The room is spacious and comfortable, parking is convenient, and the breakfast is simple. Drinking hot and cold water, coffee and tea are available 24 hours a day. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, and all questions are answered. There are several restaurants next to the hotel. It is a bit far from the main attractions in Newport, and you need to drive there. The corridors are a bit musty.

Very well located for downtown Thames Street and wharf areas. Melville House is one building of about 5 in the street that are used for guest rooms. Upon arrival we were put in a different building. There is no front desk but an Innkeeper at No. 31. Check in and check out very easy. Room well appointed.

No frills hotel, but it was clean, central location and friendly staff, just what I needed.

A great room, very clean and great view of the ocean! Delicious coffee in the morning!

Everything is very good, the room is comfortable, the scenery is beautiful, the service is kind. It is a pity that the air conditioner has some smell, which makes people feel a bit uncomfortable. And sometimes the bath will spray the outside wet 😅
