"This is a motel that is a cosmetically a bit dated but super clean and the staff are absolutely wonderful! We stay here frequently and are never, ever disappointed. Also, make sure to say hi to Stanley when you check in!🐱"

"Stayed with Thousand Trails Membership. Had booked one week to start, then went to Williamsburg. Stayed another two nights on drive back. First the bad - There is no set office to go to, and your paperwork is in a mailbox at arrival. We didn't see any staff for several days in. Our cell and hot spot wifi (Verizon - this I can't blame the park for) did not work most of the time because of how remote it is. We had several issues with our electric (which caused a line of outlets in our RV to burn out, almost lost everything in our fridge and made our adapter shut down all our electric and was burning hot to the touch). We could not reach anyone from the office due to no cell service and not seeing any staff around. Finally, after a few days, I saw someone at 6 in the morning while walking my dog. She said she would tell the manager. No one came for another two days, the night before we were leaving. Since we were due to come back on our return, I requested we be placed in a better site, which we were. We had no issues with electric that time (though still poor cell service). (Note: the person who finally came was Nancy who was very nice and promised us a better spot on our return.) Now the good - The place is absolutely beautiful and sits right on the water. Incredible sunrises in the morning and sunsets at night. The grounds are immaculately maintained. The bathrooms are old but are kept very clean. The "marina" has a building with a screened porch with rocking chairs and tables & chairs and inside a pool tables, tv and some games. There is a dock there to fish (although we didn't catch anything)."
