Hostels w: Sichuan, China

Bardzo podobał mi się ten hostel, ma bardzo wyjątkowy styl i wielu międzynarodowych gości, z którymi można swobodnie porozmawiać w holu. Przedłużyłem pobyt o jeden dzień, wszystko było świetne. Pokój był codziennie sprzątany przez panią, po każdym gościu zmieniano pościel.

Cudowne miejsce, wspaniałe wnętrze w prawdziwym seczuańskim stylu i mnóstwo świetnych zajęć organizowanych przez hostel. Dobre miejsce do poznawania nowych ludzi, ale też wystarczająco dużo przestrzeni, żeby robić swoje. Polecam!

What a perfect hostel! A few steps away from the bus station and at walking distance from Kangding main square and the monasteries The hostel is clean, well organized, with a large communal space, a fridge and traditional stoves The room (6 female dorm) is spacious, there is a window with mountains view, the bunk bed is large and equipped with light and international socket; there is even an electrical blanket for keeping you warm at night The large outdoor terrace between reception and dorm building is so lovely and has a great view over the mountains and river I really liked the rustic feel and thee extensive use of wood of the hostel

Hostel jest dogodnie położony, blisko deptaka, licznych restauracji, sklepów i metra. Jest czysto, łóżka są wygodne i szerokie, jest dużo miejsca, a hostel ma własne oświetlenie i gniazdka (nie europejskie, ale jest port USB), a wszystko to z zasłoną zapewniającą prywatność. Czwarte piętro jest przeznaczone wyłącznie dla kobiet. Prysznice są dość przestronne, z wieszakami w kabinach na ubrania i zasłoną chroniącą je przed wilgocią. Polecam.

Nice hostel with several common areas to dine in. The rooms are nice and well-equipped. There is also a kitchen you can use for 10¥ if you want to cook your own meals.

Dla mnie dobry hostel odgrywa ogromną rolę w ogólnym doświadczeniu podróży i ten mnie nie zawiódł. Obsługa była znakomita: Yuki, Jingbuer, Lanyi i inni, których imion nie pamiętam (niestety! 🥲). Wszyscy byli niesamowicie przyjaźni i zawsze sprawiali, że czułam się mile widziana. Zorganizowali szereg zajęć i wydarzeń, tworząc wspaniałą atmosferę i zachęcając wszystkich do udziału. Dzięki nim moja podróż była jeszcze bardziej satysfakcjonująca. Na pewno wrócę do Chengdu, żeby tu jeszcze raz się zatrzymać 😊

