Hotele z: breakfast w Macau, China

Pokój nie był czysty, zużyty wacik kosmetyczny był przyklejony do lustra. Jedna z umywalek w pokoju była zatkana, woda w ogóle nie spływała. Najważniejsze jest to, że pokój był reklamowany jako ”rodzinny pokój z widokiem na morze”, ale w rzeczywistości tylko z balkonu, patrząc z boku, można było zobaczyć kawałek tego rzekomego morza (patrz zdjęcie), o Macau Tower nawet nie wspominając – widać było tylko drugą część hotelu. To było naprawdę wielkie rozczarowanie! Zadzwoniłem na recepcję z pytaniem, czy mogę zmienić pokój, a recepcjonistka powiedziała, że wszystkie rodzinne pokoje z widokiem na morze znajdują się w tym samym miejscu na każdym piętrze, więc widok z każdego pokoju jest mniej więcej taki sam… Czułem się, jakbym został oszukany. Izolacja akustyczna pokoju była słaba, hałas z korytarza i sąsiednich pokoi był bardzo głośny i przeszkadzał w odpoczynku. Centrum handlowe na dole miało bardzo mało sklepów, nie było tam nic ciekawego do obejrzenia.

Ten hotel jest dogodnie położony. Sklep, food court i kasyno znajdują się tuż pod hotelem. Prawie wszystkie markowe punkty sprzedaży detalicznej znajdują się w sklepie. Od sklepów po lokale gastronomiczne, po lokalne produkty upominkowe z Makau, są łatwo dostępne w sklepie. Ale szczerze mówiąc, ceny są wyższe niż w przypadku zakupów poza sklepem. Pokoje hotelowe są dwa razy większe niż w innych hotelach. Udogodnienia są bardzo podstawowe. Na przykład nie ma ekspresu do kawy. W pokoju są 2 zestawy telewizorów. Są bezpłatne usługi transferowe, takie jak na lotnisko, ale działają tylko po godzinie 11:00, co 15 minut.

The room was amazing, nicely decorated, confortable and very quiet. The hotel is close to the metro station as well as several bus stops that take you anywhere, whether on the Peninsula, in Taipa, Coloane or Cotai. The room is cleaned every day, and the supplies are replenished. The staff is very kind and helpful.

Overall we had an excellent stay at The Londoner and would gladly come back. The shuttle transfer from the Hengqin border was a bit confusing at first. The signage was not very clear and seemed to point in the wrong direction, and the employee at the pickup point unfortunately spoke neither Mandarin nor English. After some searching we managed to find the correct shuttle and arrived at the hotel without further problems. Once at the property we were immediately assisted by one of the staff members. Check-in can take some time since many guests arrive at the same time. If you travel as a group and request rooms on the same floor, the process may take even longer. It almost felt like receptionists had to compete with each other to secure rooms before they were assigned elsewhere. The organization seemed a little unusual, but eventually everything worked out. We were offered rooms on the same floor, which happened to be a smoking floor. The staff explained that smoke smell should not be noticeable. This turned out to be accurate. The rooms themselves had no smoke smell at all, and only a very faint smell was noticeable in the hallway. For non-smokers it is therefore perfectly manageable to stay on such a floor. The rooms themselves were excellent. They were spotless, spacious and very well equipped. Amenities included a coffee machine with capsules and creamer, more than enough drinking water, a large comfortable bed and easy-to-use electronic controls. The blackout curtains work perfectly for anyone who prefers complete darkness while sleeping. The bathroom area was also very spacious and featured a large mirror, a very nice shower, a bathtub and a Japanese-style toilet. One of our rooms was designed for disabled guests and therefore did not include a bathtub, which was perfectly fine. What stood out positively was how well the accessibility features were integrated. The bathroom was beautifully designed and did not feel like a simple retrofit, which is a very thoughtful touch for guests who need these facilities. The Londoner complex itself is huge and beautifully designed. Staff are present everywhere and are generally friendly and helpful. The complex focuses heavily on shopping and entertainment. Western food and bar options are somewhat limited, but this likely reflects the fact that Macau today caters largely to mainland Chinese visitors. We still easily found options such as the Cheesecake Factory and the Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, which served our needs well. One major advantage of the location is connectivity. From The Londoner you can walk via enclosed skybridges to the Four Seasons, The Venetian and The Parisian, and other casino resorts can be reached either on foot or with a short and inexpensive taxi ride. If you want to explore the historic Macau Peninsula, reaching the metro system from the casino complex is not entirely straightforward. However taxis are plentiful and affordable, making the trip very easy. There also appear to be public buses available, although we did not try them ourselves. Overall the hotel complex works very well as a base for visiting the other side of Macau. One small logistical note for travelers heading to Hong Kong Airport: the reception staff could only point us to bus services going to the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge terminal. Direct transfers from the hotel to Hong Kong Airport were not really available through the hotel, so we ended up arranging a private car ourselves. In practice the hotel can easily get you to the bridge terminal, but from there you will need to organize the onward journey yourself unless you book a private transfer in advance. Overall it was an incredible stay and a hotel we would happily choose again. Just keep in mind that Macau is not Las Vegas and caters much more to mainland Chinese visitors, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly.

