I’m here for solo trip, it is a wonderful place which should let more ppl see, the location is amazing, just cross the road can see the market. The parking is easy for me coz the parking there is easy to see ppl out and park. The toilet is super duper clean, and the. sleeping area is so quiet, everyone there is mature adult, there try to keep the most quiet they can in the sleeping area. Common area really feel warm and cozy. There have 2 cats there is very fluffy and watch TV and gaming area. It is really a place worth to stay, will come back again if visit thai place again.

excellent ☆香☆ Some people come here and stay and blame this company for their mistakes, but this place is really wonderful, hygienic and has all the facilities. They have all the facilities as per the adverti*****t given by them, like that, those who stay here for a long time can stay here peacefully, there is no problem, no problem, everything is excellent, don't complain about this.I think they are 100% quality.

This place is really good for solo travelers. Room is clean, toilet is clean. River is nearby and all shops are nearby. Highly reccomended.

I had a really good stay at Discovery Youth Hostel, Melaka. The location is honestly perfect — right in the old town, walking distance to Jonker Street, cafes, night markets, and all the main attractions.
The place is simple, clean, and comfortable, exactly what you expect from a good hostel. For the price, it’s totally worth it. The vibe is chill, good for solo travelers and backpackers, and it’s easy to meet people.
If you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay in a great location in Melaka, this is a solid choice. Would definitely stay here again.

Not very far from Malacca historic centre.
The name of the accommodation is only available around the corner of the building / on the exterior of building. So you may miss it if you look too closely (no name at the staircase entrance).
Need to pay 50MYR deposit when check-in (you get a receipt and then when you return the locker keys, you get back the deposit and sign on the receipt).
There is an electric boiler in shower room but I could not find the switch to turn it on. I did not bother to find a staff as it was late at night.

部屋はとても清潔で、快適に過ごせました。エアコンをつけておけばしっかり冷えて、夜もぐっすり眠れます。シャワーの温度もちょうどよく、水圧も安定していて使いやすかったです。スタッフの対応も親切で、笑顔で対応してくれるので安心感がありました。タオルも無料で貸してもらえるのがありがたかったです。川のすぐそばで、川を眺めながら休めるテーブルがありました。立地も便利ですが、近くの飲食店が夜遅くまで営業しているため、外の音が少し気になることがあります。また、洗濯機がない点は長期滞在の人には不便かもしれません。全体的にはコスパが良く、短期滞在にはとてもおすすめのホテルです。

BBeglyiThe only plus is the hotel's price. It's located on the outskirts of the city, but there's a bus stop right around the corner that goes to the city center or the bus station. Both check-in and check-out are completely contactless. However, if you arrive without phone service, that's a problem, as all instructions only arrive once you're already there. The room was stuffy, the AC wasn't working, and the towels and blankets were worn out. The light in the bathroom kept flickering.

FFreddy KA very clean European-style youth hostel, with very cute kittens downstairs. The air conditioning is sufficient, the location is convenient, the facilities are well maintained, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The whole environment is very clean, because you need to take off your shoes. The cat is very well behaved and cute, and the atmosphere is very warm. Have to take off your shoes when entering the door.
The hostel is chic and practically design, the accommodation was tidy and cozy with affordable price. Moreover, the spacious common area and separated Male/Female bathrooms, simple pantry with 3in1 coffee, tea bag, snacks, water dispenser and microwave oven. There are 3 cute & friendly cats in the hostel too. The public space design is not very interactive.
The capsules or boxes are comfortable. Have good locker system which uses card. The capsule pod was poor ventilation after cover by curtain as there is no mini fan and exhaust fan, towel not provided. After pulling the curtains and turning on the light, you can clearly see dust flying around. It is generally very clean, but the bed is relatively small
This dormitory hostel has strategic location and are good, small, noisy electronic lockers, privacy curtains don't bring that much privacy.
Staff don't seem to care a lot about what's happening and the staff are not that friendly. The mattress was comfortable. The lobby was clean and offered complimentary hot water and snacks, which was a nice touch.
There are no bath towels and slippers, and it costs RM5 to ask for a bath towel. No hot water for shower and 2in1 shampoo/body wash provided but rarely replenish. The bathroom and toilet have windows to the outside, so they are more ventilated, the space is large, and they are very comfortable to use. The shower head has a brass retro shape, which is super beautiful.
No deposit needed, easy to check in and check out. Location is strategic and near to major attractions, shopping malls and eateries within walking distance. But no lift and amenities. Have to climb up stairs and suitable for younger generations.

AAnonymous UserHotel room super clean, the owner really mantained it well. Hotel was newly renovated on march 2025. Aircon,tv,fan all are very new. Does not provide water bottle but has water purifier outside the room.
Down side: at night owner not there, need to whatsapp owner for checkin, at night water pressure is quite low, and wifi very unstable at night. Day time everything is good. Hope owner can take note on that. Overall everything is good for this price as a budget hotel.

JJuan Luis CintasBest location possible just nearby the main attractions, but very thin walls so you can hear everything and anything, and only a fan (there is AC but you have no remote control which I believe you need to pay to get).
I wanted to work in the common area but their common area WiFi wasn't working any of the days I was there so I had to go to a coffee shop instead as inside the room there isn't a table where I could sit and work.

The shower temperature was just right, and the water pressure was stable and easy to use. The staff were friendly and always smiling, which made me feel at ease. I appreciated the free towels they provided. The hotel is right next to the river, so there was a table where I could rest while looking out at the river. The location is convenient, but the nearby restaurants are open until late at night, so the noise outside can be a bit distracting. Also, the lack of a washing machine may be inconvenient for those staying long-term. Overall, it's good value for money, and I highly recommend this hotel for short stays.

LLanyueliangThe room was spacious and comfortable, and the sturdy bunk beds meant no disturbance between sleepers. Complimentary coffee and tea were available all day, which was a lovely touch. A big thank you to Alan from the staff for helping me get a taxi to Malacca Central, ensuring I caught my return bus on time.

GGuest UserWell... the location is great. You couldn't find a more central or romantic place to stay. The room is also kind of cozy, definitely old-school. Great view of the river. The owner is incredibly nice. But... We booked 36 square meters. The room was 16 square meters plus a small bathroom without hot water... Taking off your shoes at the front door and walking barefoot through the house is also a matter of personal taste. The offerings urgently need to be revised. And the price is too high for what you get. But still, I'd recommend it for the right kind of renter. But I wouldn't book it again... Too quirky. Too expensive. And far too many barriers throughout the house. The toilet is designed for short people.
