Hotele Hot Springs w: Gunma Prefecture, Japan

We had a wonderful stay! We especially liked the location - walking distance to small downtown Shima, yet far enough to have less tourists walking around. The hot springs were great, food was delicious (especially if you want to try authentic local Gunma prefecture cuisine - might not be best for children), and the nightly traditional paper story telling was also great. We took a train + bus ride from Tokyo and the local bus (40min ride) from Nakanojyo station stops right in front of the hotel. We will come back again for sure!

A relax and nice view in Kusatsu. The hotel is located a bit far from bus terminal. However, there is a free shuttle bus service which connected with bus service. I strongly encourage the private onsen package where we can taste three different type of onsen in the hotel. My platinum ring changed colour, may be due to the acidity of onsen water😂. The dinner and breakfast inspired and it is good for family trip with a number of accessible service for elderly with physically limitations.

Not so far grom yubatake . The hitel have shuttle bus from bus station to hotel and hotel to yubatake. Breakfast is night . Onsen outdoor is really good. The price also nice

All staff members are friendly and helpful, managed to communicate with both English and simple Japanese! They even helped to plan my itinerary for the day. All the meals were delicious and fresh with generous portion. WIll definitely visit again next time =)

Kanemidori is a short walk from the bus depot. The staff at the reception and restaurant in the hotel were all very nice and helpful. The futons and bedding in the room are very comfortable and warm for winter. You can also control your own in room heater. The hotel onsen is well maintained with full amenities: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, face pack, hair treatment, and multiple types of lotion. We booked the room only but added on a dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Both meals were carefully prepared and delicious. The main tourist area is within walking distance of the hotel and you can go around in the yukata paired with the long and short kimono jackets provided by the hotel in the winter.

This is a fabulous place for an authentic Japanese holiday. The location is beautiful. The outdoor hot spring bathing area is clean and looks like a movie set. The included meals are generous in portion size and are delicious. Our room overlooked the river and it was great. Tatami floors and shoji screen windows. This is an old and historic place and does not cater to western norms. You sleep on futons on the floor. Only Japanese food is available. But it is a wonderful place to spend some time.

Podróżujemy przez Azję od dwóch miesięcy, a to może być najlepszy hotel w całym wakacjach. Położenie jest spektakularne, nezt do rzeki i między wszystkimi śluzami wulkanowymi, pracownicy są przyjazne i są bardzo szczegółowe o tym, jak wszystko działa. Ale onsens są najlepiej. Przede wszystkim są otwarte 24/7, więc możesz tam iść kiedy tylko chcesz. Ale jest ich wiele, z różnymi temperami, a także jego bezpośrednio obok rzeki, więc dźwięk tła płynącej rzeki sprawia, że jest jeszcze bardziej relaksujący. W innej części hotelu znajduje się również oddzielony onsen, który ma część wewnątrz i zewnętrzną.

We had a very good overall experience at this onsen hotel. The atmosphere was relaxing, and we enjoyed our stay very much. We especially appreciated having an English-speaking staff member available — it made communication much easier and helped us feel more comfortable during our visit.

Ogólnie hotel został odnowiony, więc ma czyste i nowe udogodnienia. Jednak niektóre elementy, takie jak telewizor, są datowane. Miał duży parking (bezpłatny) jeśli jeździsz. Onsen jest czysty i nowoczesny. Można korzystać z ich siostry hotel's onsen tuż obok. Bezpłatna kawa i pasty dostarczone po południu. Hotel oferuje również slippery Yukata i japoński styl dla gości. Byłoby lepiej, gdyby dostarczyli koszyk zamiast plastikowej torby dla gościa, aby nosić swoje rzeczy wokół podczas kąpieli.

My stay at Kamenoi Hotel Kusatsu was excellent. The onsen was very clean and quite spacious, making it a relaxing experience. The hotel also has a convenient shortcut that leads directly to the Yubatake pedestrian area, which is a big plus. Both breakfast and dinner were buffet-style with a wide variety of dishes — plenty of options and all very enjoyable. The service was great, and the room was comfortable to sleep in. The only downside is that there were a bit too few power outlets in the room, but it wasn’t a major problem. Overall, a fantastic stay and highly recommended for anyone visiting Kusatsu.
