„The location of the hotel is just by the River and easy to take nice pictures right from the hotel or in front of the hotel. Upon our arrival, the doorman immediately grabbed our bags and welcomed us. Although we told him that our bags are heavy and offered to take some of the luggage by ourselves, he insisted to help us and helped to carry everything inside. The reception staff did the check in quickly and also informed us of their hotel facilities and services. They told us that we have a complimentary professional photography session to have our photos taken. They also introduced the local tourist attractions and we took the river boat trip that evening, which was very pleasant and nice way to see Guilin during the evening. The following day we went for the photo taking sessions and we got some beautiful memorable pictures taken. Our room was very beautiful and large and we wish we would have had more time to stay. We even had a separate room for drinking tea which was so cozy. The breakfast restaurant is located on the top floor of the hotel so the guests can have a nice view of the surroundings. Upon our departure the reception staff asked how our stay had been and bid us farewell and they had prepared some very cute gifts for us. I highly recommend this hotel for anybody who would like to visit Guilin leisure. Perfect location, perfect service and facilities!”

„Located opposite a pretty lake, nice for a walk, the hotel is good for leisure and business travellers. The rooms are large and well equipped. The shower was particularly nice and the bed is comfortable. The hotel is very clean. Fortunately I was with my Chinese speaking partner otherwise check in may have been a longer process. The breakfast was also fine but more orientated to local audience - albeit there is bread, fruit, eggs. Coffee at breakfast is not so good.”

„Upgraded to a balcony room for one night, directly facing the beautiful Li River and Fubo Hill. The evening breeze was so pleasant. The double sinks, toilet, and shower room were all separate, which was very convenient. Later, we moved to a 180-degree river view room, where I could just relax on the tatami mat and gaze at the river – truly a stolen moment of leisure. The oversized bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak and stress relief. The mini-bar was free, and the complimentary fruit at night was delicious. The butler and front desk staff were all so kind, polite, and provided excellent service, always ready to help. They proactively asked daily if we needed anything, if the room temperature was comfortable, or if we wanted to choose different pillows. We slept wonderfully every night. The hotel breakfast offered a great variety, including two types of rice noodles (dry and soup). There were also two kinds of herbal teas daily, like luo han guo and goji berry. We had dinner à la carte, and the food was delicious, the ambiance beautiful, making it perfect for photos. The hotel package included a photoshoot with a good selection of outfits. The photographer was patient and meticulous, and selecting the photos was a smooth process. My mom absolutely loved the hotel's cultural handicraft experience; she made three phone charms and really enjoyed it. I also tried the hotel spa. The masseuse was quiet throughout but worked hard, and her technique was very good. The most memorable part of our Guilin trip was our stay at Lijiang Courtyard. We felt completely at home. Niektóre lustra bez oświetlenia mogłyby zostać ulepszone, bo trochę trudno było się w nich zobaczyć, hahaha. Śniadanie bardzo mi się podobało, wszystkie dania były świeże, zwłaszcza sałatka warzywna – moja ulubiona. Zupa ryżowa Luosifen z nóżkami kaczki też była dobra. Soki warzywne, takie jak marchewkowo-dyniowy, były bardzo zdrowe. Lokalizacja bez zarzutu, super wygodna. Obsługa była bardzo entuzjastyczna i pełna pozytywnej energii. Zawsze zatrzymuję się tutaj, gdy przyjeżdżam do Nanning.”

The housekeeper Yuan Yuan has been patient and serviced, warm and gentle, and sent various gifts! Great value! ! ! Okay! ! ! The hotel is almost 0 distance from the beach. It takes two steps to the beach after leaving the hotel. I took the children to the beach for 4 trips in two days. They had a great time! Let me realize painless baby. Overall, give 4.9 points. The only hotel breakfast that needs to be improved is Western-style. Many dishes are not very friendly to children. I hope the hotel can add some children's dishes. I have already checked my friends around Amway!”

