This place is really good for solo travelers. Room is clean, toilet is clean. River is nearby and all shops are nearby. Highly reccomended.

I’m here for solo trip, it is a wonderful place which should let more ppl see, the location is amazing, just cross the road can see the market. The parking is easy for me coz the parking there is easy to see ppl out and park. The toilet is super duper clean, and the. sleeping area is so quiet, everyone there is mature adult, there try to keep the most quiet they can in the sleeping area. Common area really feel warm and cozy. There have 2 cats there is very fluffy and watch TV and gaming area. It is really a place worth to stay, will come back again if visit thai place again.

Not very far from Malacca historic centre.
The name of the accommodation is only available around the corner of the building / on the exterior of building. So you may miss it if you look too closely (no name at the staircase entrance).
Need to pay 50MYR deposit when check-in (you get a receipt and then when you return the locker keys, you get back the deposit and sign on the receipt).
There is an electric boiler in shower room but I could not find the switch to turn it on. I did not bother to find a staff as it was late at night.

I had a really good stay at Discovery Youth Hostel, Melaka. The location is honestly perfect — right in the old town, walking distance to Jonker Street, cafes, night markets, and all the main attractions.
The place is simple, clean, and comfortable, exactly what you expect from a good hostel. For the price, it’s totally worth it. The vibe is chill, good for solo travelers and backpackers, and it’s easy to meet people.
If you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay in a great location in Melaka, this is a solid choice. Would definitely stay here again.

部屋はとても清潔で、快適に過ごせました。エアコンをつけておけばしっかり冷えて、夜もぐっすり眠れます。シャワーの温度もちょうどよく、水圧も安定していて使いやすかったです。スタッフの対応も親切で、笑顔で対応してくれるので安心感がありました。タオルも無料で貸してもらえるのがありがたかったです。川のすぐそばで、川を眺めながら休めるテーブルがありました。立地も便利ですが、近くの飲食店が夜遅くまで営業しているため、外の音が少し気になることがあります。また、洗濯機がない点は長期滞在の人には不便かもしれません。全体的にはコスパが良く、短期滞在にはとてもおすすめのホテルです。

The hotel has provided the facilities as committed in their booking-page in the acceptable condition to their customer, i.e. me. Despite it is a budget hotel only and the overall appearance is slightly vintage :D, the room, the bed/mattress/blanket, bathroom, showering water heater, etc. are still clean and in acceptable condition. Besides, if communicated/spoken to the hotel, it has self check-in option for the check-in after business operation hour, i.e. mid night. Travelers can acquire the room key/card by themselves from a locker with a provided pin code. These enable me to have a good rest after making an urgent booking in night time, travel over 100km then reach the hotel at 1.30 a.m. mid night. The attached photos show the self check-in/out facility, public drinking-water-dispenser and fire extinguisher. Although I can't expect much from a budget, I would like to suggest that the air-con in the room to have service/maintenance so that it won't produce much noise. By the way, the noise only distract us slightly from having rest. After all, based on the offered/discounted price, the room is satisfactory and recommended.

Although just stay one night in Malacca, but I love this hotel the room is clean and the staff offered the free cookie for the guest . This is the cheapest one for a single room in Malacca. It’s a nice deal I highly recommend everybody live here

MMerryD.The price reflected it's worth. It's cheap and front desk is 24/7 even tho we have to check in by Whatsapp while we are already in the lobby. Room is a bit small but clean, toilet is clean, got towel and I bring my own toiletries. The water dispenser is outside. Btw, no window for this room It's perfectly comfortable for sleeping and resting but not for vacation unless you're on budget.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning kept me cool and I was able to sleep soundly at night. The shower temperature was just right, and the water pressure was stable and easy to use. The staff were friendly and always smiling, which made me feel at ease. I appreciated the free towels they provided. The hotel is right next to the river, so there was a table where I could rest while looking out at the river. The location is convenient, but the nearby restaurants are open until late at night, so the noise outside can be a bit distracting. Overall, it's good value for money, and I highly recommend this hotel for short stays.
