In a great location near Elizabeth Quay, and Langley park for Australia day fireworks and other events.
We stayed in a Premium room with river view. It was spacious, modern and with a great shower. The view was nice, but would be great if the windows weren't so narrow.
The walls were way too thin for a luxury hotel though. We could hear the conversations of the guests in the room next to us, and they woke us up when they came back to the room at 1am. That's the only reason I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
Beachside paradise. Dolphins swimming close to shoreline. Emus walking around camping/car park areas. Amenities excellent with 2 pools, kitchen facilities, restaurants and even happy hour in the Monkey Bar. We stayed in motel room and it was fabulous for views of the beach and sunset/sunrise views. Must do the Cruise offered, fabulous.
Mandurah Quay Resort is a very family-oriented run resort. Full of friendly and helpful staff who are always there to help you. It resides at a quiet corner of mandurah which gives you the peaceful which any urban hectic human needs.
Book a 2rooms Spa apartment where I can enjoy the jacuzzi amenities within the room. Room was spacious and clean. Very decent value for its price.
If you like to have some fun, can loan the crab pots and various equipment from the hotel owner/staff who are more than willing to go the extra miles. Dropping point is at the jetty within walking distance.
Can also drive around to visit the Giant of Mandurah who are sited in magnificent sceneries. Beautiful , huge and yet can feel the freedom and friendliness of the giant.

Great
GGuest UserI was very happy with the room, much better than Ibis, though its location isn't as good. The hotel also provides two complimentary bottles of milk daily, and the staff are all very polite. Definitely avoid taking the subway to the station the hotel recommends; it's a long walk through a quiet area. I suggest going to Perth station first and then transferring to bus 910.

GGuest UserOur favorite two nights out of nine in Western Australia were definitely at Monkey Mia! The hotel environment is fantastic. However, a crucial tip: avoid booking rooms with shared bathrooms. They're cramped and the soundproofing is terrible! The best way to experience Monkey Mia is by staying in a room with a scenic view.
The hotel's restaurant is also excellent. We stayed for three days and two nights, and every meal we had there was satisfying. The dishes are clearly prepared with care; the seasoning and ingredient pairings were superb every time.
Emus are everywhere around the hotel, and you can observe dolphins up close too.