From the spacious guest rooms, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Li River and the lush gardens.The hotel has indoor/outdoor swimming pools and a large garden suitable for children to play. The children's playground is equipped with slides, and the bathing and changing rooms are also very user-friendly.The hotel has several top-notch local restaurants and bars, with elegant cocktails, exquisite meals, and casual poolside snacks, where you can have a full meal.The huge pillar-less banquet hall has an area of 1,800 square meters and a ceiling height of 9 meters. It can easily accommodate 1,600 guests and is suitable for business meetings.
„Firstly, on our check-in, we were told we can upgrade to a Riverview room at a cost of around 100 RMB. after we agreed to upgrade and got up to our room. (Please see picture below)that was the river room. Nothing like a river view room that we have ever experienced.   When we called the manager to ask for the river room, we got upgraded to a higher floor( see the picture attached)  again not a river view room that we would ever called it.  Dinner.  We book our dinner in the Chinese restaurant Xianggong (香宫) not to mention their service was extremely slow. We waited for our noodle until the last course to be served like a hour. Please see the picture attach. This is the picture on the menu that  I was expecting please see picture attached that is the noodle that got served to me. a although I understand in some situation, the picture is just for reference, but I think at this case this is extremely misrepresented.  Another dish we orders “ wagyu beef with mushrooms. “ again we questioned this is hardly wagyu beef and please see the picture below. That’s the dish we got served, nothing like the picture again.  It was deeply disappointing experience, and we booked based on the Shangri -La name and our previous experiences.   Although  Shangri Guilin has his beautiful landscape and infrastructure, the service is clearly not a Shanghai standard.”

😅 I thought I booked a room with a view, but it turns out the 'view' was *inside* the room 😂, not outside. Plus, there's a hospital right next door 🏥🫣😓 **Facilities:** The room's facilities are very well-designed. The shower, toilet, and sink are all separate, which is great for a family with different needs using them simultaneously. The breakfast buffet didn't have a huge variety of dishes, but the taste was decent. The freshly made Guilin rice noodles were delicious, and the takeaway coffee was a nice touch (saved me some money 😁). **Cleanliness:** The hygiene was spot on, but I do have one small suggestion: the sofa cover in the living room was a bit scratchy 🥲. **Environment:** The view outside the window wasn't great. The room I booked must be one of those 'influencer' rooms 😉, as I took some great videos and photos inside (they turned out really well)! 😊 **Service:** After checking in at the front desk, a butler helped me with my luggage and showed me to my room. They also explained the hotel's facilities and services, which was very thoughtful. The butler's responses to messages were also very prompt 😊. Very, very, very, very satisfied! They even washed my little one's clothes and delivered them back to the room! 😚😚 Overall, the experience was pretty good. And they even gave me some Luo Han Guo tea when I checked out 🍵😊. Thanks a lot!

📍 **Great Location, Yet Peaceful** The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from West Street, but surprisingly quiet. It was a really comfortable stay. 🏊‍♀️ **Five-Star Facilities** The huge swimming pool and kids' play area kept my children entertained for hours—they didn't want to leave! A must-visit if you're traveling with little ones. 📸 **Picture-Perfect Spot** The Sky Mirror on the 9th floor of Building A offers breathtaking views! A trip to Yangshuo isn't complete without snapping some beautiful photos here. 🍳 **Delicious Breakfast** The restaurant served a rich and tasty breakfast that satisfied our whole family. 🛁 **Highly Recommend This Room Type** We stayed in the 270-degree balcony room with a private plunge pool and a large bathtub. The room offered direct views of Yangshuo's mountains and rivers. Soaking in the pool, enjoying snacks, and admiring the scenery—it was truly luxurious!

After a careful selection process, I ended up with a truly disappointing hotel! I arrived full of expectations, but upon checking in at the lobby, the whole place felt more like a guesthouse. The service team also lacked professionalism and didn't live up to the hotel's price tag. After check-in, a staff member took my luggage to the room. The room lighting was dim and uncomfortable. The guest room was right by the road, and the soundproofing was terrible; I could clearly hear all the traffic. The bathroom size was decent, but the toilet wasn't smart, was difficult to flush, and splashed water! The TV was small, but you could cast to it. And believe it or not, the complimentary welcome fruit was rotten! There were no trash cans in the room, so I had to take all my trash to the bathroom. Dinner was the most disheartening part! It was incredibly bad! Every single dish was unappetizing, with the only acceptable one being the stir-fried bok choy. The moment the first dish arrived, I knew it was going to be a disaster. The serving order was completely messed up; cold dishes weren't served first. Instead, they brought out a hot stir-fried beef dish, and I immediately knew it was over. When ordering takeout, I was told it could only be delivered to the guardhouse, but I could contact guest services to have it brought to my room. For a resort-style hotel, breakfast only runs until 10:00 AM, whereas most resorts serve breakfast until at least 11 AM or later. However, after that first dinner, we didn't even bother with breakfast, and we avoided every meal afterward, afraid of hitting another culinary low.

