"Dobry hotel. Stary budynek. Wanna z hydromasażem obok basenu była pienista, co mnie obrzydzało, zwłaszcza że ludzie ciągle wchodzili i wychodzili. Winda dziwnie podskakiwała podczas jazdy w górę. Śliska wanna pod prysznicem. Budynek znajduje się tuż przy torach kolejowych, ale z mojego pokoju nie było zbyt głośno. Siłownia miała stary, skrzypiący sprzęt, ale wystarczająco dobry do treningu. Łóżko było w porządku. Dobrze się wyspałem, co było głównym celem pobytu w tym hotelu na jedną noc. Personel hotelu był bardzo przyjazny i pomocny. Typowe miejsce na nocleg w czasie intensywnego lata."

"My trie room is a double bed + single, with ample of space for a tube arm chair and a comfy office chair with rollers. You got all one needs for daily. All function well. Best location to bus station and train. Big shopping mall, variety of chain eateries. M&S food is by the end of the mall. Service is efficient and sincere. Clean and best spring supported mattress & pillows among the hotels I used so far in the UK with the same grade. I wish they could change my dirty mugs when the 2 days I ask to clean up the room during my 6 nights of stay."

"Room: was extremely small and no ventilation whatsoever. With movement restrictions all around and packed end to end. I was almost scared to hear no windows in room but had no option due to short stay. None of the 3-pin sockets in room were working. No way to charge mobile phone. I managed to charge outside in mall rather than complaining. Shelves next to TV wall mounted was hanging in air with couple of screws which were not in holes properly and was posing a dropped object hazard and I was concerned about my own safety if it would fall on me while I am sleep. Reported and owner removed this with some argument saying I leaned over it to gain access to tv 3- point socket to charge my phone. This is clearly not the case as shelf was wooden and was resting over couple of screws half inserted in lower base but no fixtures whatsoever on the top to hold the frame. Everyone’s needs and priorities are different but for me personally it was a mistake having booked this hotel as I have stayed in multiple hotel chains in Aberdeen and UK and care and hospitality here was very different and was fully missing. Obviously, I asked the shelf storage to be removed due to worry around fall over but this came at the cost of no kettle , no cups and hence no tea ,coffee making and no hot water possibility for me 😃 during my stay."

"The Chester is close to town and a quality hotel that we suspect would be rated higher if it had the gym and pool and spa that many five star hotels have. But, they are not needed. The room was a good size, with all necessary facilities. The common areas of the restaurant are of high standard and the food was excellent. Our room had a couple of minor issues. The shower door leaked a littlw, but caused no problem. The deadlock on the door dod not engage, but we were not concerned as there was a locked door between our door and the public areas. We will happily use again, particularly as the prices were reasonable and the standards and quality were very good in our experience."
