The Luna and Mariposa queen-size suites have beautiful bathrooms with showers and views of the gardens, while the Sangrillo king-size suite has a deep soaking bathtub with a separate shower and overlooks the pool. A short 15-minute walk from your oasis will take you to Playa Negra, a gorgeous black sand beach. There you will discover a lovely beachfront restaurant at Banana Azul or the Super Banana Gourmet Market with an outdoor cafe where you can have a coffee and pastry and use the internet. There are also numerous grocers and meat markets in Puerto Viejo to stock up for your provisions back at the villa. Be sure to check out the Sloth Sanctuary, the Jaguar Rescue Center, the Cahuita National Park, and the National Wildlife Refuge-Manzanillo, or rent bikes and ride the coastline visiting the small towns and their unique offerings, all within 30 minutes of your peaceful retreat.
