Excellent hotel, contemporary chinese, located 10 minutes walk to bustling part of old town. Filtered water and hot water dispenser in room. Free afternoon tea. Free pickup/ drop off at Datongnan railway station . Quiet at night. Reception staff very helpful speaking good English. Recommended.

What a great boutique hotel. We were picked up at the train station and taken to the North Gate wall entrance and we walked about 200 m to the hotel. We were greeted by Ming Xia. She gave us recommendations on what to see. She even arranged the Hanfu photo shoot which was excellent. The hotel is a small (about 9 rooms) but beautiful, spacious & clean. We tried the western & chinese breakfast. Both was very well presented and tasted great. The hotel is beautifuly located. Definitely recommend this hotel. Than you Ming Xia!

Comfortable hotel in a refurbished old castle on top of a hill. Comes with an onsen, including outdoor onsens. However, location was a bit inaccessible with no amenities nearby so taking a cab to the city was essential for food and groceries. Staff were also curt and not very friendly.

認真寫一段評價，3月21號那個週末一家五口去忻州古城玩，在桃花島訂的房。桃花島距離忻州西站十幾分鍾車程，很好找。我們定了一個複式，一個平層，“文魁”複式屋還帶個小院，泡湯的池子可把窗子打開，身體泡在熱水中，鼻子吸着小涼氣，美哉。兩間房的泡湯池子都比想象的大很多，我們還建議店家更新一下平台上的圖片，宣傳圖片沒有體現出湯池的大小。 店家像照顧親戚一樣照顧着每個客人，剛到達時，介紹古城方向，推薦遊玩路線，還貼心地給我們裝上水，帶上紙巾。離店時，告訴我們怎麼定位叫車，幫我們和司機溝通。 總之，週末玩得很好。古城不大，但物價合理，美食太多，給人一種很温馨的感覺。

房間非常滿意。對寵物很友好，酒店位置在古城入口處，很好找，門口可以停車。酒店不遠處就是打鐵花的劇場，應該是古城最佳的位置了。我選的温泉房很大，隨時可以泡湯，上下水衹需幾分鐘即可，酒店還送了起泡酒和飲料，總結一下這個酒店如果再來忻州古城一定是不二選擇！

My stay at Futiandahua Rain Hot Spring Hotel was absolutely fantastic! First off, the location is superb, right inside the ancient city. It's super close to where they do the iron flower show, which, by the way, is an absolute must-see. I'm getting on in years, but watching that show brought tears to my eyes; I was so moved by the performers' dedication and the incredible spectacle they put on. It's clear the hotel owner pays incredible attention to detail. My two girlfriends and I stayed in a triple room, and from the moment we walked into the lobby, we were gushing over the hotel's ambiance, the staff, and the room's decor. Every little detail was thoughtfully done. Even when we were heading out to explore the ancient city, the front desk proactively offered us a pack of tissues to take with us. The room itself was a standalone unit, so it was incredibly quiet. They delivered coffee and afternoon tea daily, and the fruit plate in the room was fresh. There was also a cooler in the lobby with bottled water available for guests. The whole room was smart-enabled with XiaoDu (a smart assistant), and the shower had great water pressure and was very comfortable, with a separate wet and dry area. Oh, one small thing: the trash can in the bathroom was a bit too small; I hope they can improve that. The private hot spring was amazing. After a full day of sightseeing, coming back to soak in the hot spring and chat was just pure bliss.

一家超讚的民宿，個人感覺強過三星級酒店，強烈推薦家庭親子和情侶出行。酒店位置便利，離代王府不行5分鐘左右，周邊早餐、特色美食小館、咖啡店都有。前台小姐姐人很好，給了很多遊玩飲食攻略，還幫我們帶了會小孩，前台提供小吃水果和熱水。小院非常温馨，地暖非常給力，浴缸超讚，房間面積大到超乎想象，泡在浴缸裏吃着小吃水果看着移動電視，簡直了

Great, When we arrived at the front desk because the weather was bad that day, we arrived late, and we also helped us upgrade the room for free. We went to the ancient city to eat and have a special car transfer. We also took a small paper towel for me to put it in my pocket for a while to eat snacks. It was a bit cold at night. The young lady who picked up the car would also give me a nightgown. I was really touched. ～ Back to the hotel is an open-air hot spring pool. The service lady also helped us make tea intimately. The hot spring pool was disinfected twice. Put the water, there is a telescopic ceiling outdoors, a little rain, soaking in the bath and drinking the ice beer sent by the hotel. Order a fragrance, it’s not too comfortable, I’m too enjoying the details of the indoor facilities. The double basin, two people will not fight when washing, and there is a separate dressing table. Finally, I don’t need to stand and makeup in the hotel. ～ This trip was a bit temporary, I stayed for a day, but the experience was full. Next time I will bring my family to live in the villa of the hotel! Highly recommended! ! !

Initially it was a bit hard to find the location as the hostel is not directly accessible by car. You need to get to a gantry and request for it to be lifted. But overall the communication with the hostel was easy. The room was spacious and comfortable for a night stay. The hostel provided nice breakfast.
