We absolutely loved our stay at Shanyuyishe Boutique B&B in Dali Ancient City. The location was perfect for us — tucked away in a peaceful corner near Dali Ancient City, yet only a short walk to the shops, cafés, and attractions. What truly made the stay special was the hospitality. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, helping us with our luggage, preparing breakfast every morning, and always making sure we were comfortable. The breakfast was simple but delicious, especially the rice noodles, which we looked forward to each morning. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We especially loved the beautiful courtyard and the overall peaceful atmosphere. A couple of things to note for families and travellers with larger luggage. The beautiful courtyard has a koi pond running through parts of it, which adds to the charm, but I was constantly keeping an eye on my kids as I was worried they might accidentally fall in. Thankfully, nothing happened, but it’s something parents with young children may want to be aware of. Another consideration is luggage. Vehicles can stop near the property, but you’ll still need to carry your luggage across parts of the courtyard. If you’re staying on Levels 2 or 3, there is no lift, so luggage has to be carried up manually. The owner was kind enough to help us, but it’s still worth considering if you’re travelling with multiple large suitcases. For our family room, one small downside was that although the room was very spacious, there was only one air-conditioner serving the entire unit. The smaller bedroom felt a little stuffy and warm at night. That said, the owner was very responsive and quickly provided us with a fan the next day, which made a huge difference and solved the issue for us. Overall, the warmth of the host, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, and peaceful setting far outweighed these minor inconveniences. We’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cosy and authentic stay in Dali. ❤️🏔️✨

One day in Haidong, as if living in a picture frame I stayed in Kunming for two days on the weekend to escape from work Originally, I planned to stay in Haixi for two nights. By coincidence, I had dinner with an old friend at this hotel. I was shocked by the sunset in the restaurant. The key is that such a beautiful restaurant tastes good, so I decisively checked out of the room in Haixi and decided to stay immediately I booked a family room. The room is very large and the bed is super comfortable. The room is in a single-family villa with a large and beautiful terrace garden for taking pictures and watching the sea. There is also a function area downstairs where you can cook and play mahjong. It is very suitable for families or sisters to travel together The afternoon tea served in the sea view restaurant is also very exquisite. Sitting in the restaurant, you can overlook the 19 peaks and 18 streams of Cangshan Mountain. The unpredictable clouds cover the top of the mountain like snow. After a while, they slowly roll over and coil between the mountains like jade belts. Columns of light pass through the sky like crystals. I sat and watched the clouds for an afternoon, and I felt that I couldn’t see enough.

Located in a residential complex, the front desk staff came out to collect our luggage as soon as we parked. We checked in quickly and were taken to our room. The balcony was a nice touch, but beware of mosquitoes. The room was quite comfortable, with a sofa. However, because it's so close to Dianchi Lake, you can hear the sounds from the late-night snack stalls. If you need extra quiet, be careful not to stay near the road. But it's certainly close to Dianchi Lake. As for breakfast, it was beautiful, and it was a lovely experience to eat in the garden. Also, takeout is convenient and the food is delicious.

This guesthouse is a rustic wooden courtyard, perfect for relaxing in the sunshine during the day, enjoying the views. It's ideal for couples, friends, or families. The rooms are very spacious, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, making it clean and bright – very reassuring to stay in. It's incredibly close to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, so you don't have to rush out early. You can sleep in and then take your time heading out. You can even see the 'Golden Mountain' sunrise glow on the snow-capped peaks right from your bed; waking up to a mountain view is truly delightful. The materials and decor have a natural, rustic feel. Every corner of the courtyard and rooms is incredibly photogenic; you'll get great shots effortlessly! Breakfast is substantial, featuring Yunnan rice noodles, congee, eggs, corn, and more. It's delicious and healthy, with thoughtful details. If you're visiting Lijiang and want to explore the snow mountain, stay somewhere quiet and comfortable, and have a great experience, then this place is definitely worth trying!

The most satisfying two nights in Yunnan, I am more used to staying in hotels, but Fengli B&B is indeed the right choice! Location: The taxi positioning is accurate. Behind the official hotel, there is a very quiet homestay area, and takeaways can be delivered. Environment: clean, warm, emotional, willing to work hard in the details, sincerity is the boss's hospitality, every time I meet, I will greet you warmly ～ Facilities: The twin room has a large space, the bedding is super comfortable, the pillows kill most hotels in seconds, the central air-conditioning ＋ wall-mounted air-conditioning, and the toiletries are dreamed back to college time in one second. Weight scales, sewing boxes, nail clippers, floss, masks, earplugs, etc. are available! There are two washing machines and one dryer in the common area, which can be used by self-service. Service: Drinking water, soda, snacks, fruit are all provided free of charge. Breakfast is served in the small restaurant with sour seeds and sugar. There are freshly cooked bait silk and rice noodles. The coffee is delicious! Please ask the boss to arrange a car drop-off in advance, and received a warm souvenir on the day of departure.～ Because the itinerary is tight, we basically leave early and return late, and we have not been able to experience the slow life of the homestay, but it does not affect my determination to strongly recommend Fengli!

