Decent place overall. Hotel was located alongside the main road and easily accessible. Check in process was relatively smooth. Room was visibly clean, beds were comfortable and blackout curtains and radiator were effective. Breakfast was slightly disappointing as it was mostly a cold continental one with no hot food options. The appearance of a rainbow in the morning added a nice touch to the stay.

Love this hotel very much. Except the breathtaking view is true to the pictures online, also the attentive service from the reception and housekeeping. Dinner at the hotel is suggested reserving first(they sent email to remind me to do so) and the food and the waitress is nice. They also have a snack bar and swimsuits for purchase. The room design and color tone is really relaxing and functional. The hot tubs outside is so good not only for photos but also for soothing and relaxing the body. Recommend for staying 1-2 nights here during the whole trip.

Clean modern hotel situated near the entrance to the town. Large room but space mostly in the washroom (if you like big washrooms its great). Breakfast is BIG plus in Iceland, hot cooked American breakfast (bacon, eggs, sauteed mushrooms, bread and toast), lots of juices and milk, three cereals available. Avoid the espresso machine just get the brewed coffee made by the staff. Tea is sachet so dependable. Brilliant stop on the way to the east

Jest to dla mnie najbardziej zadowalający hotel podczas mojej podróży po wyspie na Islandii. To tylko 10 minut jazdy od miasta Vik. Jest to bardzo wygodne. Hotel zapewnia śniadanie, które jest bardzo obfite i smaczne otoczenie jest dobre, z dużymi oknami sięgającymi od podłogi do sufitu i piękną scenerią łąk za oknem.

GGuest UserThe hotel room is spacious and the breakfast has a pretty decent spread of food choices. There is even sauna and hotspring services provided with towels provided. The room is spacious and warm. The bathroom is spacious with strong pressure of warm water. There is even a coffee machine provided in the room. However, the price is expensive in my personal opinion. The hotel is about 10 minutes drive from the central town of Vik with a lot of eateries, petrol station and shopping areas. Overall, it is still highly recommended if budget permits.

FFabian YipThe place gave off a very country club kind of vibe, the room was well decorated, enough space to open 2 large luggages and still have some space to walk. The bed was comfortable for the night’s rest too and the breakfast though not many options but all were delicious👍🏼 The nearest town from this accommodation was a 10-15mins drive, hence the location had a high score. This will be my to go to accommodation when I visit Iceland again!

HHealerDaddyLocated in the heart of Selfoss, it offers easy access to both the coast and the inland area. The facilities are relatively new. The rooms are not particularly large. There's parking, but it's limited, so you'll have to park on the street if you run out. Breakfast is similar to other hotels, but the selection isn't extensive. The coffee is good. There's a spa, but it costs 3,000 kroner per person. It has two small circular heated pools, one cold pool, a sauna, and showers.

GGuest UserWe appreciated the one-mattress queen-size bed, something we found to be a rarity in our Iceland trip (the norm seemed to be two twin-beds slammed together, which just isn't the same thing. The staff was helpful and the facilities clean and well-maintained. The only negative was the fact that the hotel charged a separate fee to use the hot tub.
