„The room was quite spacious. There were three of us, and they provided an extra bed. When I booked on Trip.com, I saw that the beds were listed as 1.3 meters, but they all turned out to be quite large – the double beds were mostly 1.8 meters, and the single beds were about 1 meter. This hotel is located on a hill, and we stayed on the second floor, which didn't have an elevator, but the staff helped with our luggage. Breakfast is available at the hotel. The staff confirmed our breakfast time the night before, and we could choose between local Sri Lankan breakfast and English breakfast. One of the local dishes was extremely spicy; I took one bite and started coughing non-stop. A young man saw this and immediately brought me a glass of water – the service was absolutely fantastic. The milk tea was delicious, sweet with a slight bitterness, a bit like Hong Kong's Yuanyang. Very good!”

„Very nice hotel, not far from Kandy's city center. We actually walked into town one day along the 2 lane winding road. The pool is very nice, there is a weight room to work out and a spa if you want a massage. Its very peaceful, has a nice view of nature and a nice little bar with some quality cocktails. If you are going to Kandy and you don't mind being a bit outside the city, this is a real good spot. I would post more pictures, but the site limits the size and its a lot of effort to shrink a photo just post it here.”

„The hotel hasn't done any maintenance in the rooms in years. Our room smelled like mold, and humidity. The shower kept changing temperature, sign of a bad water heater, and had sewage smell coming from the drainage. On our first night, the light switch in the bathroom started smoking and doing sparks everywhere - if we hadn't been there to call the reception right away, it would have been a severe fire hazard. The location is quite good as it is right on the lake, and Is a nice walk in the morning. The cleaners woke us up at 6.30 AM because they were slamming doors and screaming. I think this hotel is a 3star and not 4”

„I stayed at Hotel Sigiriya for two nights, and overall, my experience was quite good. The service was proactive, the room was clean with no insects, and it was very quiet at night, which made for a peaceful sleep. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, though I personally found some of them a bit too salty. The real highlight of Hotel Sigiriya is its location, offering direct views of Sigiriya Rock. Definitely recommended!”

„Decent clean stay, and good value for the money. Room was small and tidy, clean bathroom, quite nice modern style overall with apparent concrete wall finish ( cool if you ask me and unexpected ). Staff was friendly and helpful, only thing was that the room was direclty in front of the elevator and it was noisy. In the early morning there are monkeys on the balcony searching for food so better not leave the door open.”

„The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the room size is suitable for three guests. The overall atmosphere is very pleasant, with a welcoming ambiance throughout the property. The staff are friendly, professional, and highly attentive. The rooftop pool offers a wonderful setting with a great view, and the food is excellent—particularly the dinner served at the rooftop restaurant. Overall, the hotel offers very good value for money considering the quality of service and facilities.”

„首先想説一下將近¥3500的房費，性價比不是很高。預訂界面完全沒有展示這個酒店真實的樣子，入住後看到滿牆的頭像，覺得非常的恐怖，再加上各種設施老舊，整體住下來感受不是很好。 酒店衞生很差，好像沒有認真打掃，酒店浴巾甚至是深一塊淺一塊，再加上設施老舊，沙發上也可以看到各種污漬。晚上房間裏有3隻蒼蠅，打死了一衹不知道又從哪裡冒出來2隻。早餐也是各種蒼蠅環繞，吃了幾口就沒胃口了。 也就衹有酒店服務人員服務態度還算可以。總體來説不推薦。”

„Stay for three nights. The hotel is heritage not recommended for a person who is afraid things stay alone. The location is perfect at the front gate of the temple of tooth relics. However, one male GSA do not respond well as I told him that the telephine is broken, the fridge inside is very hot and the light in the toilet is broken so many times. Until I checked out the telephine is still broken, the fridge inside is still very hot. But the light is fixed by an electrician who was recommended by male maid not GSA.”

„The hotel is located on the busy street. It’s very noisy at night until early morning. I could hear the traffic and other noises whole night. Couldn’t sleep at all.  The room itself is quite new and clean. But it’s too noisy. I wouldn’t consider to go back again.”
