Pleasant and well-located hotel. I'm only not giving it 5 stars because of the room service, which needs improvement (bed linen sometimes torn and one of the mini-fridges seems to be malfunctioning). But generally speaking, I recommend it, as it's a comfortable space good for families and has a good breakfast.

The place is beautiful, and the amenities were great. We really had a good time. But I have to be honest about a few things that were negative. We booked a room called the lovers room which was ~600 euros per night and the photos advertised were showing a room that was not the one we got. The room we got was still amazing, with many amenities, spaceous, great design, but it was not what was advertised. We even hired a photographer because it was our 1 year anniversary assuming we would get the room advertised which was two floors and had great views. We also called to mention that it was our anniversary the day before and the only thing they could offer was a wine bottle or a cake which is ok, but the service didn't make anything special about it. I think they have to be trained better for these things, because at the dinner, they sat us in a pretty bad table and we had to ask to be changed to a better one, but they should know this since I called in to tell them it was our anniversary. The dinner was also very slow. We sat for 1 hour with only bread. And the food was ok, not bad, not great, we paid 200 euros for an ok meal. And we had to wait hours because they were under staffed. One lady was serving near 10 tables. It was not a good experience. Finally, a boutique hotel that opens the sauna at 11am feels not well thought of. I think they have to figure out how to make the recovery amenities open from very early around 6/7am to very late around 10/11pm to accommodate for all guests. The final thing was that there was no butler and guests are expected to carry bags from the the parking to the lobby. I think they need to hire a butler at the entrance. Thats basically my feedback for this hotel given the price which is what you pay per night at the best 5 star hotels. Apart from that, again, the service was kind and helpful, the hotel design is beautiful and the location is insanely gorgeous. The rooms are also very well done.

The common rooms of decoration is elegant and beautiful. Very suitable to take photos and I love the huge Christmas tree in the hall as I took many beautiful photos there. Breakfast has a lot of choices and you can order cappuccino and latte, they brought them effectively. Overall, it is very good. But I don’t know why they gave me the room at the very end of the building.

We were originally scheduled to fly home on the same morning as our son, but on different flights. Around 5 AM that day, we found out our son's flight was canceled, while ours was still on schedule, leaving us with very little time. Our son wanted to stay an extra day at this hotel to use their gym (we had stayed there for a night two days prior). In my haste to book, I accidentally put my husband's name instead of my son's as the guest. We quickly checked on it after our flight landed, and thankfully, our son successfully checked in. So grateful! 😊 The Uber ride from the hotel to the airport was only CAD$6.

From now on Evolution Lisbon will my favorite hotel in Lisbon. It is the best in Lisbon! I made it my home during my 14 day remote working trip. The 24 hours sauna and gym are extraordinary service, really suits solo remote workaholic like me who does not want to be bound by fixed schedules when concentrated in work. The surrounding of the hotel has ALL that you need. From supermarkets, malls, to even dance studios, all that you need is in walking distance. Reception ladies are formidable, I particularly like the sweet trainee who received my contact lens parcel I ordered online to be delivered at the hotel. She is sweet and helpful; also her colleagues who without any doubts helped with printing some documents which I needed urgently. And the housekeeping team, although I did not need cleaning everyday (I have OCD so the room was always kept clean haha) the housekeepers kept asking me if I needed anything. I did not use the co working area but it looked very relaxing and stylish. And something special about the room: the fridge. It has a size that is different from what we are used to (4 drinks and no more) It looks tiny from outside but it could cater my 5 day snacks, including a 1.5l coke. I think it is the door design? Check it out and you will know what I am talking about haha. Lastly I only have 2 suggestions (not critics!) One is that the hotel should offer its guests discounts when spending in its F&B outlets. This would make guests feel special when inviting a friend for a drink in the hotel property. Even 5% is good. Another is to install a mirror in the gym. Gym lovers like to see what they are doing wrong :) Thank you Team for providing me such a good time in Lisbon!

The room overlooked the sea, and the view was absolutely stunning. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the service was superb. The staff even offered us welcome champagne when we checked in, which was a lovely and warm gesture.