This Luxury Collection hotel is truly fantastic! The moment you step in, you're hit with an incredible sense of design; every snap is Instagram-worthy. The staff's service is exceptionally personalized – they seem to anticipate your needs without you even asking. Breakfast is bountiful, offering both local specialties and Western pastries, and everything tastes authentically Guangxi. The room is spacious and comfortable, the bedding is so inviting you just want to sink in and sleep, and the high-floor views from the window are absolutely stunning. I initially expected a hotel of this caliber to be a bit cold, but every single detail made me feel so warm and welcomed. My overall impression after staying here is: worth every penny! I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit, and I highly recommend it to all my friends coming to the area!

Came to Nanning to visit Mixc City and chose the Crowne Plaza. It was incredibly convenient for daily outings – the metro entrance leads directly to the hotel, and going downstairs for shopping and late-night snacks was a breeze. The room was on a high floor with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering a wide-open view; you could see the entire city's nightscape in the evening. The mattress was just the right firmness, and the toiletries felt high-quality, showing great attention to detail. Allen, the front desk attendant, provided excellent service; check-in was fast, and there's even a robot that delivers takeout to your room door. The hotel has its own pool and gym, perfect for relaxing in your free time. Overall, it's cozy and down-to-earth, suitable for both leisure travel and short business trips. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Nanning.

The hotel is beautiful, spotless, and the service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive. They introduced us to Guilin's famous rice noodles, and were especially patient in explaining the hotel's mascot, the cormorant, to my child, even taking into account our dietary restrictions. A special thanks to Daisy in the executive lounge and Emily at the front desk during check-out. They both truly showed their passion for their work and their dedication to guests.

The room was large and spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a mountain view as soon as you open the curtains. They even upgraded us for free to a twin-bed family room. The breakfast was delicious, and the evening dessert drink was good too. Parking was convenient, with a huge free parking lot right at the entrance! I'll definitely stay here again next time.

The hotel is located right by Rong Lake, near the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, which is very quiet. In the mornings, you can hear birds chirping from the park. It's a 15-minute walk to the free Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area, and a 7-minute walk to see the Sun and Moon Pagodas at night, where you can also take a cruise. This location pretty much covers all the attractions in Guilin city. All the hotel staff were lovely, and I especially want to thank a female staff member or supervisor at the front desk – I'm not entirely sure which she was. It had been raining for days, and after checking out, we canceled our train to Yangshuo, fearing flooding and that we wouldn't be able to enjoy ourselves there. She told us that since we had traveled so far, we should still go and see it, as the scenery is beautiful and it doesn't rain constantly; we wouldn't know until we got there. So, we re-bought our tickets and went. She even helped us make a waterproof cover for our child's camera, which was incredibly thoughtful. When we got there, we found it hadn't rained for the past two days, and we were able to enjoy bamboo rafting and everything. The scenery truly was breathtaking, and it was definitely worth the trip! Coming all the way from Beijing, it certainly made our long journey worthwhile. We came here in a hurry this time and didn't plan anything, relying entirely on the information and advice from the front desk concierge. Their explanations made everything so much clearer. We'll definitely choose this place again for our next trip.

The room, facilities, and views were absolutely perfect. For a luxury hotel, I usually look forward to the service the most, but this time I was a bit disappointed. I was contacted by phone the afternoon before, but after failing to connect on WeChat, there was no follow-up regarding booking any hotel activities. Upon arrival, after calling to ask about parking, the butler helped arrange a welcome ceremony, which was very local and unique, and offered me some 'bingfen' (a local dessert) to try. Check-in was handled in a separate area. The front desk lady wasn't very chatty, didn't smile much, and after confirming my reservation, didn't provide any information about the hotel. Perhaps she assumed the butler would cover that. There was a brief introduction to the room, but no explanation of the Wi-Fi or mini-bar usage. All of this was later conveyed through standardized messages via the butler's corporate WeChat. My suitcase had two wheels damaged from rough handling. I asked the bellhop if the engineering department could temporarily glue them, but he simply said it wasn't possible. The Eggs Benedict at breakfast weren't very good; I'd suggest the restaurant management taste them themselves. I also asked for a celery mixed juice, and two different staff members immediately said they didn't have it. Eventually, a lady in a blue uniform said it could be made, but there would be an extra charge. Since I was only staying one night, I wanted to have some clothes ironed, but it turned out they needed to be sent to a laundry facility in Nanning, which was quite unexpected. I tried the rope-making activity, but the instructor didn't seem to fully understand it herself. I had booked it hoping to bring home something handmade, but it ended up being an awkward experience. The hotel actually has quite a few activities, but I suggest they take them more seriously, especially given the price point. I came into this trip with high expectations, but these experiences were a bit unacceptable.
