This capsule hotel offers excellent value for money. It's perfect for solo travelers who spend their days exploring and only return to sleep at night. The personal amenities provided are clean and hygienic, and the hotel facilities are fully functional. I would definitely choose this type of hotel again for future solo trips.

I stayed for a night in this hostel recently when I needed to catch an early ride to the airport from the train station. The location is superbly central and also easy to find thanks to the giant strawberry above the entrance. The dorm environment was quiet during my stay here and everything was very clean. The aircon was cold but the warm comforter ensured a great night’s sleep. Both shampoo and bath gel are available in the shower room and after staying in about ten different hotels and hostels during my trip, I must say that the scent of the gel here is my favourite! The dormitories is located on the third floor with no elevators so it may be daunting for the physically dis-inclined, especially after a typical long day of walking everywhere in Japan. All in all, I’d give this hostel 5 stars for it’s high ‘CP value’.

I had a wonderful two-day stay here. The hygiene was impeccable, and the room was quite spacious. My favorite part was the communal kitchen in the common area. I wasn't quite used to Japanese food, so it was a lifesaver that the kitchen was fully equipped. I could prepare my own meals.

Absolutely incredible experience. The public bath and amenities was a wonder after a long day of sightseeing. The bed was comfortable and spacious, all areas were clean. The staff were impossible to fault as they were polite and thoughtful on every opportunity. For the price of a hostel room this is service for a higher end hotel.

This was not my first hostel experience, and I have to say, I was a bit disappointed. Let’s start with the positive aspects first: The location was absolutely perfect — I don’t think you could find a better place to stay in Namba. Everything was close by, and getting around was very easy. Also, the staff were extremely, extremely friendly, and we received fresh towels every day, which I really appreciated. Now, onto the things that bothered me: First, the cleanliness: It wasn’t really clean. In the showers, there was always a lot of hair and dirt in the gaps where you enter and exit, which was quite unpleasant. During my stay, someone vomited in the public sink area, and it was not cleaned up overnight — it was still there even at 10 a.m. the next morning. Because of that, the house smelled strongly of vomit for a while. That night, and in general, there was often an unpleasant smell in the kitchen area as well. Without wanting to discriminate, I noticed that many older people were staying at the hostel (since apparently there was no age restriction). Some of them would loudly clear their throats and spit phlegm into the sinks, even early in the morning, which was quite disturbing and unhygienic. Another issue was the temperature: The room was extremely hot at night, and since so many people were sleeping in one room, the air became very stuffy. Even inside your capsule, it was uncomfortably warm. One last point: On the day of arrival, the address on Trip.com was wrong, which made it very hard to find the hostel. It took me almost an hour and a half to find it, especially because it was very hidden with no clear signage outside. I really hope that in the future, there will also be an age limit for guests.

The hostel is conveniently located near the metro station. The area outside is a bit like a bar street, but once you step into the hostel, it feels new, modern, clean, and comfortable. There are several common areas on the ground floor and upstairs, which are great for chatting, using your phone, or working. They also have a shared kitchen, washing machine, and dryer. The dorm room had a bit of a strange smell, but it felt clean. The beds were spacious enough for a comfortable sleep, and each bed had its own private locker.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location right inside the airport terminal. If you have an early flight the next morning, staying here is incredibly convenient. You don't have to worry about traffic or time, and you can get a little extra sleep. However, my overall experience was that the value for money wasn't great. The price of over 300 a night felt a bit high compared to the actual stay. The hotel was also a bit hard to find. I initially followed Google Maps, and the navigation showed a long detour. I ended up having to check Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform) for directions to find the correct route. I'd recommend first-time visitors do some research beforehand. The room was larger than I expected, and all the necessary facilities were provided. There was even a small lockable cabinet next to the bed for valuables like phones, wallets, and passports. For larger luggage, the front desk offers a locked luggage storage area, with each item individually secured, so security is quite good. The staff were also very friendly and enthusiastic when communicating, patiently helping with any issues. That said, as soon as I entered the room, there was a strong, somewhat artificial scent, like the air fresheners often used in public restrooms or malls in China, or a heavy incense smell. I personally didn't like it, and after a while, it became a bit uncomfortable. Also, the duvet on the bed was quite thin, so if you tend to get cold easily, it might not be comfortable enough. Overall, the main value of this hotel is its convenience for catching early flights. If you're just staying to catch a plane the next morning, I'd still recommend it. But for a regular leisure trip, I think the value for money for over 300 a night is just average, and the overall experience was fairly unremarkable.

I chose this one close to the venue to go to the Expo. It was close to Osaka Port Station, and I was able to walk without difficulty even with my luggage (６ years old). It was my first time to use an unmanned accommodation, so I was very worried about whether I could enter the building, check in, and enter the room well, but I was relieved because even I, an analog, was able to do it smoothly. I printed out the passkey and QR code necessary for input so that my smartphone could get sick, so I didn't have to cover it. The building is kept very clean overall, including the rooms. There was no particular problem if you didn't care about the details such as the unit bath and the drainage ditch of the wash basin. I was very happy to be able to wash because there are several washing machines and dryers (and detergents are also available!) that can be used for free in the laundry room. And above all, the cospa is good! Easy to go to the Expo and sleep soundly at this price! It was very helpful. By the way, it was in the 3000 yen range by taxi from the Expo West Gate to the hotel. It is close to Mt. TENPO, so I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity. And! The nearby Korean restaurant was very delicious!

Service: The front desk treats all guests equally, regardless of nationality, with great politeness. They even offer paid luggage storage for multiple days after check-out, not just on the same day. Environment: The facilities are comprehensive, with a communal lounge and even a foot bath, though the water temperature was unfortunately only 30 degrees Celsius. Facilities: The communal kitchen is well-equipped, and the bathrooms and toilets are very clean. The rooms also have ample space for luggage. Drawbacks: It's a bit of a walk from the JR station, which can be challenging if you have a lot of luggage.

Locals don’t usually come here to sleep — they come to wash, relax, and go through the full spa ritual. There are three types of steam rooms, a circular shower, and three baths: two hot ones at around 41°C, and one cold shock bath at around 11°C. You dip in and instantly feel alive. One unique feature — every hour they run a group steam ritual, like a collective massage & heat therapy session. Very Japanese, and surprisingly affordable. Definitely worth trying. There’s also an inexpensive breakfast option, plus vending machines with food and drinks right inside — very convenient. Overall, it’s a men-only vibe: arrive, clean up, relax, reset, and go about your day. The capsule is just a bonus on top of the sauna experience. They give you clothing — not a robe, but loose Japanese pants and an oversized T-shirt. You get your own locker, bedding and clothes are changed daily, and the bathrooms have literally everything: toothbrush, toothpaste, gels, shampoo… even nail clippers. You don’t need to bring anything. Location is fantastic — right next to Dotonbori. Step outside and you’re instantly in the heart of Osaka’s nightlife and energy. Downsides? A strict checkout — you must leave at 10:00 AM, and check-in starts only after 3:00 PM. If you want to stay during that gap, it’s around 300 yen per hour, or ~900 yen for the day. Still — great experience. I always wanted to try a real Japanese capsule stay. Inside the capsule there’s a TV, radio, adjustable lights, and AC — though it blasts pretty strongly, so I turned it off.
