W recepcji powiedziano mi, że cena Ctripa jest najgorsza, więc musiałem zapłacić więcej! Druga noc dodała 130 euro. Na dole znajdują się tętniące życiem restauracje, co czyni go niezwykle wygodnym. Pokoje są bardzo przestronne i z łatwością pomieszczą trzy- lub czteroosobową rodzinę. Są w pełni wyposażone, co pozwala na gotowanie jak w domu. Hotel oferuje szeroki wybór świeżo przygotowywanych śniadań. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, jest całkiem nieźle. Jedynym minusem jest hałaśliwe otoczenie; w restauracjach i barach na dole panuje hałas do 2-3 nad ranem każdego dnia.

The hotel is about 5 min from the metro station Omonia. However, it is probably not the safest place to walk around. The staffs are always busy among themselves so it is quite challenging to ask for help. The elevators are quite small. Although there are more than one elevators, they are not very visible. The selection of the breakfast is surprisingly good. The room design is a little weird. The bathroom and the toilet are separated, while the handwash basin is outside near the bed.

Athens Airport has long been my gateway between Ireland and Israel, and Sofitel is the only real comfortable option for an overnight layover. The location is unbeatable — you just walk out of the terminal, cross three zebra crossings, and you’re in the lobby. The hotel is definitely 5-star and feels it in cleanliness and comfort. The room was spotless and quiet, and I appreciated the complimentary coffee and water. However, prices are steep. Normally it’s around €400 per night for two adults and a child, though I managed to book midweek for about half that. Still expensive, but I wanted comfort — and got it. The booking didn’t clearly confirm if an extra bed was included for my child, and neither Trip nor the hotel replied to my message, though we did get the bed in the end without extra charge. Breakfast is not included in the high price, and €30 per person felt excessive, so we skipped it. Also, food options are overpriced — €22 for a “Greek salad” that oddly came with ricotta. We ended up getting Burger King from the terminal, much better value. The indoor pool was clean but the water was colder than expected and the size modest. The shower had fluctuating warm water, a small annoyance but tolerable for one night. Overall: great convenience and comfort for an airport hotel, but pricing for food and extras feels unreasonable.

4 mins away from the nearest station which is alright for it's price. I stayed here for one night so it was okay, I tried booking a transfer to the port and it was quite expensive (28 euros) I think rather just book an Uber next time!

Hotel znajduje się przy morzu, oferuje piękny widok i łatwy dostęp do plaży. Pracownicy byli wyjątkowo przyjazne i uważne, zawsze upewniając się, że czułem się wygodnie i dobrze dbałem o. Pokoje były nowoczesne, czyste i przemyślane, z relaksującym atmosferą. Szczególnie cieszyłem się śniadaniemit był świeży, smaczny i z lokalnymi smakami. Wyposażenie były dobrze utrzymane, a całkowity wibe hotel był stylowy, ale przytulny. Z pewnością zostanę tu jeszcze raz!

I was impressed with this hotel for the price I paid. Very centralised, with the metro station right there. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets only steps away. The hotel itself is very comfortable. Though my room was a bit small, it’s all you need. Lots of pillows on the bed. Fluffy towels, and all the great amenities. They give you everything you need, and then some. Free water as well. The breakfast was copious. So much choices. I love the terrace. There are jacuzzis on the terrace! I also ate at the restaurant, which as very good. The staff are very friendly. The deco is cool as well. I’ll come back next time I’m in Athens.