Sehr sauberes Hotel, super Service. Da wir bereits zum Flughafen fahren mussten, hat man uns für 5:00 Uhr (ab 4:00 möglich) etwas für den Frühstück vorbereitet (Gebäck, Obst und man konnte sich Kaffee und Tee zubereiten), fanden wir toll, da wir beim üblichen Zeiten (ab 7:00 Uhr) nicht am Frühstück teilnehmen konnten.

Although I received the news that the Sintra scenic spot was closed due to weather relations the day before, the hotel was booked, and it was still set off from Lisbon according to the original plan. Because the original order to Sintra to go directly to the first Pena Palace, but the night before the announcement was closed before the afternoon, I had to walk to the hotel first. (The hotel is in the downtown area of Sintra, about 1k from the train station, but the scenery along the road is good, walking is very ok) I want to say that I will at least put a luggage first. But I didn't expect to check in around 12pm, and the hotel let me enter the room early! It's great not to take shelter from the rain for2-3 hours outside now! ! So I have been brushing the news comfortably in the room, and finally opened the scenic spot in the afternoon. When the rain stopped, I rushed to the Pena Palace! The next day the weather finally cleared, and it was easy to walk directly to the Regalera Palace. And the name of the room I lived in was the same as my English name, and it was too honorable! Worthy of being a five-star hotel! The hotel was built in 1764 and is very historical, but it is well maintained everywhere, will not have a sense of oldness, and it is very comfortable to live in. Breakfast can be picked up except bread, toast, pastries, juice, milk, water, etc., the rest are made now, a lot of excitement, the waiter still maintains a very friendly attitude, help me to have a whole table of meals, although I eat very full, But I still have the responsibility to eat all the meals, the taste is also very good! What surprised me even more was that the jam with bread turned out to be directly for the mini jar, and it was self-pick, really big. The point is that the special price is super close to the people, and there is no need to carry blood with the poaching. It's just that the weather in the Portuguese mountains in winter is really not good, and you need to be mentally prepared. But if it is really miserable to go to the scenic spot, I can't go there at all. I think it's worth it to stay here for one night. Really recommend 🥰🥰

Small cosy hotel in the Bairro Alto district which is closed off to Ubers. Taxis and personal transport needs to call from an intercom to get the bollards to the be lowered so you can be dropped off at the hotel entrance. Alternatively you can wait for your uber at the back of the hotel on Sao Pedro Alacantara road which is a very busy narrow road. Hotel is a short walk to Miradouro Sao Pedro Alacantara which has a magnificent view. Also walking distance to many Lisbon sights like Carmo archaeological museum, Rossi square, Praca commercio, etc. Breakfast is good albeit the same every day. Roof top view is spectacular. Service staff at breakfast is very polite and efficient. Front desk staff however is hit and miss. Sometimes you are ignored when you enter the hotel, at times you are warmly greeted. A point to note is the hotel is situated on a street with bars and the noise, shouting and revelry can last till 3am on the weekends. Closing the window shutters can lessen it somewhat but if you are a light sleeper the noise can be irritating. All in this hotel is nice if you don’t mind the transport inconveniences and the noise from the bars.

During our three-night stay in Lisbon, one of our family members suddenly developed acute gastroenteritis in the evening around 8 p.m. We called the front desk, and a staff member immediately came to our room and helped us identify the most suitable hospital. After we decided where to go, we went down to the lobby to take a taxi. To our surprise, the front desk manager Andre personally came to us and asked if we needed him to accompany us to the hospital. We were deeply touched and gladly accepted his kind offer. Because of communication issues between our insurance company and the hospital, we had to switch to another hospital. Throughout the process, the manager patiently coordinated with the hospital and ensured we were safely transferred and properly received. He stayed with us until we were registered and had an appointment with the emergency doctor before returning to the hotel. We are truly grateful to all the hotel staff—the front desk team, restaurant staff, and even the tour guide—for their exceptional care and support. We would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again on our next visit to Lisbon.