The famous Eat Mountain Hostel lives up to its reputation! I stayed here for three nights and had a super experience. I kept discovering wonderful little details, like the pear candies placed by my bed upon arrival. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and you could even choose the firmness of your pillow. Most importantly, the bathroom and shower were very clean, and the shower gel and shampoo were good quality – I was happy about that! In the evenings, I saw many people enjoying themselves in the common areas, exuding an infectious, happy energy. Perhaps that's what hostels are all about: giving travelers a sense of belonging and joy in gathering together, rather than feeling adrift. I wish Eat Mountain all the best! (For context, I was a black female solo traveller) Location On a long street with many restaurants and shops along the street and a self service ATM 5 -10 min walk away, including a small market in the mornings. It is a residential area, so you will most likely be the only foreigner, but people are extremely friendly and helpful, albeit the stares. The entrance faced the main road and was well lit. There is a flight of stairs that you will need to go up to get to the hostel area. If you have not tried hot pot, I would def recommend going to the Haichiniu Xianxianqie Beef Self service Hot Pot place which is around 5 mins walk down the road. Quite far from the centre of the city however it is extremely easy to get to. During the day, there is a close proximity to the underground around 10 min walk, and there is a bus that I took from the city centre to right outside the hostel door where the bus stop was. If you are going through the night/early morning, it is extremely easy to catch a taxi through apps and it is quite cheap (around 40- 70 yen) and the road is very well lit. I felt completely safe in the area. Service Chu, the hostel aunty is warm and helpful, and gives you a sense of being home away from home. This included being made some home made dumplings to celebrate Golden Week which tasted delicious! She gave recommendations on places to go and made sure that I kept safe when out. As another review said, it can be a bit difficult communicating if you don't know Chinese as no English at the hostel or around the area is spoken and it can get quite draining/ mentally challenging at times for us, however Chu still tried her best to communicate regardless and I really appreciated the effort. To get around this and to make your stay more enjoyable, I would be sure to have WeChat set up prior so you can use the chat translator and have your google translate app out ready. (N.B Make sure you are able to set up the account and get the WeChat validation/security text through your HOME sim/data roaming as opposed to attempting to set up your account on your E-sim which won't work). Facilities It is a hostel that provides what you need. The things that took my British head some time to get around was the shower situation and the bed; namely the shower as it was more typical of an advanced bidet than standard shower. However, it was kept exceptionally clean after my first day there and I did my part of keeping it clean by bleaching it down. The bed is quite sturdy, typical of Chinese beds, so I would recommend bringing a blanket or similar to lay on the mattress so you can get to sleep. There is an upstairs area where you can use the washing machine or wash your clothes by hand and an open area to hang dry your clothes. Make sure you have some cash ready to give to Chu to use the machine. There is a vending machine that you can buy snacks for using the your WeChat pay. There is a seating area at the top where you can sit down and eat, smoke and chat. Once you are used to the different products used (i.e remembering the slippers, using the shower etc.), it becomes second nature and a very comfortable stay (funny story: I was sitting on a desk chair outside my room and being use to the chairs in the UK being quite heavy, I swung myself around and ended up falling off the chair LOL!). Cleanliness Like I mentioned above, the hostel is kept exceptionally clean and I had no concerns around hygiene once I got used to the shower situation. The cleanliness is what I can say was a huge benefit to the hostel. Considering how large the place is and Chu is the sole host, it is kept evidently very clean and Chu will be sure to tell you to tidy up too lool. People in China are not a fan of strong smells/ fragranced things so you will not smell bleach or such products but after seeing a storage room, I can assure they are being used! The photos in the other reviews capture it exactly so you will not be surprised when coming to the place.

這家青旅優點太多了： 1.前台小哥非常好，我還沒有進入前台的房間的門，前台小哥就已經從屋子裡出來主動幫我拿行李，這一點絕對超過非常多的青旅，這是五星級酒店才有的待遇，太棒了！還帶着我一起進入我的房間跟我講解這裏的設施和規則 特別好！ 2.有專門的24小時監控的行李室，有給客人進房間臨時用的很大的一個手提袋，估計也是為了解決行李箱不能帶進房間的問題給每個客人提供了儲物的手提袋，手提袋可以放進房間內的儲物櫃有電子鎖； 3.廁所、沐浴間、房間走廊超級乾淨，一點異味都沒有，走廊還有一點香味，這個味道不是刺鼻的香精味，挺好的味道！ 4.洗漱台用的吹風機很好，跟我家裡用的一樣的，這個細節超過很多青旅甚至超過一些全季酒店！ 5.房間很寬敞，儲物櫃也夠大，床墊好軟好舒服，被子也是乾乾淨淨的，地板超級乾淨（這就是外穿鞋子不進房間的好處）地板乾淨的程度讓我吃驚！ 6.洗衣機和烘乾機也有晾衣服的地方也銜接的很好！提供免費的一次性牙膏牙刷、免費的超大的一次性浴巾； 7.整個青旅顏值超高！我入住前在外面就看到了很明顯很漂亮的一個建築！大大地寫着青旅的名字！太有設計感！外面陽台共區很多座位和桌子設計感很強 像歐洲南法風？陽台和四周高樓大廈的建築物形成錯落有致的建築羣美！整個青旅最大的特點就是：工作人員超級好+乾淨美觀+青旅設施設計極佳+內外設計都很牛！ 8.酒店老闆是一位高審美、高標準的人！

Pokój jest czysty, znacznie czystszy niż w hostelu na 11. piętrze. Hol jest czysty, łazienki są czyste, kuchnia jest czysta, wszystko jest czyste, co jest świetne! Łóżko jest całkiem wygodne, codziennie dostarczana jest darmowa woda 550 ml i czysty ręcznik, szafki zapewniają dużo miejsca do przechowywania, a personel jest ciepły i gościnny. Wszystko jest świetne, poza prysznicem. Temperatura wody w prysznicu jest różna, prysznic może w mgnieniu oka zmienić się z ciepłej w lodowatą kąpiel lub poparzenie, i to zdecydowanie najgorsza rzecz w tym hostelu, ale i tak mi się tu podoba.