Zatrzymaliśmy się na urodziny mojego męża i dostaliśmy darmowy tort. Hotel ma bezpośredni transfer z/do portu HKMB, co jest bardzo wygodne. James zapewnił nam wczesne zameldowanie i częściową aktualizację do widoku Wieży Eiffla. Obiekt jest utrzymany i czysty. Zdecydowanie wrócimy i zatrzymamy się tu ponownie

Gwiazdki: Bardzo podobała mi się obsługa Nany podczas zameldowania, była niezwykle skrupulatna i troskliwa. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, większość kobiet z obsługi jest bardzo pomocna i potrafi zrozumieć problemy gości podróżujących z dziećmi, co jest naprawdę miłe. Krytyka: Recepcjoniści płci męskiej są bardziej „interesujący”. Na przykład, jeśli zapytasz o duży namiot, odpowiedzą, że jest tylko dla gości z pokojami Executive. Gdy zapytałeś o dwa pokoje blisko siebie podczas rezerwacji, ich tok myślenia jest taki, że pokoje połączone byłyby droższe, ale odpowiadają ci, że „wszystko jest dziś zarezerwowane, nie ma możliwości zmiany”. To tak, jakby twoje drobne prośby były stanowczo odrzucane. Taki sposób komunikacji z klientem jest trochę ryzykowny. Plus: Mężczyźni z działu logistyki, którzy rozstawiali namioty, dostarczali szlafroki i montowali barierki, byli zarówno z Makau, jak i z Chin kontynentalnych. Wszyscy byli bardzo sprawni i uprzejmi. Kolejny plus: Porównując z odpowiedziami kobiet: „Duży namiot po rozłożeniu może utrudniać poruszanie się dzieciom, więc dostarczamy mniejszy do zabawy”, „Najbliższy pokój sąsiedni to pokój dwuosobowy, co może różnić się od rezerwacji, czy możemy przenieść się do pokoju naprzeciwko?” Cały pobyt był bardzo przyjemny, sprzątanie również było bardzo dokładne, z wyjątkiem męskich recepcjonistów, z którymi komunikacja była trudna…

The hotel was very good and staff friendly but in the last day we needed to go to Mainland through Zhuhai train station and we asked them to help us with taxi but was very crowded and in the end suggested us to take a publicbus but the instructions were not very clear and we almost lost the train. We waited a lot at the bus stop very crowded. We preferred that they suggest other options like free shuttle bus from casinos that they will bring you to the train station

Equally impressive is the room service and housekeeping. The rooms are maintained to a very high standard—spotlessly clean, well-organized, and refreshed with great attention to detail. The staff are discreet yet attentive, ensuring everything feels seamless without being intrusive. The resort itself is a destination on its own. The scale is enormous, yet aesthetically cohesive. The beautifully landscaped gardens, elegant pools, and European-inspired architecture create a unique atmosphere. There’s even a charming “castle-like” design element that adds a whimsical, almost fairytale touch to the surroundings—making it feel more like a luxury retreat than just a hotel. Overall, Grand Lisboa Palace is not just about luxury—it’s about execution. The combination of outstanding dining, meticulous service, and thoughtfully designed spaces makes it one of the most complete and satisfying resort experiences in Macau.

Zatrzymałem się w tym hotelu po podróży z Hongkongu i był on o wiele lepszy niż hotele w Hongkongu, które kosztowały trzysta lub czterysta więcej. Po pierwsze, pokoje były przestronne; po drugie, wystrój był nowy; po trzecie, wyposażenie łazienek było wysokiej jakości; po czwarte, pościel była wygodna; po piąte, śniadanie oferowało szeroki wybór pysznych dań kuchni chińskiej i zachodniej; po szóste, lokalizacja hotelu była doskonała, z dogodnym dojazdem komunikacją miejską do różnych atrakcji; po siódme, w pobliżu ulic Beijing i Shanghai znajdowało się wiele chińskich restauracji; po ósme, woda pod prysznicem była gorąca i obfita, porównywalna z pięciogwiazdkowym hotelem w Chinach kontynentalnych; po dziewiąte, pokoje były ciche; i po jedenaste, mimo że okna były zamknięte, centralna klimatyzacja zapewniała doskonałą wentylację, dzięki czemu powietrze było czyste i bez nieprzyjemnych zapachów… Pokoje były również ciche i dobrze izolowane. Zatrzymałem się na dwie noce, a następnie przedłużyłem pobyt o kolejne trzy i ogólnie byłem bardzo zadowolony. Jeśli nie szukasz luksusowego hotelu, to jest idealny wybór.

Tym razem chciałem zatrzymać się w pobliżu ruin św. Pawła. Pamiętam, że przechodziłem obok tego hotelu ostatnim razem i pomyślałem, że spróbuję, ponieważ ma portugalski charakter. Nie był drogi, ponad 600 z podwójnym śniadaniem. Hongkońska herbata mleczna i portugalski dorsz na śniadanie były pyszne! Lokalizacja jest doskonała, wszędzie na wyspie jest łatwo dotrzeć! To tylko pięć minut spacerem do ruin św. Pawła, a z tyłu jest wiele herbaciarni i kawiarni! Jedynym minusem było to, że łóżko było dość gorące, a poduszka wysoka. Ponieważ tego dnia, kiedy tam byliśmy, temperatura była poniżej 20 stopni, nawet z klimatyzacją ustawioną na 28 stopni, było zimno. Kiedy wyłączyliśmy klimatyzację i zasnęliśmy, łóżko znów się nagrzało. Ani ja, ani mój towarzysz nie spaliśmy dobrze, ale oferowane udogodnienia były na pięciogwiazdkowym poziomie!
