Guilin's beautiful mountains and waters truly come to life at this moment. --- The room I booked was spacious and bright, with a minimalist, luxurious, Instagram-worthy style. Two huge, absolutely beautiful window views offer picturesque scenery during the day. In the evening, during the 'blue hour,' it's full of mysterious ambiance. The bathtub 🛁 by the bed allows you to relax and enjoy while soaking—cozy and comfortable. It's truly beautiful and so comfortable. Travel experience: 💯 I could honestly lie here all day long.

The value for money here is incredible!!! The cleanliness is also excellent! Absolutely spotless! I honestly didn't expect a hotel in a tourist area to be this clean! We usually pay close attention to things like the sinks and showerheads, and even my dad, who's a clean freak, said it was very clean! Secondly, they upgraded us to a super-sized family room, haha! The theme perfectly matched our luggage! 💯 Plus, it had a bathtub, which my son absolutely loved! We slept very comfortably at night; overall, it was excellent! I found the breakfast to be very generous and incredibly varied, with so many options. I went all out on the broccoli, haha, it was really delicious! The pool was right next door, and the kids had a blast! The key thing is, I also thought the pool was very clean! Not dirty at all! The hotel really put in the effort! The location is also great. It's convenient to get anywhere by electric scooter, and there are plenty of dining options. Since we drove, the parking and charging facilities were perfect. All in all, this hotel was the perfect first stop in Guilin!

This hotel exceeded every expectation and became one of the biggest highlights of our trip. From the incredible location and breathtaking views to the outstanding service and unforgettable experiences, everything was simply perfect. 📍 The Perfect Location The hotel is perfectly located next to Fubo Hill, with beautiful views of the Li River and Guilin’s iconic karst mountains. The Two Rivers & Four Lakes Scenic Area, restaurants, cafés, shopping streets, and many of the city’s top attractions are all within easy walking distance. We couldn’t have chosen a better location. 🏊 Stunning Rooftop Infinity Pool The rooftop infinity pool is absolutely breathtaking. Swimming while enjoying panoramic views of the Li River and Guilin’s spectacular mountain landscape was one of the most memorable moments of our stay. It’s truly one of the most beautiful hotel pools we’ve ever experienced. 🍜 Breakfast with an Incredible View Every morning began with a delicious breakfast overlooking the Li River and the surrounding karst mountains. The food was excellent, offering both Chinese and Western options, and the beautiful scenery made every breakfast feel special. 🛏️ Beautiful Rooms The room was spacious, spotless, stylish, and equipped with everything we needed. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, making our stay incredibly comfortable. ❤️ Exceptional Hospitality The staff were among the friendliest we’ve met during our travels. Everyone was genuinely kind, attentive, and always happy to help. Their warmth and professionalism made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. 🎣 Authentic Local Experiences This hotel offers so much more than just a place to stay. One of our favorite experiences was traditional riverside fishing with cormorants, which was both relaxing and uniquely local. We also loved the Chinese calligraphy class, children’s craft activities, and the complimentary traditional costume photoshoot with three beautifully edited photos included. 👨👩👧👦 Perfect for Families Our children loved the spacious indoor playroom and all the activities prepared by the hotel. It is an excellent choice for families traveling with kids. 🍽️ Excellent Restaurant We also had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and were genuinely impressed. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was wonderful. 🧺 Thoughtful Extras Free self-service laundry, complimentary cultural activities, lovely farewell gifts, and so many thoughtful little touches made our stay even more memorable. ✨ Final Thoughts This hotel offers far more than just a beautiful place to stay—it creates unforgettable memories. Yangshuo Shixi Tianyue Hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance to West Street and the Li River pier. It's a peaceful retreat, away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are spacious and clean, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering scenic mountain and river views, and the bedding is very comfortable. The rooftop Sky Mirror is perfect for photos. The hotel also features a swimming pool, a kids' playground, and a rich breakfast selection. The service is attentive and thoughtful, and parking is convenient for those driving. It's easy to get around and explore, offering great value for money.

Yangshuo Sugarhouse has always been a hotel I've wanted to visit, and a serendipitous opportunity finally brought me here, marking my first trip to Yangshuo. True to its pictures, it's exactly as you've seen it. Admittedly, it's no longer a new hotel, and I had some reservations beforehand, as similar-priced hotels in the same category might offer larger, more luxurious options. However, for design enthusiasts, Sugarhouse is special; it's a destination in itself. My first impression was that the hotel is reasonably well-maintained, and the service is always pleasant and attentive. I always assumed these were standard expectations in such hotels, not worth mentioning. Yet, it wasn't until I truly experienced the various facets of Yangshuo that I realized Sugarhouse is an oasis in this bustling, chaotic, and often less-than-pleasant destination. Yangshuo is beautiful, but its natural charm isn't always enough to offset some disappointing tourist experiences. You might exert a lot of effort trying to soak in the legendary landscapes, only to be left unsatisfied, perhaps due to early mornings or overwhelming crowds. But at Sugarhouse, you can intimately connect with Yangshuo's mountains and rivers, as they are right outside your room, beyond the iconic pool view. During the day, you can fully immerse yourself in nature undisturbed, and as dusk falls, the lights of Impression Liu Sanjie illuminate them, making you a part of the landscape. Finding such tranquility in this destination is incredibly precious, a realization I only had after switching to other hotels. The service here carries a hint of genuine, endearing awkwardness, and you can sense that achieving this level of service isn't easy. The bartender at 1969 Bar recommended a special concoction when I was indecisive, allowing me to savor the last season's season of loquat gin, which was unforgettable. Lucy at the front desk was incredibly helpful in resolving my issues, and when I pointed out some minor flaws in the room, they were already being addressed – truly tiny details that not everyone would notice, demonstrating their genuine care for guests. I met a gentleman at breakfast who enthusiastically and meticulously introduced me to oil tea and proactively helped me carry it to my upstairs seat when my hands were full. On my departure day, I even saw him standing at the lobby entrance at 36 degrees Celsius, assisting guests. Later, I learned he was the hotel's general manager. The people here are sincere and responsible, and what initially felt like minor imperfections transformed into a stark difference after comparison. I can give the experience here full marks. Some friends might find it too boring, with too many cars on the highway outside the rooms. But if you've experienced the endless swarm of electric scooters, the ubiquitous paid parking lots, and the so-called villas that cost 3,000 yuan with no view whatsoever, you'll realize that not only is the pricing here quite fair, but it's also almost the only viable accommodation option in Yangshuo. Of course, this is just for reference if you don't plan on venturing out, but Sugarhouse still offers many interesting services that make it a highly recommendable choice.

