洗手間的透氣窗是直通室外的，晚上開燈後會有蚊子飛進來、小壁虎爬進來。房間可能是因為太過於潮濕有一股氣味。不過，酒店的服務很好，我們第二天早上去Safari由於越野車卡在了泥坑裡耽誤了時間，回酒店比較晚，酒店還打電話過來問我們需不需要留出我們的早餐。

On arrival to the hotel the staff were great and welcoming. The room was clean and very spacious. The walls could do with a fresh paint and the curtains need to be washed but otherwise it was a great room. The location is good just a short walk from Main Street. The breakfast was amazing. Keeping in mind this is a 3 star hotel, the positives are the rooms are big with a balcony looking out at amazing views (ours anyway), and the pool is clean and quite big also with amazing views and a concrete elephant water feature!!! The location of the hotel is pretty good too - far enough from other properties to be quiet but close enough to Ella main drag that you can walk in 10-15 minutes or pay a tuk tuk driver double the rate of Colombo to get to and from. The big negative for us was that despite being told upon checking in that the room would be cleaned every day, it was not. And I was told the reason why was that we didn’t hand in our key for it to be done - which seems bizarre after staying in hotels for decades and not being told to or having to hand in a key in order to get a standard daily room clean. The insinuation that it was our fault for not handing in a key (not that we were told to do so on checking in) was extremely irritating. Food was ok but overpriced so we ate elsewhere (lots of options). There were lots of little things in the rooms that could be easily addressed to make them nicer - definitely not having ripped old bath towels, and removing an empty TV bracket from the wall (like a TV used to be there but not anymore - or was it just our room, who knows). All these little things add up to I really think the room rate is too high - but we are here in the high season so maybe that’s just the going rate.

This hotel is beautiful and modern. Location is great, easy to get to restaurants and shops outside of the hotel. Staff have been very attentive and helpful. They clean the rooms promptly. The laundry service is great. The staff even ran to help us push the car up the hill when it was stuck. Room service food has been very good too, their devilled chicken and pizza were the best. Highly recommend staying with Te Dalu if you are visiting Ella.

Our stay here was absolutely remarkable, and we highly recommend this place to everyone. The staff are some of the kindest, most generous, and genuinely involved people we have ever encountered — their warmth truly made our stay unforgettable. The surroundings are peaceful, and it’s magical to watch animals right from the pool. The food is extraordinary — both breakfast and dinner were among the most delicious meals we had in Sri Lanka. The rooms are spacious and offer beautiful views over the fields, where we could see peacocks, buffaloes, and other wildlife. Another highlight is that the hotel provides bicycles for free, making it easy and fun to explore the nearby area. The pool is large and perfect for relaxing, rounding out a truly special experience. We will definitely be coming back and can’t recommend this place enough.

酒店在山林裏，環境很好，有很大的露台，老闆是一對很和善的夫妻，早餐也很豐盛，紅茶很好喝，可以在酒店附近各種拍照，在樓台拍到了星空，銀河和螢火蟲。性價比超級高，非常推薦
