encountered would proactively smile and greet me. The hotel is also quite generous, offering complimentary daily minibar, fruit, cookies, and afternoon tea. They also provide inflatable floats, water guns, induction cookers, and frying pans, along with buggies and bicycles for guests' convenience. For an introvert like me, these added values are far more appealing than any elaborate 'rituals.' It's clear the hotel aims to attract guests through genuine word-of-mouth rather than relying on a 'luxury' brand premium. Overall, this is a highly recommended hotel for a quiet getaway.”

„This hotel far exceeded our expectations! With two kids, the hotel's double queen room, featuring two 1.8-meter beds, was perfect for our family of four to sleep comfortably. Since it's a new hotel, the bedding is excellent – pure cotton sheets and a very bouncy mattress. The air conditioning was perfectly cool, and the blackout curtains ensured we had a great night's sleep every night. Smart devices made watching movies convenient. The hotel also provides brand new electric scooters, which were super handy for rides to the Yulong River and West Street attractions. The hotel's views were arguably the most stunning among all the hotels we considered; every photo taken from our room looked like a professional shot. We also ordered food from the hotel, and the taste was great. I especially want to commend the two gentlemen at the front desk. They were incredibly service-oriented, offering travel tips, suggesting fun places to visit, and outlining cycling routes. Any missing toiletries were quickly replenished. Our check-out was at 12 PM, but our flight wasn't until 2:30 PM. The gentlemen thoughtfully gave us coffee vouchers for the rooftop cafe so we could relax there quietly. The dedication of the staff significantly enhanced our travel experience. While it's not a huge hotel, it was incredibly comfortable, and choosing it was definitely the right decision.”

„If you are concerned about the security of your belongings, think carefully before staying at this hotel. I want to state first that the receptionists and front desk staff are excellent and professional. Unfortunately, there is a serious issue with room security and unauthorized entry. I am a returning guest. First stay: 10–14 December, Room 3031 Second stay: 22–24 December, Room 3003 During my first stay, I informed the cleaning supervisor that I did not want housekeeping until 14 December. When my room ran out of bottled water, I spoke to a cleaning staff member who said she would place the water in my room later after I went out. During our conversation, my room door accidentally shut, and she used a master key card to open it. Looking back, she could have simply handed the water to me as her cart was in the hallway. On 12 or 13 December, the same cleaning staff mentioned that they “cannot earn if they do not clean my room.” Feeling pressured, I agreed to allow floor cleaning only. I stood outside the room while two cleaners mopped the toilet, changed towels, and vacuumed the carpet. On 14 December early checkout, I reached for a pair of black slack pants that had been hanging in the closet since 10 December but it was not there. At that time, I assumed the pants may have been accidentally packed into the two bags for the hotel’s luggage storage. I then traveled to other parts of China with light luggage and did no shopping. I returned to the hotel on the night of 22 December and collected my stored bags. The black slack pants were not in them. During second stay at the hotel I did no shopping. After 24th Dec flying home, I discovered something even more alarming. A bundle of newly purchased jeans for my sister and mother during my first stay—packed together in a plastic bag—was missing. At the airport on 24th Dec, my bags were shrink-wrapped and sealed, and is no wander the total weight was at least 1.3 kg lighter than expected. This suggests that someone entered my room when the room was vacant and removed items from my packed luggage. Hotel staff would have known my checkout date, and I had not opened my bags after packing. This experience has caused me great distress. While the front desk service is commendable, the lack of room security and the disappearance of personal belongings is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I strongly urge management to investigate this matter seriously.”

I highly recommend this hotel in Guilin. The location is excellent; Elephant Trunk Hill and Sun and Moon Pagodas are all within walking distance. There are also many noodle shops and highly-rated restaurants nearby. We traveled to Guilin with our child and chose a family room on the 10th floor. The kids' play area is right outside the door in the hallway, and our child absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave the hotel. The rooms in this row, facing the play area, are very spacious and comfortable. They also come equipped with rocking horses, crawling mats, and small tents, making it an ideal choice for a family trip. On top of that, it offers great value for money. The hotel breakfast was also good; we stayed for three days, and the breakfast menu was different every morning. Oh, and the front desk also provided different small desserts every evening, which was a very nice touch!

