⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at the Lijiang Shanhai Villa Resort Hotel was absolutely exceptional! We were greeted with breathtaking views of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain right from our room, making every moment a visual delight. The hotel is located in a secluded and quiet neighborhood, perfect for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. The highlight of our stay was the outstanding service provided by the lady at check-in (Xiao Mei). She was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Not only did she assist us with our needs, but she also drove us to Lijiang town to explore the local night market, where we savored delicious local delicacies. On the way, she even stopped at the stunning Lijiang Cherry Blossom Avenue for us to capture some beautiful photos. Overall, the hospitality we received was top-notch, and we left feeling completely satisfied. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat with exceptional service!

This hotel was fantastic! The room was beautiful and the amenities were in very good condition, especially the hot spring bath in the hotel room. The hotel manager was extremely helpful. I didn’t have much planned when I arrived but he gave me great recommendations and even helped me book all the necessary arrangements. The hotel manager is also very knowledgeable about tea and spent a lot of time teaching me about tea. This hotel has a warm, personal feel that you cannot find at large hotels. I definitely recommend staying here.

I had a soothing and comfortable short stay at 山隅一舍. The staff was very personable, accommodating, and kind, proactively offering tea/coffee and prepared fruit. The room was clean and had a great view of the courtyard. At check-in, she even offered to upgrade the two-bed room I had booked to a room with a single larger bed but I was happy to stay in the original room as it was already prepared. I stillfound it to be a very thoughtful offer. The beds were also equipped with heating mats, which offered great sleep in the winter weather. The neighbors have some roosters that rise early, but I found it quite charming and fitting for the “out of the big city” ambiance. I could honestly just sit in the courtyard all day watching the cat and the fish. It was truly a tranquil oasis in a town that sees many domestic and international tourists. The breakfast also tasted clean, fresh, and was promptly prepared by the host when I woke up. She was also happy to offer recommendations to both myself and other guests (I even overheard her going the extra mile, offering to pickup pastries for the other guests to try at their request). The B&B is situated very close to the ancient town without being overwhelming, which although quite commercialized, is still a fun stroll since it’s nearby. The location is also a short DiDi ride away from many sights along Erhai Lake. Dali is full of independently-run accommodations and shops like this, but this one stood out for its great hospitality and soothing environment. The cost performance was also great. A hidden gem for sure!

Another great option for homestay, I love the place, where is private and also near the Erhai Park which you can chill there. The service was very good! Facilities, and some devices are very good quality, which make us feel very safe!

彝人古鎮這個點是臨時決定去的，昆明和大理中間，本想衹是中轉一下，卻意外邂逅了一個具有彝族特色的古鎮風貌，同時也看到了不一樣江南水鄉的風景。入住的這家隱居民宿也是這次旅行驚喜之一，這個藏在彝人古鎮內部的小院子僅有四間房，但每個房間都很大，各有特色，院子有多公共區域給客人使用，水景休息區、很多綠植、茶室等，整體很有禪意，很安靜，非常推薦。

So I traveled here for my mom's 60th birthday. We had 3 nights at the beautiful villa with the amazing sunrise view. We didn't bother the villa butler that much cuz we had most of each day in the parks or botanical gardens, the villa butler was very nice to arrange our breakfast. The peak season has yet to come, so the villa sounds super quiet but yes! That made me feel relaxed every single minute.

I’ve just returned to my home country, and I’m already missing my stay at Aromatic Hotel! The location is perfect—nestled right at the foot of Yulong Mountain, where you can witness the breathtaking golden sunrise every morning. The hospitality at Aromatic Hotel is exceptional. Even before our arrival, they contacted us with helpful details about check-in and provided valuable information about Yuhu Village. As female travelers, we truly appreciated how attentive, caring, and thoughtful they were throughout our stay. The most amazing surprise was the room upgrade! They gave us a spacious room with stunning mountain views. It was warm and cozy, thanks to the staff who made sure the heater was on before we arrived. The bed and pillows were incredibly fluffy, and we had the most restful sleep. A special highlight of the hotel was the adorable cats and kittens—they added such a charming and homely touch to the experience. If you’re visiting the area, I highly recommend staying at Aromatic Hotel. With its amazing location, thoughtful hospitality, and cozy atmosphere, it’s truly an unforgettable place to stay.

Amazing experience, very clean ans the best personal ever

酒店坐落在別墅羣裏，環境是難得的幽靜，再加7月的天氣，相較於其它城市的高温天，版納時晴時雨，雨後天氣變得很涼爽，環境，天氣，酒店不錯的服務，都讓這趟旅行有種極致的放鬆和不錯的體驗。所以，去版納玩，如果想要的是體驗不同的風土人情，加有不錯的入住體驗，完全可以選擇離繁華地段較遠的這家酒店。

Выбранный дом полностью соответствует фото. Хозяева приветливые, быстро ориентируют по любым вопросам. В номере производилась ежедневная уборка. Дом расположен на территории большого и живописного коттеджного поселка. С парковочными местами проблем не было. Как там передвигаться без собственного или арендного автомобиля, не знаю. Кроме того, данная территория хоть и находится на расстоянии 10 км от города, но из-за плохой городской инфраструктуры поездки до центра всегда занимали 30-45 минут. Помимо прочего, бассейн, изображенный на фото отеля в период нашего пребывания (новогодние праздники) не работал, что было весьма неожиданно. Ну и вдобавок, на территории коттеджного поселка вообще нет ни одного западного ресторана или кафе, а выбор имеющихся тайских/юньнаньских довольно ограниченный. В целом, место очень интересное и необычное, но для иностранных гостей есть свои нюансы...
