„The housekeeping service is not professional, they placed our pyjamas and personal items originally in bed next to our suitcase wheels (and other not clean area) while they changed bed sheets for us. Then we asked for laundry service of those items, the next day they returned the items to us, and half of them were still wet. We were quite frustrated by this . Also the locker room arrangement system was not updated effectively: My room number was updated for upgrade and obviously my assigned ski locker was not tied to the updated room #, then one night, i found my ski locker was emptied out! (because they thought i had checked out, based on the old incorrect room number). Luckily their staffs kept my stuffs and i found them back... Other than that, we are satisfied with the facility/ reception staff service/ location. We are especially satisfied w the staff - Harry for his servicem”

„Love our stay there. Rooms have view of slope or nature. Just beisde Ningle Terrace and you can walk further down to the winter forest, so magical. Hotel has express bus service and private car services are conveniently bookable. The only disadvantage is it's further to the train stations. However we were able to come here directly by Ski Liner from Tomamu and leave with Lavender bus to Asahikawa, it also goes to Furano and Biei directly. Hot spring resort is so so, not much facilities and a small place. It's pity they don't provide free shuttle bus or free entry to nearby snowlands.”

„We had a pleasant 2-night stay at this refined ryokan, centrally located in Noboribetsu and just steps away from the Jigokudani (Hell Valley) and trail access to the surrounding area and a natural foot bath in the woods. Upon arrival, we received a courteous welcome and were served a small treat and matcha before entering our suite. Our suite was a comfortable and spacious western style room (two twin beds) with private outdoor onsen and sitting balcony overlooking the lush foliage of the hillside. All meals were served in the dining room of our suite through a service door. Meals are omakase style—exquisite and tastefully presented, with dishes that varied each day, nothing repeated. Though we enjoyed the public onsens (particularly the outdoor baths on the ground floor), we most preferred the luxury of having our own private onsen. I highly recommend this ryokan if you’re looking for an elevated onsen experience!”

The food was fantastic with some local options and a wide range of western and Asian offerings. „I chose this hotel specifically for its private bath, only to discover that reservations must be made 2-3 months in advance via email/phone call. The hotel does provide a shuttle bus from Sapporo city, which typically takes about an hour, but you also need to book that at least a month in advance, according to various bloggers. It was quite disappointing not to enjoy the private bath experience and to have to arrange our own transportation from/back to the city. The frustrating part is that you wouldn’t know the advance booking requirement when you make a reservation through Trip.com or similar platforms. The location of the hotel is excellent, very convenient for getting around Sapporo, with many attractions, shops, and restaurants nearby. The phone was not working, and part of a wall fixture was coming off, which raised safety concerns for us as parents. However, we would like to highlight the very professional reaction of the hotel staff. Once we reported the problem, they responded quickly and seriously. They upgraded us to their biggest room and fixed the issue, making sure we felt comfortable and reassured. Their attitude and willingness to solve the problem made a big difference and turned a negative first impression into a positive experience. Another strong point of the hotel is the restaurant inside the hotel, which was excellent. The food quality was very good, and the convenience of having such a good restaurant on-site was invaluable for us as a family. We ended up eating there almost every night. Overall, while we were initially disappointed with the condition of the first room, we were very satisfied with how the staff handled the situation, the great location, and the quality of the restaurant. Thanks to their responsiveness and professionalism, we still had a pleasant stay and would consider returning in the future.”