The location is a huge plus, making getting around super easy! It's a 5-minute walk to Guanlian Pier and just 10 minutes to Yangshuo West Street. It's also convenient to rent electric scooters nearby, and for those driving, there's a free parking lot and charging stations. The massive balcony directly faces the Li River, offering panoramic views of the mountains and water, creating an instant luxurious ambiance. The hotel boasts a popular infinity pool and a 'Sky Mirror' that's great for photos, plus a fully equipped gym and a children's play area, making it suitable for both couples and families. The breakfast and dinner experience was excellent. I was very satisfied with the architecture and tranquility of The Sugar House. It's a shame that it was too hot during my recent visit, so I couldn't spend much time exploring outdoors. The architecture and scenery here are so skillfully integrated that there's no spot you wouldn't want to stop and admire. Additionally, this hotel offers Black Diamond privileges, which included vouchers and some small gifts – a delightful surprise for my first experience. The room was very clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and excellent blackout curtains, allowing for a very peaceful sleep. The outdoor view was also beautiful; lounging or working on the balcony was quite relaxing. The hotel offers many activities, so even if you don't leave the hotel during the National Day holiday, there's plenty to participate in. Unfortunately, due to my itinerary, I only got to experience the basket swing activity once. Dinner at the restaurant was slightly more expensive than outside, but the taste was decent. Western cuisine seemed to be a slightly better choice than Chinese. Breakfast had limited options, a combination of à la carte and buffet, and the taste was just okay, not particularly delicious. You can ask for dry mix rice noodles, as the default comes with soup, but I found the dry mix to be tastier. I highly recommend the travel photography session. The photographer here previously worked for Earl Travel Photography, so their skills are excellent. The shooting process was very relaxed, and I was happy with the finished photos. Some suggestions for improvement: the service staff seemed less professional. The restaurant staff stuttered when asked about dishes and mostly had expressionless faces. Some of them were interns. Also, the door leading to the balcony from the restaurant had no resistance and slammed shut if you let go, which was quite disruptive during meals. Furthermore, the body lotion in the toiletries was incredibly difficult to squeeze out; it took forever to get any out to use as a body lotion. I might come back again when it's cooler. Overall, it was a good experience, and this was the best hotel experience I had in Yangshuo this time.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My stay at the Na Lian Fei Shi Select Hotel in Nanning was excellent overall. The hotel is conveniently located in the Longguang Century Building, within the ASEAN Business District, making it easy to get around and dine out. The room was very clean, and the bedding was comfortable, leading to a great rest experience. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered expansive views, making it very relaxing to gaze at the city scenery during leisure time. The front desk staff were polite, and the check-in process was smooth. The hotel amenities are comprehensive, with a swimming pool and gym located on the 77th floor, perfect for exercise and relaxation during downtime. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, with a decent taste. The facilities were well-maintained, quiet, and not noisy. It's suitable for both business trips and short getaways, offering good value for money. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Nanning.

The room design is beautiful, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a great view. The front desk service was also excellent. When I arrived, I had a minor scrape on my foot, and the front desk staff promptly brought me iodine swabs and band-aids, which was incredibly thoughtful. They were always ready to help with anything I needed. The most memorable part was the buffet on the 15th or 17th floor – 'No. 1 Seafood' – it was absolutely delicious! Guests get a 50 RMB discount, making it around 200 RMB per person.

I will always trust Shangri-La Hotel Guilin when staying in Guilin; every visit feels like coming home. The hotel's decor is incredibly well-thought-out, and the garden is meticulously maintained. Sitting in a lounge chair in the Camphor Garden, looking back at this palace-like hotel, it exudes grandeur and comfort. It not only boasts the hardware and comfort of a five-star hotel but also features extensive gardens. Across the bridge lies the Li River, allowing you to enjoy its scenic beauty without even leaving the hotel. This is also an excellent family-friendly hotel. Teacher Xiao Pa leads children in engaging activities, making it a more cost-effective choice than Club Med. Furthermore, it's conveniently located near all major attractions in Guilin, even allowing for city walks.

The room was clean and tidy. The service was excellent. The small plums at the entrance were delicious, and there was also coffee. At the lobby entrance, there were some common travel essentials like insect repellent, hair spray, and aloe vera gel. They also offered travel tips.

First off, the hotel's ambiance is truly exceptional, making it perfect for a staycation. Our villa faced the Qianguqing Scenic Area, backed by mountains and forests. Plus, the restaurant and rooms all offered breathtaking views of the natural landscape. Every corner of the hotel felt thoughtfully designed – you could take amazing photos anywhere. The seventh floor houses the restaurant, and there's an outdoor pool on the eighth, which was incredibly relaxing. It's the kind of place where you could happily spend an entire day. Secondly, the location is incredibly convenient. Right next to the Qianguqing Scenic Area, it's also very close to the Yulong River, West Street, and the Ten-Mile Gallery. Thirdly, the butler service was incredibly attentive and warm, making us feel right at home. Overall, highly recommended!