Bringing my family to Nanning, I chose the family two-bedroom connecting room at this hotel, and the experience was absolutely flawless. Regarding the room: The design of the connecting room is excellent. Close the two doors, and it's a private world; open them, and it's a joyful family space. The room is extremely spacious, with no cramped feeling for three adults. The tea table in the living room was our favorite spot for tea and chats every evening. Regarding the service: A special thanks to the hotel for their thoughtful arrangements. Knowing we had an evening flight, they allowed us to check out late at 4 PM. This humane consideration made our trip very relaxed. We could even go back to the room for a comfortable nap in the afternoon, and there was no 'rushed' feeling like we were fighting a battle when checking out. Regarding the dining: The cloud-top view at breakfast is superb, and the Laoyou noodles and five-colored glutinous rice were a big hit with my family. Dinner at the Nalian Chinese restaurant was also a first-class experience, especially the braised pork belly – it was fatty but not greasy, melted in your mouth, and incredibly delicious with rice. In Nanning, Nalian will always be our top choice. I highly recommend it to all families traveling!

Better maintained than I expected! I was initially hesitant to book, fearing the hotel might be old, but a 5-star is a 5-star. The service is excellent, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. Parking is convenient, and the location is great with everything you need nearby. The hotel's front desk is even a popular spot for photos! I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance; it offers great value for money. Plus, the best Thai milk tea is right nearby—it couldn't be more perfect!

Our family of three had a fantastic stay here! The hotel grounds are huge, and our child absolutely loved the peacocks roaming around – we'd often spot them, which made the trip really fun. The room was spacious, and the service was thoughtful and attentive. The front desk even provided children's amenities. The facilities are comprehensive, with a kids' play area, a swimming pool, and even a sightseeing train. The back gate leads directly to the Li River. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and the Guilin rice noodles were delicious. Some facilities are a bit dated, but it didn't detract from our vacation. We didn't even need to leave the hotel to keep our child entertained. Our child still talks about the peacocks, so I highly recommend this for families with kids.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful. Before booking, I weighed many factors and compared numerous brand-name hotels and well-known guesthouses. Staying in the Ten-Mile Gallery would make shopping inconvenient, while being right in West Street would be too noisy and congested. With a child, I also wanted to avoid a small room. I chose Earth Village Qing Shan Yun She. Although the lobby isn't huge, I was very satisfied with everything else. It's just across the road from West Street, right next to Yangshuo Park, which effectively shielded us from the noise. Opening the window, we were greeted with a lush green view. The large parking lot right outside was super convenient for us as we were driving. The room had a bed plus a tatami area, a projector screen, and two sinks, which my child absolutely loved – no more fighting over who gets to brush their teeth first! They offer self-service laundry and a glass sunroom for drying clothes, and even provide laundry detergent in the room. On the first floor, there's a small children's play area, a game room, a karaoke room, and unlimited snacks, tea, and fruit – so many thoughtful details. Breakfast is a fixed set meal per person (rice noodles + eggs + sandwich + coarse grains + fruit), with congee, soy milk, and coffee available for self-service. While not extensive, the combinations were well-thought-out, and considering the very reasonable price, it was perfect for our family who needed extra breakfast options. With prices soaring everywhere during the summer, finding this place offered excellent value for money.

The hotel is located right by Rong Lake, near the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, which is very quiet. In the mornings, you can hear birds chirping from the park. It's a 15-minute walk to the free Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area, and a 7-minute walk to see the Sun and Moon Pagodas at night, where you can also take a cruise. This location pretty much covers all the attractions in Guilin city. All the hotel staff were lovely, and I especially want to thank a female staff member or supervisor at the front desk – I'm not entirely sure which she was. It had been raining for days, and after checking out, we canceled our train to Yangshuo, fearing flooding and that we wouldn't be able to enjoy ourselves there. She told us that since we had traveled so far, we should still go and see it, as the scenery is beautiful and it doesn't rain constantly; we wouldn't know until we got there. So, we re-bought our tickets and went. She even helped us make a waterproof cover for our child's camera, which was incredibly thoughtful. When we got there, we found it hadn't rained for the past two days, and we were able to enjoy bamboo rafting and everything. The scenery truly was breathtaking, and it was definitely worth the trip! Coming all the way from Beijing, it certainly made our long journey worthwhile. We came here in a hurry this time and didn't plan anything, relying entirely on the information and advice from the front desk concierge. Their explanations made everything so much clearer. We'll definitely choose this place again for our next trip.
