„This hotel is very clean and all the woman receptionist very polite and helpful. Very happy with the service from them. The 2 man night staff were not helpful. I didn’t understand why I can’t order drink for our room and pay end of the stay. We even received letter in the morning that was outside the room not in envelope which everyone can read I didn’t like at all , reason been dater protection with don’t forget to pay for our order which we did straight away and had my full name on it.We stayed for 3 night so what was such a problem for those 2 night shift man. Otherwise all our stay was perfect. Thank u”

„I was attending a conference at the University of Plymouth and the Crowne Plaza was a great choice. The breakfast was fantastic (photo is the view from the restaurant), the lobby bar is great too and there is also a Tesco Express at the end of the block. The pool and gym were clean and well stoked, too. Would recommend.”

„I always try and book a pre Xmas stay somewhere, with my children . I came across Woodford Bridge on a booking site , and it seemed to offer great value for money so I thought why not. There are some positives and negatives which I ll list below. Arrived on a dark and gloomy Tues evening, the roads are not particularly great , potholes galore in the area. In the dark its quite scary roads too, in the middle of nowhere !! Check in was straightforward, nice friendly staff , however I found they have a tendency to talk amongst themselves and leave you waiting for too long before saying ” can I help you ”? Apartment was very clean , modern and warm. Incredibly happy with the size of it. Easy location to the games room for my boys, which they enjoyed very much, the pool table and table tennis. However the lighting is not great around the steps , and also the warning paint on edges of steps have worn off , so I had to be very careful walking back to apt in the dark. Used swimming facilities , nice , clean , quiet . The other facilities looked good . Went to the pub on site one night. Lovely little place , although totally devoid of atmosphere, hopefully better at weekend when live music on. They definitely need something. Prices of wine extortionate 175ml for 7.25 . I had to contact reception as the seal around the oven was coming off, did this in the morning before we went to atlantic village. On our return it was still hanging off, so had to contact reception again. Although I really liked the apt , there are a couple of improvements needed I feel. Firstly I could not find a chopping board or fish slice in the kitchen. As a single female with 2 children I also did nt feel safe as the apts can be accessed by anyone , there needs to be a key card reader on the entrance to the block , not just the apt door. Overall , it was a nice enough stay but I Don t think we d return. Probably much nicer in the Summer , and more going on in the area”

„The hotel and area was fantastic, however, service at the front desk and the restaurant was lacking. We took a long weekend break and were excited to try the beach club, however our experience was dampened by the service. Being made to stand around for 5 minutes, whilst being told we hadn't paid (when we had) was unnecessary and frankly embarrassing. The restaurant was the most disappointing part of the stay. I'm the evening service was slow, followed by having our order wrong twice and also dropped. Breakfast at the restaurant was lacking compared to cheaper hotels that offer continental. Small selection , nothing outstanding. When we ordered a cooked breakfast, it took 30-40 minutes to receive some eggs and pancakes although the restaurant was fairly quiet. However, the room, facilities, and the spa were fantastic. Beautiful and comfortable rooms. The beach club outside was gorgeous. The spa was perfect and treatments were, to quote my partner, 'one of the best massages of my life'. We're unsure if we would come back. Although the facilities were great, the service was mostly subpar and not what we'd expect from a harbour hotel.”

„Bardzo kiepskie miejsce do parkowania, schody prowadzące na parking są niebezpieczne dla kobiet i dzieci, ponieważ w okolicy śpią bezdomni mężczyźni i palą nieletni *****, opłaty za parkowanie są bardzo wysokie i wynoszą 10,90 £ za jeden dzień, więc byłem tam sześć dni, podczas gdy Premier Inn kosztuje tylko 6,90 £ za jeden dzień, po przyjeździe do recepcji, chociaż urodziłem się w Torquay i mieszkałem tam przez 17 lat, a teraz mieszkam w Tajlandii, poproszono mnie o paszport i zapewniam, że nie byłem z niego zadowolony,”

„A simply Devine hotel with such historical charm  The charismatic entrance foyer draws you into this wonderful exquisite reception area We had the upmost pleasure in staying on New Years Eve  & were greeted with a lovely glass of free champagne in letting the New year in  They also had a really good modern band playing the finest of music in one of their opulent rooms  We would grant this very fine hotel a definite 5 Stars experience  Many thanks”

„A very comfortable hotel, felt welcoming with their friendly staffs, an eco environment in every aspect and a lovely patio garden cafe with parasol and sofa. Great for family of 4, beds were comfy and the room was cool in summer with its clever eco cooling system. Location is great next to the M5 with easy access to Cornwall and Devon seasides.”
