Amazing onsen, free popsicles, probiotics and noodles from 21:30 to 23:00. Room is tidy and staff are very well trained . Like any Dormy Inn, check in is at 15:00 and if you want to check in earlier prepare to pay an extra fee.
Location is easy to reach by tram from the train station, and it is just near the tram stop.
Women behave of weirdos approaching in Chinatown in the evening for escort services . They chase you until you shout to them in English .
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything about this hotel just worked. The room was clean, spacious and properly laid out. And the amenities were fantastic. From the natural hot spring to the massage chairs to the free refreshments and free evening (small) ramen. There is a shopping mall across the road (AMU Plaza) and also a tram stop a stone throw away. The breakfast was good but nothing to write about. And if that’s not close enough, there is a 7-Eleven next door (and connected to the hotel).
The hotel is standing on the hill looking down Sasebo harbor. You can see the islands in Saikai National Park depends on the room direction. They have a big bath and the private bath both. Driving up the hill may be a little challenging because the road is narrow and winding. Hotel stuffs are very polite and helpful. Breath taking view with a hotel pool where people use for the wedding reception. Just another beauty of Japan.
Staff were super hospitable, breakfast and dinner were decadent and during dinner each dish/course was introduced to us in detail.
The onsen was also super nice and relaxing with full amenities provided.
Our trip to Huis Ten Bosch was compounded a hundred fold by staying at Hotel Okura Jr. The place is awesome and has a boat ride exclusive for hotel guests. The room is spacious and the breakfast is amazing! Would recommend to anyone planning a trip to Huis Ten Bosch Nagasaki!

Great
JJethro_NganAfter picking up our rental car at Fukuoka Airport, we drove straight to Hotel Okura JR Huis Ten Bosch. The hotel itself is like a grand castle, perfectly blending in with the nearby Huis Ten Bosch theme park – quite a spectacular sight! The room was incredibly spacious, which is a rare find in Japan. We also highly recommend the buffet lunch in the hotel lobby; it offered a good variety of dishes at a reasonable price. Definitely worth trying!

GGuest UserUnzen is a magical place, with all the volcanic steam rising from the ground and the lush greenery dotting the town. I thought it was truly beautiful and this KAI hotel made it doubly special. The services were top-notch, the kaiseiki dinners delicious and interesting, and room was good sized. I am not a fan of traditional Japanese ryokans, so this was a good compromise, and I enjoyed myself there very much!
FFeifei1018I've become a huge fan of Dormy Inn hotels! They offer incredible value for money, featuring hot springs, a generous breakfast, and even complimentary late-night ramen along with other sweet treats. Their locations are almost always prime, and this Nagasaki branch is no exception. It's less than a 300-meter walk from the airport bus stop, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. Plus, you'll find both Hiragi Ramen and a fantastic Saga beef restaurant just around the corner on a bustling food street.
Mmeow_littlecatI recently had the pleasure of staying at this onsen hotel and it was an unforgettable experience!
The serene and relaxing atmosphere of the private onsen was exactly what I needed to unwind. The hot springs were impeccably clean and offered a breathtaking view of the surrounding nature.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure every detail of our stay was perfect. The traditional Japanese cuisine served at the hotel was exquisite, with each dish carefully prepared and beautifully presented.
Our room was spacious, comfortable, and offered a lovely blend of modern amenities and traditional decor. The attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel made our stay truly special. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. It’s a hidden gem that I can’t wait to visit again!
GGuest UserMy absolute favorite place to visit!
The staff's genuine kindness is truly heartwarming.
Three distinct spas, each offering its own unique charm.
You can feel their sincere desire to go the extra mile for guests.
JJutagGreat location and great hotel. Very accessible and near to malls and attractions. The hotel has amazing restaurants from fine dining to more affordable food halls - you’ll really never go hungry! 😊And if you’re planning to watch sports games at The Stadium, the hotel has direct access to premium boxes 😊 you’re watching without really leaving the hotel. It’s really the best place to stay. Also, the tram and other public transports are just a walk away!
SssxllExtremely convenient, just across the road from the station. Check-in isn't until after 3 PM, but you can drop off your luggage beforehand. The room, though a bit dated, was very clean and spacious. They also provide free water. We skipped breakfast since we were checking out early the next day. But the hot springs are fantastic! The open-air bath even offers a view of the Ferris wheel at Huis Ten Bosch. Highly recommend it!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is very close to the Unzen Hell scenic spot, making it very convenient to visit in the early morning. The hotel rooms are large, clean, and tidy, and the hygiene is excellent. The hot springs are excellent, and the views from the baths are beautiful. The hotel also provides exquisite yukatas free of charge. The breakfast is delicious, and the dinner buffet is even more varied, with fresh ingredients and high quality. This is a very cost-effective hotel and highly recommended.
