Hostels w: Osaka Prefecture, Japan

The accommodation was incredibly clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. I frequently saw staff members cleaning throughout the day. The toilets, showers, sleeping areas, and locker spaces were all spotless. It's close to Namba Station Exit 25, but I'd recommend taking the escalator at Exit 24 and walking a bit further. Exit 25 has narrow stairs, making it difficult to carry luggage up and down. The location is great for shopping, being close to the famous Glico Man and roughly halfway between Nankai Namba Station and Shinsaibashi Station. There were three minor downsides: Firstly, the Wi-Fi connection was unreliable. Secondly, the sleeping area felt quite sunken, almost as if I was feeling the floor beneath. Thirdly, although the reception is on the 5th floor, the sleeping area is women-only. However, when I stepped out, there were men also present in the common lounge area.

This accommodation is right in the city center, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The staff are lovely, and breakfast is included – even if it's the same Japanese curry rice every day, it's perfectly fine. However, the air conditioning in the female dorm was a bit weak; it would be much better if it were cooler. If you're looking to stay in the heart of the city, this place is an excellent choice. I'm actually planning to stay here again at the end of the year and next March.

I had a very nice stay during my solo trip. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There are various of subway line nearby but need to walk like 10mins to reach. Room is nice,but need to be more careful about the cleaning.By the way,I still like the place and love to comeback to stay. It is worth the money.

The room was very spacious for a hostel, and I got a lower bed, which made it really convenient to store my luggage next to the bed. Everything was very clean, and they provided plenty of amenities—pretty much everything you could need. The location was absolutely great. It’s only about a 10-minute walk to the main landmarks, which was very convenient. Overall, I had a really good stay. The only downside was that the check-out time was a little too early for me.

I ended my stay early for a couple of reasons. One; the mattress in my pod was too short and my feet hung off the and. I’m nearly 6 foot. Also, the guy in the pod next to me was snoring very, very loudly all night. Sue the manager kindly let me switch to another pod but I was still uncomfortable so she allowed me to check out early. Also, the place is very cramped and cluttered. Stuff everywhere. It just didn’t suit me. But Sue was unbelievably helpful, kind and understanding.

This is my second time staying here, and the location is incredibly convenient for shopping. Everyone is quiet, and there's a kitchen. I'll definitely be back next time!

The overall environment is very clean, and there's a small hot spring bathhouse. However, because they offer hourly room services, the check-in time is quite late. Also, whether it's a standard or a deluxe room, they all have thin pull-down curtains, so the soundproofing is pretty poor.

I had a really great time here at Casa G.S. Everything was way beyond my expectations. In terms of location, it took me only 5 mins on foot to reach Osakako train station, Chuo Line. With your luggage, you may chose to walk up stairs or take an elevator to and down the train station. You can also visit the nearby shopping mall (Tempozan Market Place) which is located near a beautiful bay, Osaka Aquarium Kaiyuka, and a big ferris wheel. A local bus stop is around 3 minutes away. Tax-free shops, Japanese restaurants, convenience stores (Lawson, 7-11, Family Mart) can easily be reached in the area. For room condition, fortunately I believe the place has been renovated for less than one year, so everything is very nice and clean. I stayed with my parents for 4 nights. The beds were hygienic and comfortable which was a plus to when you were exhausted after long walking days. It has all the necessities you can ever think of such as refrigerator, power socket, adapter, air-con, wet wipes and amenities. The check-in/out, door-lock, and entry systems require no staff or any unlocking devices/tools to pass which were very convenient and secure. An elevator is in place. This is crucial! The lobby has a luggage storage area (free of charge) and a pantry where you can borrow or use necessary kitchenware. Its bathroom may not be that spacious, but very clean and good enough for a short stay. We took the Kansai Airport Rapid train at 1060 yen each from direct from KIX to Tennoji Station. Good to have a kind guy who brought us near to Cogo Tennoji just for a 7-minute walk. Check in was fast with Yasu ,the staff who attended us nicely. The 9- female dormitory was. clean and provided with a code to enter the room and a code to enter the main entrance of the hotel whenever you get home after 11pm. Shampoo, hair conditioner and body wash were free . Hair dryer is also provided but need to rent a towel . Toilet has bidet and clean. tissue paper is flushable . We have good roommates who value respect. The staff were nice and kind. They emailed me when my parcel arrived. So easy to commute by train to Nara, Kyoto and Kobe passing thru Tennoji Central Station. Thanks Trip.com and to Cogo Tennoji ! I will book again whenever I get around Osaka again!

This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel, and I was really impressed! If you opt for a slightly more premium room, it honestly feels pretty similar to a standard hotel. The location is incredibly convenient; you're in the tourist area within a 5-minute walk. Plus, the hotel has excellent facilities, including a restaurant, massage services, and a lounge. I'll definitely choose this place again when I'm traveling alone for work next time.