Its a lovely place, not a bad location and if you get lucky with the weather it'll be a fantastic stay. The host is very helpful and really went above and beyond to be friendly and accommodating. She helped us to arrange taxis in the evening which cant be done through Didi. And, was generally very hospitable The hotel has an immense view, the outside seating area is great as well. But, the guest house as a whole is showing its age and has clearly seen a year or two of questionable maintainance. The bath in the room was visibly browned, the paint was going in a lot of places and there are just some randomly really untidy bits - that's not uncommon in other similar accommodations. The photo to news article machine outside the front is a prime example. This amazing view with fantastic communal space and every now and then it will just start chirping at you to buy a bit of tat. Still, we had a great time and overall I would say book it if it meets your criteria. Would stay again, but would consider other places too.

Unbeknownst to me, this has become my most tranquil home in Lijiang. Counting it up, for 7 consecutive years, I've stayed here at least twice a year. It's long ceased to be just a place to stay; it's truly become my home in this city. What I admire most is the meticulous attention to detail that has stood the test of time. After a full 7 years of staying here, the various equipment and facilities in the rooms show absolutely no signs of aging or wear and tear. Especially the thoughtful amenities in the bathroom, they still maintain the same quality and comfort as the first time I saw them. This level of dedicated maintenance is truly rare and commendable. Every time I push open the courtyard gate, that familiar scent of white flowers immediately envelops me, gently embracing me. And standing on the terrace, gazing out at the distant Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, seeing that eternal and magnificent scenery, brings a profound sense of peace and security. Of course, what keeps me coming back most is the attentive care from Anna and Lao Ai. Over the years, our relationship has long transcended that of landlord and guest; they are as kind and warm as family. I genuinely love it here, and whenever I come to Lijiang, I will only choose to return to this little courtyard that feels like my own.

I had planned to go to Banna for a few days during the Spring Festival. When I booked a hotel on Ctrip, I found that the room rates had doubled. The 7 Days Inn chain, which usually costs only over 100 yuan, also soared to over 1,000 yuan a night (the people of Banna want to make back the money they didn't make in three years in 7 days). What I hate most is these places that rip off customers like crazy during holidays. So I decided to change my plan and go to Luang Prabang, Laos. Since it is not possible to buy D87 transit train tickets during the Spring Festival, you can only buy tickets in sections, first Kunming-Mohan, then cross the border in Mohan to Boten, Laos, and then Boten-Luang Prabang. I took the train to Mohan on February 13th and booked this homestay on Ctrip. It has a high score of 4.8 on Ctrip, so it must be good. I contacted the hotel before arriving in Mohan, and the hotel guy said that he would pick me up at the train station and send me to the border the next day. Sure enough, as soon as I got out of the station, the young man was waiting on the road in front of the train station. After checking in, I was amazed by the intelligence of the hotel, including smart curtains, smart toilets, and showers with digital temperature display. The room was spacious and tidy, and the bedding was clean and fresh. Although I have stayed in many B&Bs, this one is definitely the ceiling among B&Bs. Moreover, the guy is very handsome, and I’m worried that the girl will continue to stay! The only regret is that the hotel does not have breakfast, it would be perfect if there was breakfast.

The location is excellent and the transportation is convenient. It takes 10 minutes to get to the airport. The boss will pick you up personally. Facilities: Very complete Hygiene: Very clean and tidy Environment: Comfortable environment, the best choice for watching the sea Service: The boss answered all our questions and very carefully introduced to us how to visit Erhai Lake. He also introduced us to all the routes and scenic spots.

The room was neat and clean with a beautiful view. The service was excellent; the owner helped us with our itinerary and even gave my family anti-chafing patches when he heard their feet were hurting. He also helped us with our luggage, going up and down multiple times – he really worked hard! The service was very attentive. The location is convenient, close to Erhai Lake, and there's an electric scooter rental shop nearby if you want to rent one to cycle around the lake. The breakfast was delicious; my family all enjoyed it very much.
